| The Op was gorgeous. The visuals there left me speechless. This episode was great as well. They are doing emotional scenes correctly. The voice acting is absolutely on point. So far so good. |

| The OP is beautiful! Not sure why everyone wants the mom to be more dimensional. I feel so bad for Miyo, she didn't deserve any of that especially at such a young age. It was clearly the step mother that took away her mother's robes and she gets confronted so she throws Miyo into a dungeon and then fires the maid that was looking out for Miyo. That's so fucked up man, I literally almost cried. I'm surprised Kudo noticed subtle things about Miyo like her rough hands, constantly apologizing, her raggedy clothes, and her thin figure....interesting *side eye emoji*. I'm glad he wants to look into her past, hopefully Miyo will eventually talk about her past with him. The step mom clearly hates Miyo because she's not her daughter and she was the first born. The dad completely dismissed Miyo because she doesn't have a supernatural ability and was probably pressured by the step mom to hate her as well. |

| Considering it was only the first episode, the abuse of Miyo didn't really fully sink in yet. But wow, that flashback really got my blood boiling. The opening is absolutely exquisite. I was sighing in awe by the end. It might very well be my favorite OP of the year. The production quality of this series just keeps impressing. It also helped when I finally realized the OST was by the same composer of Violet Evergarden's. Indeed, this has a certain quality that's highly reminiscent of VE. The last part of the episode has piqued my curiosity. The father seemed cold & neglecting, but that conversation makes it sound like he was protecting Miyo from being used for an even worse arranged marriage. |

| Wow I didn’t know that there would be actual supernatural powers in this show. Not sure how to feel about that. The Op and ED are very good and cute, I think that Kudo has trust issues with how much he wants to look into Miyo and is thinking about her past. I’m sorry, I feel bad for Miyo, but she gets treated so badly in her flashbacks that it’s almost comical 😭 |

| Has a great story line that gives you all the emotions there is & I love rewatching them over & over. There should be more shows that have a similar love story where they gradually fall in love & not rushed there is ups & downs like in normal relationships. One of the best shows there is & can't wait for more episodes. LOVE My Happy Marriage. |

| The visuals for the opening looked jsut stunning, and same goes for the ending too. Man, I'm praying on Miyo's family's downfall dude. That's some despicable shit right there breaking her comb like that. Some villain level shit man. Kiyoka seems like an alright dude. Hoping he'll find out about Miyo's upbringing and do something about it. |

| Just hang in there Miyo. Better episodes are coming. This episode contains one of the most emotional parts in the movie: when Miyo cried simply for being appreciated for her cooking. It's not as dramatic as in the movie but it still has some impact. I don't know if the anime would cover events beyond what the movie covered but it would be nice. |
| Stepmom and her daughter are obviously trash, but personally I feel like the father is even worse than them. |

| It has arguably a key emotional scene that intrigued Danna-sama. Anyway, it's a bit different to how the live action executed it which I liked better. I was supposed to just rewatch Episode 2 and stopped, but damn it. I have to rewatch Episode 3. I love this anime. |
