| No words can truly describe how amazing this anime is, and how much it truly touched my heart. This will one of those shows where in 10 to 20 years everyone will look back and see how amazing this show is. It genuinely had me crying just about every episode. |

| i liked it for the most part, a few episodes were boring though an the show d ve been better without Violets superpowers (she has those even if the show doesnt acknowledge them) an also witjout the Dietgard subplot, at times i did thought that the show was almost being carried by its amazing production values 7.5/10 please let the Major stay dead, movie is next, ever since they talked about this character i was like, that guy is alive isnt it? i want to be worng about this |

| Violet finally came to terms of her identity, personhood, and purpose in life. She finally decided that she's not gonna take orders and that she'll live as long as she can! What a lovely finale to a lovely series! |

| Hmm what a peak violet moment, now she's no longer an obedient dog or pawn! cause now she's one of my favs now ^_^ Now i'm even more curious abt the movie one after this and i thought overall this was enjoyable for me while yea the first few epidodes were a bit slow but it's aight imo. 8/10 |

| Found the end a bit disappointing tbh. It feels like the letter kinda ruins her character growth. She got more emotional but on the other hand in some ways she's at the same spot she started in. In example still nonsensically refusing to accept the Major's death, stubbornly claiming he's still alive and basically only living for him. Now granted I guess later movies will prove she's right but I think it's silly. The story works way better if he's dead and it makes no sense for him not to be and Violet should have been able to accept that. It works way better if over this journey Violet finally was able to accept her love for him and then accept his death and thus her loss of the one she loves. And yet realize it's still worth living on, for herself, and for the others she can help not just for the Major. Afterall this is basically the lesson she helped some of her clients learn, yet she couldn't learn it for herself? Instead it feels like part of her journey is tainted by her not growing in that way and saying she's living to find him one day. "I still believe you are out there alive somewhere, that is why I will continue to live". Oof, that's basically just something she would have said in episode 1, that's the problem to me. Also felt like the main characters were weak overall. No one in the main cast really captured me, in fact the 1 episode side characters were more memorable. Episode 10 was a 10/10 though. Production was great and there were enough emotional moments scattered throughout for me to enjoy the show. Overall series I have to give a 7/10, good but feels like some missed opportunities. |

| Start of the episode was way too dark again, could barely see what was happening. Rest was a nice conclusion I guess, with Violet finally being able to live without being ordered to. I was prepared to cry a lot watching this, but it actually "only" happened in 3 episodes. Was still a nice ride, though I feel like it's a bit overrated. There are definitely better KyoAni shows out there. 7/10 |

| Oh man, this whole series was so beautiful. I cried in every single damn episode. I mean every episode tugged at your feelings and made you feel so many wonderful emotions. I can't think of other anime as beautiful as this. Thank you for the journey AWC 2023. Why did the mother say, " he is alive" *long ass pause* "within my heart" lmao |

| May be slow and predictable at times but the emotional storytelling of Violet's character journey as former emotionless battle doll to 'Auto Memory Doll' who leaves a positive impact on the people around her as well as her clients, coupled with breathtaking visuals made for a fantastic anime that truly drained my now red dry eyes from all its tears. |

| Beautiful anime. Stunning visuals, great direction, really touching story told in a professional way that was developing properly, as well as the main character's personality (Violet Evergarden). I watched it with English dubbing and it was very well done. One of the best English dubbings I've ever heard in anime, even though I rarely watch them dubbed. |
| Beautiful anime. The animation and art is excellent and the story gripping and emotional. From episode 3 on I had to cry every time. Although you only get to know most of the characters for one episode, I could immediately sympathize with them and understand their feelings. Violet has a very tragic story and I like her a lot. All the other side characters are likable in their own way, but unfortunately they don't get enough screentime (especially Benedict). |
| I'm left wondering who it is she saw at the very end. Surely it's not Gilbert, but it had to be someone important to make her have such a reaction, and considering the fact it was an urgent request. Perhaps it's her biological parents? |

| Are we just gonna ignore Benedict here in all his high-heeled-boot glory who jumped off a moving train, jumped off a bridge, aimed for a bomb the size of a cereal box, succeeds in dislodging it, and manages to catch a grip at an awkward angle under an archway, and then also somehow manages to save Violet from falling even though it looked like they were nowhere near each other??? Huh??? WHAT?? Ok anyway, amazing show, was so beautiful, brought back some nostalgia as I did watch it 6-or-so years ago in 2018, although I didn't really remember everything that well so re-watching it was almost as if it was a new experience. But yeah I think this is a show even better on a second viewing. Was for me at least. Maybe the huge time gap played a factor, but I still honestly thing that knowing everything actually elevates the experience. Every episode felt like a final episode, but this episode which is the actual last one did of course have a beautiful ending as well. Episode 9 had Violet forgiving herself, and this episode has her finally letting go of Gilbert and moving on to live her life. Who was it that Violet saw in the end? Am still asking that question to this day. I remember back then wanting it SO BAD to have been Gilbert..... but now.... I'm glad they left it open-ended and keeping you guessing. I think this story is better if Gilbert really is gone, it strengthens Violet's story and her character. There is a theory I saw in one of the comments in the site I use that says that it was in fact Gilbert, but he had kept the fact that he was alive a secret from Violet all this time until she had learned to find her own way in life. Now while that would be very nice and would fit with all the themes, I still think it works better with him gone, even though before I would have DIED so that Gilbert could live and be together with Violet once again. Now with that said... Anyway, wow, this was a great re-watch. Changing my score from a 7/10 up to a 9/10. MIGHT put it down a bit to an 8/10, but I still have to think about it some more. It can be quite melodramatic at times sure, but hey if it succeeds in actually making you cry, then I have no complaints there. The whole thing was beautiful from start to finish. |

That was the prettiest anime I've seen with the most twisted and faqed up but at the same time boring shojo story ever which some diddler ossans turn orphans into slaves.
I hate devoted anime girls without any clear goals in life. Understanding other's love is not a goal for herself. And I question what kind of a love is that.

| Decent stuff. Thought the lax standards of the ghostwriting service were odd, as it is a real profession, but I'm sure there's different standards between companies regardless. The quality of the story fluctuated between episodes, but generally veered towards competent presentation and composition. |
