| It's a bit odd that Chloe alone among all the witches had these whatever powers that can lead to resurrection and quillmaking etc Like is it that every single witch has a unique power that only she can use from birth or something? Strange setting but guess I can roll with it And then why couldn't Adonis just resurrect both of them? There were multiple 'eggs' on the tree right? I do gather that he consciously decided against doing it with Chloe But at least with the blue haired girl, wouldn't her optimal way of action be ask Adonis nicely about reviving Doroka too, instead of being super angry at him? |

They finally made an epic scene on how Adonis should wield his powers, in an epic way.
They should've done this after his breakout. It could've made the series more epic.
But Adonis is still a jerk.
He actually pushed her away like that... I know his feelings of reclaiming a treasured item from his treasured guardian but still...
I guess it's getting better than the previous episodes. We got to see more of Adonis. However, the way they presented the beautiful paradise of witches was rather lacking.

| Of course they have to add harem. Supposedly all witches are unisex and at the same time don't have sex. But definitely can have sex because how else are suffering dweebs gonna project? Also why would they have tits if they fall from trees, literally. Breasts are used for breast feeding and according to this tree grownup witches with perfectly developed tits fall down. They keep adding these weird spells and stipulations and keep complicating the story. Then this blue haired girl comes and accuses Adonis that other girl died for him, but she was the one who cloned Adonis and not her friend. Why not both? Naah, don't think about it. Oh and main character gets more and more divorced from reality with every episode. He threatens everyone but gets killed in most stupid way possible. Blocked magic? How the hell did the witch clone him if the magic was blocked? And now they have saved him from death, but he threatens them as well. What is he gonna do, bleed on them as well? Whole thing is just a joke. And a bad one at that. He dreamed of revenge for 50 years and thought of every possible move, other than the one that put him in jail in the first place. Some smart ass he is. And lets not talk about how he pulls revival magic out of his ass. |

But no, this show is shallow and poorly written so am expecting something very stupid. Like something happening that people will call twist but it's actually not a twist because they didn't really hint at something being possible and writers just pulled it out of their ass. |

@MeanEYE well, if you don't want to watch it then don't, but there are some crazy twists coming on our plates. I don't know what you expect from twists .. but this anime is pretty good & manga also interesting and doroka has some crazy powers.like the main antagonist...

The fact you read manga and know details anime only watches don't doesn't make it a good anime, does it? And am not in it for "crazy powers". I like good writing, world building, characters, etc. Best animation in the world can't save a bad story nor can a good story save poor animation. Anime is a sum of its parts. Saying anime is great because original manga story is great is not the way things work. We know about the story only the amount it was told to us through episodes in a way it was told to us. Also recognizing something has flaws and still enjoying it is completely valid. I too have watched shows I saw as flawed but enjoyed them and found them entertaining. This is not one of those because they keep adding laws and mechanics to it that could be used to solve all problems but writers have conveniently forgotten about that part and are pushing their own narrative. Things like shooting a bullet and then increasing it in size only for it to get stuck in building. Why not throw a grenade and make it 100x bigger. Easily kill entire city. Naah, don't think about it. How about levitating huge rock above the city so they can't disable magic from fear of crushing everyone, then you get to do whatever you want. Naaah, don't think about it. Why witches not divert asteroids to Earth and kill everyone that way? Naah, don't think about it. THIS is what am talking about. It's just lazy and poor writing. Why would witches all be female, well because we need a harem and protag-kun needs love interest. It's what good stories have. Why would they have breasts if they don't need to breastfeed. Why would they have vaginas if they don't need partners. Well harem without sexual objectification is no good. It's all poor and lazy. Nothing more to it. And you are right, I don't like it and I don't have to watch. But if my comments manage to wake someone up from liking trash like this, then I have done a good deed for the day. Perhaps in the long shot we have a chance of getting back compelling stories and interesting characters. |

@MeanEYE you have so many good points against it..and I agree but I kinda like adonis's revenge of humanity so I like this anime this anime has many plot holes every anime has..but I still watch this because I want to see the fight between Adonis and the human ... so I continue it.. thnks for your concern....

| @SoHaN_Lv999 that's all fine. Piece of entertainment can be flawed and enjoyable. Kind of like watching Saw movies or Fast and Furious. It's dumb, but fun. But key point in those movies is, they don't try to be smart about it. They know it's dumb fun and then crank it up to 11. If you haven't watched Scissor Seven, do so. It's stupid awesome. This show tries to appear clever, like main character being decapitated at the end of the episode and then very next episode he's cloned and writers go tee-hee we have fooled you all. No you haven't. He's a main character ffs, he can't die. Had they handled it differently, say for example he just disappeared in that smoke it would have been infinitely better. They still know he's not dead because they found out body is fake. So it changes nothing, but now there would be a mystery of where did he go. And then revelation of witch base on moon would be great. I know, small things, but they matter in the long run and don't treat audience like idiots. I said so previously and am repeating myself now, I wish Adonis was an anti-hero. I love anti-heroes. One of those flawed anime I talked about that I enjoyed was Accelerator special. It's no high art, but main character is interesting, animation is good and that's all I needed to have fun. But there were no flashbacks, there was no "clever" writing. Just simple fun. Am guessing you are expecting this same show to develop into something similar considering you mentioned his fight with humanity. Also, you misunderstood me. I am not trying to make anyone hate anything. But I would love to call things as they are. This here is bad writing. Am not sure how it compares to manga, but what am watching is just not all that good. Rate it appropriately and enjoy if you like it. But it ain't 10, nor is it 7.5. |

@MeanEYE ya there's no flashback or character development. and I also don't like this unisex stuff. plus dorokoa is the 2nd form of Sakura.. but still there's something I like in this anime and enjoy it.. and the ratings now is good..

| This anime is so damn edgy, might have to keep watching to see how large of a dumpster fire it turns out to be. The flames could be quite the sight, I'm already amazed as is. I'm assuming Doroka will be revived as well? She is on the poster and listed as a "main character" so she can't be dead already yes? |

| I’m feeling kind of eh about this anime, not enough to drop it but I’m not optimistic about future episodes. Having the MC be unlikable could be a really cool concept, but the edginess with narrative reassurance that he’s “in the right” (like, he’s bad but the world is worse) kind of ruins it. There’s some effort to still paint him as a bad person, but it’s not enough in my opinion. I’d prefer if MC embraced being an awful person hellbent on revenge without the flashbacks to make the viewer sympathize with him nor validate his world view by having not only the humans be irredeemably corrupt but also the witches. Honestly, the more I think about it, the less I like the world building for this series, even though that was what initially drew me in. |

I did prefer Chloe to come back though, I felt she carried this show in the first episode and after she left it has felt a little dull. The male MC is an insufferable prick and the pink haired girl is well, barely made much of an impact so far for me to even care about, but we'll see. Hopefully they can pull off some strong character development for these two to turn them into solid characters... otherwise the show is an easy drop for me. The only thing that is kind of keeping me in it right now is the decent world building. I like the Witches VS Humans theme going on (magic vs tech), hopefully there will be more to that as hinted this episode with the Witches wanting to use his powers for their own benefits. What ever that may be. |

| @Wallenwhatsit I share the sentiment. Am actually rooting for the whole anti-hero plot but am not holding my breath for it. The rest is meh. Premise can be made interesting but at the moment writers don't really inspired confidence. We'll see. Few more episodes I can muscle through. |
