| I'm really enjoying this show. It really does deserve the hype it gets. They put the same amount of care into an important battle scene as they do into a scene of Frieren using a spell to find lost jewelry. it's a refreshing show :) |

| Love this episode a lot. The development between stark and fern. Fern a mild case of tsundere kicking him. And frieren not sure if back then she know but the scene was touching in the current moment where it was clear she does. And himmel pretty much declared his love there in the past for sure Also sein is funny xD love his interactions with stark My favorite episode so far |

| Wasn't sure how they were going to fit Sein into the group, but it sort of seems to just work. Little bit of drama there regarding Fern's birthday gift(or lack thereof), but glad she was able to talk it out with Stark and it seems like they may have gotten close and even made a good memory from it. When Frieren lost the ring she got as a gift from Himmel I really thought she wasn't going to get it back, but I like the way that now she seems to have realised just how important it is to her now she has it back. |

Fern is big mad cos Stark forgot about her birthday. Good thing they quickly reconciled thanks to Sein.
Man, why is the animation of this anime so good? Even for "slow" episodes like this one the animators go all-out. It's amazing.
Frieren almost lost the ring Himmel gave her. Good thing the merchant she was traveling with conveniently had a spell that can find lost accessories.

| It's funny how Fern and Stark reacted after finding out thr significance of the flower design. Himmel gave a ring with that same design, which Frieren did not give any meaning. But its interesting that, as far as we the audience are concerned, Himmel knew its significance and gave Frieren the ring as though he was a lover. The flashback gimmick is so well executed. |

| This one's for the shoujo girlies/lovers! Absolutely loved this episode. It was lovely in the best way possible. Himmel's subtle care and love for Frieren is so charming and gets more bittersweet as we (read: Frieren) realize(s) the depth of his feelings. I could tell most of Fern's stoicness/bluntness stemmed from being socially awkward around her crush. I really like how Stark and Fern act realistically for teens |

| Sein's addition to the party as the "true man" is great. Guy knows what's up between Stark and Fern and I'm sure one day he'll be the best man in their marriage Oml Himmel proposal scene, this show never fails to end every episode with a tearjerker |

| The ships are sailing at their full throttle, ships galore! So many shipping moments! Fern has always had a bratty and spoiled attitude, always overreacting at the slightest of irritation, that's a toxic personality trait no matter how you look at it, at least her pouting was adorable I guess. Well, no matter, having Stark choose Fern's gift was charming, they get along well if only Fern wasn't so childish. Sein is the MVP, SEEEEEEE!!! I Knew he would be best bros with Stark, he's juuuuust the kind of comrade he needed. Another guy to relate to! But more than that he's a 30ish years old man so he's more mature than the rest socially. My man is out here giving advice and guidance to Fern and Stark. Within a short amount of time, he has become a pivotal comrade for the party. Nah man... That heart-to-heart conversation between Frieren and an old Heiter about the concept of an ideal adult is so fucking real. Pretending to be grown-ups is a whole vibe. I'm glad Frieren gave Heiter that head pats, he deserved it for how much good he did. That scene is a tearjerker. Speaking of a tearjerking scene, Himmel's silent proposal to Frieren is that much more painful since Himmel knew the symbol of the engraving on the right, bro even kneeled and made Frieren wear it on her left ring finger. Damn man, it hurts to see Frieren only starting to realize how much she meant to her past comrades and especially Himmel. |
