| I love how the author put the vague yet engaging relationship between Fern and Stark... definitely gonna stick with the show for a while |
| On the Schwer Mountains, Frieren, Fern and Stark are still travelling within winter lands, that the former has fallen asleep, dreaming of how the Hero Party has done quests and earned rewards, as much as Himmel tries to prove being a Hero to Heiter. That said, Stark wanting to carry Frieren, the distrust in Fern's eyes, more than the axe he's carrying on his back, she's afraid that he could be a pervert. The trio eventually reaching the Village of the Sword, the place where the Hero's Sword is stored untl Himmel picked it up, it's a legend, that no matter however the loli village chief being frustrated about her return, and it's back to monster extermination around the village. But why the trio when Himmel is the Hero (of influence), and a cave that was spotted by monsters, the werewolf lord comes attacking them, staring at the Hero's Sword which is still stuck in its place... Himmel, despite being a fake hero, still lived to the promise of defeating the Demon Lord without the sword, and it's possibly why so that it's prretty much used as a tool of fantasy for the make-believe of wanting Himmel to be a hero. To the Appetit region they go, where it's Stark 18th birthday, Frieren being spite that she wanted to give him the potion that dissolves clothings, it's the desire of men that Fern stopped her from doing so and burnt the potion on her. That said, Stark going around helping people with their mundane tasks, seeing Stark wander on clouds that looked like boobs or poop...it's a joke that he'd rather not say to her. Being afraid to broach the subject, Fern asks Stark what he wants for a birthday present, and this is the first time that he's receiving gifts since the time of his family that despises him, his brother being his only salvation that he abandoned when his village was attacked by demons, it's for sure a sad state of affairs. Nonetheless, Fern wants to keep Stark in check and got him a bracelet, while Frieren cooks up large hamburg steaks, which is Eisen's custom to reward warriors for their work, and is the same with his brother. It's a homecoming feeling for Stark, though Frieren still having the remnants of the vulgar potion that Fern stops her once again...oh well T.T |

| Watching the interactions between Fern and Stark is an absolute delight! |
| Maybe I'm looking too much into it but when Stark offered to carry sleeping Frieren Fern appeared jealous that he was going to use his hands. Also later on when Frieren was going to give Stark the potion that dissolves clothing Fern got annoyed so perhaps Fern is starting to develop feelings towards Stark even though at this point she's too stubborn to admit them. Imagine their potential offspring... |
| A very calming episode, at the same time a sad one. Stark's past hurts tbh. Having your own father call you a failure is hurtful. While your brother takes care of you, just proves your brother is the better person in the family. Also why does Frieren have that potion. Bruh. |
| Watching Frienen wearing that white negligee on the bed with her perky behind pointing up while she's waving her foot around occasionally stopping might have awakened something in me. Someone pls post a screenshot of that ASAP |

| In just one episode, this show dunks on the Big Three shounens and their child of prophecy protagonists. Himmel didn't draw the sword, but he still won it all in the end. Also, nice Itachi cameo.  |
| I'll never get tired of this alongside the magnificent backstories. I do wish Stark's was a bit more in depth, it went a bit too fast but whatever. It still had a lot of impact on me together with Frieren's memory. Fern's just getting better and better every episode even though her trust in Stark is getting worse in some way. He really is a kid. You could say the same about Frieren. Oh boy, the animation sequence in the bed was amazing and that smug face of hers. |

| the reveal with himmel not taking out the sword felt a bit more dramatic in the manga and i preferred that because it took a min to sink in but the transition to the flashback was just way too smooth here lol but another great episode. more of fern and stark and i like how she still cares about him enough to wanna get him a present. the stuff with his brother was really nice as well. |

| This truly was a Stark centered episode. From the legend of Himmel the Hero not being able to pull the sword but still overcoming it by defeating the Demon Lord to realizing just how his master, his brother and now his companions cared about him on his birthday. It was a moment of growth balanced by Frieren's smug face with that rare ecchi potion and Fern's disdain for it with Stark not really knowing what was going on. Good stuff |

This is my favorite anime of the season but Why japoneses like to always have anoying characters. Fern is became anoying for no reason at all, i Hope this dont make me drop this anime like a droped goblin Slayer because that anoying brat with glasses.
