When you literally turn the first episode into a remake of Utena scene by scene, it's not just a homage anymore. | This was so refreshing to watch. Really love the sci-fi atmosphere and setting of the school. Technologically advance stuff right there. And the gundam duel with Suletta Mercury vs Guel Jeturk was pretty epic. The Aerial model looks amazing. Can't wait to watch more Gundam! Studio Sunrise never disappoint with their mecha shows. |

| I dont recall to have ever seen some yuri previously in Gundam, but Sunrise have baited hard on it before with their idol stuff... I like yuri so I will remain optmistic about it for now, having a female lead feels refreshing and this is a good follow since the prologue. But I gotta wonder, where is her mother at? No mention of a death, so she will probably appear later on... |

| First Gundam i've watched since Wing was airing on Toonami, pretty good so far. The lasers are cool, blonde guy is cute (shad, or whatever his name is), and honestly i don't care if the girls are gay or not as long as i get to see giant robots kicking each others asses and blowing shit up. That's what i'm here for. Not sure how i feel about Suletta as an mc or the school setting, but Miorine is cool. Headbutt was 10/10. |

| Aside from the quick few clicks onto a 'phone' for mobile suit pilot access take over, the start was pretty fun. The music and bgm is hella on point! |
| That was awesome! When they announced this was going to have a FeMC I wasnt expecting it to also be yuri bait. I definitely approve though! Funny how they react to something basic like a shield but not the flying lasers. I was hoping our MC would be confident while piloting the Gundam while shy outside of it, makes for a nice character dynamic. And yeah I could see the engagement coming when she said "take responsibility" PS: Is the Gundam canonically coloured after the french flag now? PPS: I have seena lot of scifi but I still love Gundams take on space colonies the most. Its like a ringworld design but at a practical size. Absolutely love the design |

| Loved that first episode. The Utena inspiration is obvious but I like the idea of having an SF with giants robots retelling of Utena. I don't know a lot about Gundam except that it has giant robot and that it can be pretty heavy in therms of thematic around war, corporation and politics, so if that anime manage to mix well those two aspect, the thematic from both show, the result could be very good I hope we'll see Sureta turn into a car and do a race against a giant monster truck castle in space |
