| Okay, I am caught up, and—I know he's been somewhat like this since the beginning, but Kazuya has advanced to a stage beyond the average harem protagonist this season. His constant self-commentary on his pathetic nature and horniness is reaching absurd levels. I can't imagine a normal person being that nervous and apprehensive about the opposite sex, or doing so that obsessively about even little things. It's as if, because the harem genre is already so ridiculous as to have left the atmosphere, Rent-a-Girlfriend has been able to launch Kazuya out of the solar system: The unreality of the situation has forced this insane internality onto his character. I regularly say that anime is nowhere near serious literature, and regularly invoke Dostoyevsky when I do so; but it's the crazed, obsessive internal lives of the Dostoyevskian male protagonist Kazuya reminds me of. Maybe he'll murder Chizuru's grandmother. |

| Great episode, I laughed so hard. After being demoted to the jealous annoying girlfriend, Ruka shines again. She was my best girl before the appearance of Mini Yaemori, but she got some points back from this episode. |

| To be honest, this season is actually good despite its flaws it is actually better than the previous seasons. And I don't know why Ruka is just cringe to me now. Don't know why people think she is the best among all the other female cast. |

Well I’m glad Kazuya actually admitted to himself that he’s a massive asshole. I actually feel a bit sorry for Ruka at this point.
But at least Sumi got some airtime this week, If like to see more of her and Mami this season though.

| Ruka tried so hard for Kazuya and she went too far, Kazuya should give her a kiss as a gift. Sumi is difficult to appear and when she appears she doesn't speak, so it's impossible, but she is very cute. Chizuru's grandmother knows about the feelings and love that her granddaughter has for Kazuya, I hope she thinks better about it, every time she goes to see Kazuya she will remember her grandmother. |

| Ruka actually used a heart monitor??! Creepy. As she complained of not having been given a gift, she cried like a baby to her mommy. She's annoying as always. Ruka = will always use childish and immoral things to get her way. 🙄😑 It's not her fault, well mostly hers but the most important point of all is MC is still keeping (yes, keeping) her even if he's eyeing on another girl (Chizuru). At this point, I can only conclude that MC is just a sexual maniac trying to get into a sexual relationship with someone. I have no hope for his unfaithful principles in his story. P.S. For EN dub, instead of "Kazuya", Ruka calls him "Babe". AWW. Sumi just made me forget Ruka's annoyances this episode. 🥰 |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
