@ColourWheel I'm happy there a bunch of people who say the opposite of what OP wanted people to say atleast. I see more anti-ecchi threads lately than pro-ecchi threads.

Whether Users like it or not, Japanese Anime as a medium has brought the world of animation stuff like Ecchi, Hentai, hardcore Harems, Moe, graphic animated gore, graphic animated rape and sexual violence, Yuri, Yaoi, hardcore loli, etc...

Japanese Anime was one of the 1st animation mediums that even featured transgender characters in their works without trying to make it some social spectacle dating back to the 70s and 80s. (OMG Japanese Anime was woke before woke was even woke lol)

literally almost every other Anime series that features a group of cute attractive females in it there is at one point a scene where one girl will grope another girls breasts...

As if Japan even cared in the 1st place what kind of rep their domestic Animation had to begin with. Lets not forget Japan didn't try at all to push their domestic Animation to over seas markets. It was the West that originally showed interest and started to license it to mass distribute to their own domestic markets.

To simply have Japan get rid of all the things Westerners don't like about Japanese Anime would fundamentally change what Japanese Anime is and has become as a global phenomenon. It's one of the reasons why Japanese Anime is so Unique is because it's so diverse and willing to do things in animation where other nations domestic animation wouldn't even dare to try to step foot in.

@Tropisch Either go full nudity or go no nudity because the middle is dumb since it makes neither side happy. The only exception is series like DxD that actually make them relevant to the plot.
