So, this anime was 7/10 for me. The story has potential but this project is in the wrong hands. They should change studio for season 2 (If it gets). The biggest complaint viewers have and which is valid is the lack of direction and animation. All other excuses like why Adonis is weak? etc are not valid, at least from my perspective. Firstly, Adonis was never shown as the strongest, that's why he was struggling with strong opponents. He is still a nuisance. Secondly, some people say Doroka is weak but she's not. All witches are specialized in a particular magic. They can not do everything they want.
I will say the director has directed this series so wrongly. The pacing of the story also became slow in the middle. Also, when Adonis was in her love magic spell, his magic power was limitless so he would have been able to fix her eyes but no. If you know the reason for this you can tell me and If you have any other concerns then you are welcome to explain.

ya I agree the story has potential but it is in the wrong hand.. Manga is far better than anime.

I've been thinking what if, either MAPPA, ufotable, Mad House animate the series? I already read the manga and it was very cool, nevert regret it.

MAPPA? Then they do a MAPPA, so obviously it will be worse than S1. That's how it went with many of their shows.

my biggest issue is still the moon arc, felt weird and kinda rushed storywise. Didn't see enough reason for his decisions and just felt like they were introducing something to immediately destroy it, so seemed somewhat unnecessary.

I pretty much liked the rest so I agree with 7/10

If you are asking about why he summoned humans on moon then i have a answer. He wanted to go back to earth without witches help or i say he knew that witches would never allow him to go back to earth so he needed humans to go back. I hope it cleared your confusion

Yeah it had a lot of potential but turned into garbage real quick. The first ep gave a false impression that it was going to good. I didn’t mind the animation, it was decent but god the writing is downright horrendous. One of the biggest letdown of this year for sure

See I was right as always. I knew this was going to be bad. I've read the manga and it was very apparent that the author didn't know where to take the story next. heck they even tried to do some shounen battle style when I last read it. Nowadays, just showing me episode 1 it just doesn't cut it anymore I don't ride the hype train.

Just coming back to read the disappointments from people who inhaled the copium.

Episode 1, 9/10. Up until episode 3, 8/10. Slow decent, but not extremely noticeable, until episode 6. From episode 7 until the end the show became a 1/10, for me. I don't believe it's redeemable, or salvageable. If by some miracle it does get a 2nd season, well it's score on MAL will have to convince me to give it a shot.
