@Kimurah I guess I agree with the repeating event POV, but I don't find the 'infodumps' to be padding, they add substance imo

Substance is the crafting of an event or plot device that will be important for either the characters or the plot in future episodes.
Getting a lenghty depiction of another game with a broken economy is pretty worthless. I agree with @MeanEYE just because it counts as world building you shouldn't over explain and waste so much time in it (be concise), otherwise it feels like worthless padding.

| @Kimurah I disagree. United Round sound like pretty interesting game and it shows appeal of "trash games". Honestly I wouldn't mind prequel that is all about Sunraku playing that game. |

| @Kimurah There is difference between "I personally can't say I love it" and "it's worthless". You may not lik United rounds , but it's appeal is super easy to understand and that goes for Barserk Online Passion too. Also usually one that complains about somethingint "has problem" (with that something) not one who is happy with what they got. Either way this is story about gamer and gamer who only play one game is not gamer, that's tourist. |

| @karrotStick Later in story there are mentions of good games. It's actually quite funny as Sunraku is completely out of loop regarding any and every tittle others keep mentioning. |
| Cue episode six, picking right where we left off with Pencilgon doing her thing. You have to respect the fact that she set herself up as a secondary reason for others to play the game, preventing others from leaving due to her harsh treatment. Harsh treatment isn't the best thing, but it beats being evil purely for the sake of evil. Suppose in a game where the true purpose behind it is lost, the only thing you could do is make a new goal. It's weird to see Sunraku without the bird head that I've grown accustomed too though. Honestly, I expected Animalia wouldn't be able to do anything to Pencildgon other than buy some time. Flashy magic ability there, but when you're facing off against the more capable PK second-in-command a big flashy attack won't cut it. The whole Sunraku vs 4 PKers at the gate doesn't feel fair, so that's a place where he'll thrive lol. At least I would think he could maneuver them on his own, but we have more company now with Psyger-0! This is quickly turning into a big old party, between the shaman and our girl from outside the game watching his back (for very different reasons). Would've though the shaman couldn't do anything with her being stuck on the ground and losing the last shreds of life, but I suppose the shaman has another trick up the proverbial sleeve. |

| unless all those pkers were like only a couple levels higher than him it really was hes just too skilled to let some mob characters one shot him, at times i forget this is suppose to be a VRMMO with how the fighting works meanwhile Psyger-0 one shotting them was what i expected to happen but then we wouldn't really have a show ,pencil made sense since she was just going easy also flavor limiters???? huh |

| OSTs had a big role in this ep, really liked the different music types in the background it contributed making the ep better x10 times. Also, I think that Sunraku is stronger than Arthur, although it was an epic battle cause Arthur did so well too, that 4v1 PVP was so exciting and I didn't expect Rei to get involved at all. |

| Action was good this episode, same with the backstory of Arthur Pencilton. They're rivalry/friendship of trash games was entertaining. It goes to show how players will make they're own stories/rules up in a game which makes it way more fun that the company's game-playing intention. Also animation was good this episode, the fight was really engaging. Plus background for characters we got added more to the fight, which is the kind of info we need. Notice at the end with the Mini's they add info that's not necessary to the story but still fun to know. This series does info padding right. |

| Worst episode for me so far. It was a bit boring, tbh. I'm not really feeling this Pencil girl. However, the very end was more interesting as Psyger-0 finally caught up to Sunraku. I'm interested to see how she is going to introduce herself. I'm guessing she isn't just going to be outright honest with him. Either way, I'm sure he will be accepting of her friendship since she did just save him and all. |

| @Zain017 they feel short because they are. 24min supposed runtime, out of which 5 minutes is for ending bit that's suppose to be a comedy, then you have 3 minutes intro and outro. Add to that flashbacks from previous episode and you are left with barely 15min of actual content and even that is wasted often on pointless drivel. |

| @Tenzen12 Issue I have is how they approached presenting that game. It's not through things happening, but people standing still and narrating what we are suppose to imagine happened. At which point you have to ask yourself, what's the point of even showing that part. It could have been just casually mentioned along the way. |

| ahhhh so many cliffhangers, seriously? that was one creepy wand at the end there but it looks like our dude is gonna make more friends just when we thought he was surrounded by enemies. i still find it hilarious that his love interest is so demure but in game she's decked out in dank armor. one thing about the bunny...if i have to hear one more "desu wa" im gonna lose it. |

| @nick_el_son Am not sure I'd ever excuse exposition of any kind. Even simple dialog would suffice in integrating any story. Even stupid flashbacks with things happening would be an excuse. But 3 still images with narrator talking as if we are reading wikipedia. No thanks. Laziest of lazy approaches. I could even understand if subject being narrated was important and they simply had to add it for clarity but didn't have the budget... but this was some random thing that we will never hear about. Just to pad the time. And I know many people will look at my comments and say it's only a cartoon and they don't owe me anything, they are trying to make it out in the world. Sure, all understandable. But no one can tell me I should like something I don't like. |

| Its not a good reunion for both of them, despite what they did with those kusoge before. Yeah five minutes were not long enough and making Animalia go squee on her. Run Sunraku Run, its been a chaos so far, until, the armored paladin crush arrives. Hell yeah, solid cliffhanger. So far its fun. Might leave it into the more better place to pause all the battle. But still i appreciate this episode with all Emul cuteness and pencil knight good shot. If you know you know.... |

| Fellow trash player Pencil Knight comes as Lvl 99 PKer Arthur Pencilgon to Sunraku's delight. coming off from a trash game that prioritizes stealing loot above all else, and that's where Sunraku thrived with Katzo, facing off against Pencil Knight as leader of her own kingdom, nicknamed the Dystopian Princess, and now the 2nd in command of the PK group Ashura Kai, nicknamed the Giant Killer. Indeed, both of them have their affiliations together, and it makes for one fierce fight...but to make matters worse, Emul turned back into the Vorpal Bunny, and escaping into Thirdrema is only possible now with Animalia covering for him. But Arthur is not alone, and her group comes attacking him. and Sunraku takes his chances...with Psyger-O coming in for the clutch. Rei searching high and low in Shangri-La Frontier for Rakuro, and even IRL, she's bumped out...that is until the message from her in-game friend spotting him, and then on scene being in PvP mode against Ashura Kai, But not to be outdone, Animalia has her hidden trump card? |

| The banter between Sunraku and Pencilgon was a lot of fun. Seeing both characters laugh before attacking each other had me laughing. The Ketchem joke was amusing. In the wild grass lol |

| Liked the way they introduced this new character, Arthur Pencilgon, although I find it quite funny that despite them being level 99 they weren't able to beat him pretty much instantly. Makes you wonder what the value of items and skills is in this game, even if I get that Sunraku is supposed to have built up his experience over a bunch of games, thought his opponent would have used some skills or something. |
