| Interesting episode, I think Kiruko and Maru might have something more than just friendship and duty going on... That whole thing with the Asura' ''ghost'' or whatever that was was terrifying, I hope we can see a lot of the mysteries being cleared up by the end of this season, and hopefully we get another season of this. It's also interesting that they show us how curious and sexual the kids are. |

I only know her age from seeing the manga panel someone posted here That ending scene was already kinda weird, it's one thing if she just goes for other teenagers, but the way she says she wants to be the "queen of holtels" makes me wonder otherwise... As for Maru and Kiruko, I don't see a problem with that, Kiruko did promise Maru, and its not like he tried to r*pe her, he just wanted to grab the boob he was promised |

| This is *so far* my favorite anime of the season, but I have to admit that the amount of sexual content, however censored and slight, feels pretty gross to watch as I am an adult and the characters are… barely teenagers. I have a feeling that some of it serves a purpose to the plot - tokio gets pregnant in a nursery where babies are manufactured? - but even so, I can’t say I love it. Other than that I think Heavenly Delusion has originality, endearing characters, good pacing, etc. And I hope it continues on this path for the second half of its air time. |

| I was expecting it to be some crazy monster in that underground bit, but it being a bear was probably a good thing in that sort of environment. Maru really is that easy to motivate... Kiruko also walking in at the wrong time wasn't great. The dream Tokio had seems quite strange, but it looked like a premonition. Wonder if next ep that doctor will confront her about the shoes, since it seems she isn't appearing on any of the cameras as well. |

It does not mean that the author endorse this behaviour and in fact, it's not exactly shown in a very good light. It also tells something else about Kiruko. She still has at this moment difficulties to accept her body as her's (I use "she" but could use "he" at his point), so she's kind of not yet protecting it as she should (I mean, probably not a single girl would have made such a promise). |

| Can already tell Author-san was feeling extra horny while drawing these chapters: Maru risking his life for some tits, him going rapey mode on Kiruko, that 13yo offering herself to strangers, the whole "I'm in" joke, the confirmation of Tokio and Kona doing the nasty and her getting pregnant because of it, etc. But well... still a somewhat interesting episode tho. Despite all the horniness, we still got some plot bits here and there such as Maru being able to use his power on some "humans" and that facility doctor finally targeting Tokio. And by the way, big facepalm moment at those people who didn't realize Tokio was a girl till this episode. |

| That bear man-eater sure liked to have some fun. Kiruko was certainly quick on her feet to blow off the pillar to make it collapse. This episode was super horny. Maru wanted to touch Kiruko's breast. The girl owner received the Maru touch. That Maru touch gave us a peak of his powers. It kind of reminded me of Emiya Shirou's magic circuit but even more lethal. I have a feeling that Maru's touch can kill man-eaters. And it looked like that girl owner has that red circle thingy inside her which made Maru let go of his hand. Then made her shriek. *Slowly proceeds to pin her down doggy style* |

I'm going to repeat what I wrote in another thread: The show is not "sexualizing" the characters. They are kids between 13 and 17 and of course you're interested in sex at this age. They are not shown in the nude or talking about sex to arouse the audience. This done every time to be meaningful. Damn, most people didn't even realize Tokyo was a girl before being shown naked. Talking about sexual topics and sexualizing are completely two different things. And this show is about the former, not the later. But to answer you, no. |

I'm talking about the hotel girl, the 13 years girl and the whole scene with her poses and the inside jokes, etc. even some people here were disappointed that a certain panel wasn't shown in the anime. that's what im asking about if anyone can understand me and my question and answer me id be grateful. |
| Pretty fuckin weird and uncomfortable episode. Ever since the genderbender stuff happened this show's decided to laser focus on the sexual desires of it's very underaged cast. It seems that's the direction the show's trying to head in, being an allegory for adolescence, though there are way more tactful and less fetishy ways of doing so than what's on display here. In a twisted way, the shock factor of this episode was entertainment enough for me, though I'm beginning to question whether I wanna stick along for the ride. There's still some good stuff, though. Maru and Kiruko's relationship is very much the hook of the series for me, and the bear management arc of this episode was great. |

I agree with you conceptually, though the problem is that the show isn't saying anything with how it chooses to represent sexuality. What does the scene with Maru and Totori say about either of the two? It's completely isolated from the rest of the episode, is deliberately titillating with it's use of camera angles and is of zero consequence to the development of either characters. Virtually every scene in this show that's remotely sexual could be trimmed and you wouldn't be missing anything of value or even notice that something's missing. As for it not sexualising the characters. I dunno, man. This stuff's been getting progressively more gratuitous with each episode. |

It does show that Maru has some moral concern about the age of the girl while she doesn't give a dam. Which tells you that in these world where civilization has collapsed, moral is basically a personal thing and vary from one individual to the other. We don't see enough of Totori after this but this scene had an important consequence to Maru. He understands that the Hiruko he can detect can have a human form. And he can make the difference between a Hiruko in human form compared to a Hiruko in man-eater one. It also shows that Hirukos are very drawn to sex, much more than other characters, and there's probably a reason for that which needs to be understood. I can't say more here without spoiling. Apart for this scene, what do we have so far: - A photograph of Mimihime taking a shower: it's used to show for once Shiro's strong emotional reaction toward her, while he's so stoic about the rest. It also shows that someone is manipulating the kids to develop sexuality (since we know they are not taught anything about that). - An image of Tokio in the nude: obviously necessary for half the readers to understand she was a girl all along. Besides, there's obviously something afoot with the kids' gender in general. - Two girls kissing : give me a break - Juichi touching Kiruko's breasts: for me, it shows that Juichi's experience in the female community has removed any sexual desire for woman, to the point he doesn't even realize that what he does is overboard. This scene was overdone in the anime (I didn't like the work of this director). That's basically it. We're talking about what, about 10s of animation, plus the Maru-Totori scene which lasts about 1mn over 11 episodes of 23 minutes. 1mn 10s out of 250mn. There's probably more sexual content in 60% of anime than in this. Sorry but no. I refute that this show is sexualizing kids. None of these scenes have the purpose to arouse the audience, but to tell something. And I disagree that they could be done differently. Change the way they're done and you don't express the same ideas and feeling anymore. You consider that trimming the scenes would not remove anything of value but that's only true for you because you don't want a show like this to have sexuality as a theme. Well it does and for good reasons. |
