| Damn Izuku is smart! He found a way to replicate OFA 100% without the risk of damaging his body… all while fighting for his life. I can see him slowly starting to come undone now though… he’s going to start buckling under the weight of everything that’s happened and all the responsibility on his shoulders. I like how Izuku’s outlook on life is changing in a very real way; he’s reached that point that a real teen gets to where you realise that the world isn’t as simple as you thought it was, that everything isn’t ‘black and white’ |

| Yep mostly true with Nagant. She really killed the husband of the previous chairman which actually the previous of the Public Safety Commission that really hold such a dark side history on that era. At the end, when Deku manage to effectively control the OfA quirks power unification, he can create a more efficient finishing blow than just the raw OfA quirk strength power. Which honestly rather satisfy to see, since its also include a newly unlocked quirk from the previous user. I expect to see the last one coming from this season, but yeah, keep it low, boy, and you'll get things done with the main boss, AfO... A little mention about Chisaki. I see he's still as cocky as before. After being saved, he clearly not see the light and even called Deku as the sick one even though he sure was the one that sick xd. Hopefully with Deku rang Eri's name makes Overhaul comes to realization instead of just being an ignorant. Wish Nagant survive tho, she deserve a more screentime that just that, to substitute the end of Midnight sexiness... |

| MHA fights are absolutely horrible and this was another example. Characters stopping fighting to talk has been a staple of anime but MHA takes it to another level. Say what you want about Dbz and its pacing but when it came down to fight, the characters fought and they didn't talk as they were fighting unlike in MHA where there is constant talking, exposition, flashbacks and explaination of his strategy after every single move. Character throws a punch, backstory, character throws a kick, flashback, character jumps, exposition. It's to the point MHA doesn't have fight scenes, it has exposition scenes. I get explaining some things including dekus strategy but he explains the most basic maneuvers and it was a constant thing throughout the episode. I don't like to compare but I look at jjk and even chainsaw man where the fights are actual fights and characters aren't constantly talking or having inner monologue but there's still enough that we understand what's going through their heads and it's a good balance. Anyway, at the end of the fight with Nagant we find out she wasn't trying to hurt deku and her heart wasn't in it so yet another fight with no stakes |
| I had suspected that Hawk had been ordered to kill others too -including heroes- but this episode confirmed it. There was no need to tell it to us explicitly, the fact that he was Lady Nagant's replacement said it all... If the hero society is to be revived in some form above all the "safety" commission, which recruits kids as heroes and turns them into assassins, needs to be dismantled. There is no point of it now anyway, since the lines between heroes and villains have been blurred. It's no longer "black & white". It never was but that was now made clear. Deifying heroes as supposedly morally spotless and uncorruptible ubermen is partly what led to the current mess. The dark side of certain heroes (like Endeavor and Hawk) was already exposed; there is no going back from that. So farewell Public Safety Commission. You were never needed anyway... p.s. I cannot see how Nagant could possibly survive being blown up from the inside but 2-D characters do not really have "insides" do they? :) |

| Finally a good episode again, though Nagant got wasted quite fast. Most filler characters don't get such a treatment, one fight and she's down lol |
| One of my favourite episodes so far. Say what you want about a shonen MC's talkative habit aka talk-no-jutsu, it's endearing to see them not killing their enemy when they are able to do so. As long as both parties walk out alive, isn't it a win-win situation? I love it. Especially when the villain has his reasons for his actions. |

| That was an astounding episode. Astounding. Lady Nagant alone explains so much about the world of MHA. Why did noone stop Endeavour from hurting his family? The safety commission must have known, but decided that Endeavour was worth more than the rest of the Todorokis combined. How come every hero is unambiguously heroic? All the bad ones get disappeared behind the scenes. Why did the commision put so much effort into finding Hawks and training him? Because that's the kind of stealthy, loyal, flexible tool they need for these assassinations. They couldn't just pick a rando from the hero schools. They needed a hand-reared soldier. Horikoshi does this sometimes with his worldbuilding. He introduces a concept but it's not complete. Then he reveals something a way down the track that fills in the holes and creates depth like nothing else. But I can never quite tell whether he had it all thought out from the beginning or if he's just really good at retcons |

| Mid-oriya saving Eri's abuser and Hawks' mentor at once, heroes helping villains (with talk no jutsu) again. From corporate assassin with a double life, to rebel, to smoked ham. Lady fell hard. Dekuman, at last, can see the world's shades of grey. |

| Deku instantly utilizing the 3rd wielders quirk to outmaneuver Lady Nagant was nutso cool. She was the safety commissions secret weapon and killed a lot of folks to keep the heroes reputation nice and pristine. What a shame that All For One eliminated her before she was able to become Deku's ally. |
