I loved this first episode. The animation was beautiful and the story was pacing was good as well. I'm looking for the rest of Bleach TYBW.

Bleach is back! I have been waiting for 3 years, and the first ep is amazing! This season will be one of the must watch in the future.

Such a shame this got leaked a day earlier but let's leave it right there.

With the return of hype machine Bleach, monday's the day to look forward to. Gang making their return and that number one soundtrack in the background was the best ever way to kick off after a decade. Props to people who waited this long lol.

Liked the pacing they going with, though I really have to check back the manga to make an estimate where they'll conclude this first cour on. The "modernized" visuals really showing it's been a decade after all.

Next episode will bring in hell.. hope somebody leaks it again lol.

Damn we eating good this season. Also I'm not complaining but ITS weird to see a lot happen in 1 episode of Bleach.
Monster of the week trope is a sign inability of the author to write a good plot so they introduce random ass villain to distract viewer with action.

My English is not good.

HOLY FUCK DUDE!!!! That is how you bring back an anime!!! Damnnnn

I never expected Pierrot to pull out such a fire first episode. This was crazy, seeing the gang all together fighting hollows on the roof, ichigo's entrance, the ost blaring in the background. Incredible all around. Loved the little AMV style ending too.

I have a feeling this is gonna be way better than anyone expected.

They're back!

A very solid first episode, but I really wish these episodes were 40 minutes long instead. 20 minutes goes by way too quickly.

Some notes:

  • This is probably the best animation we've seen for Bleach. Obviously everyone's been spoiled to death by the likes of WIT STUDIO and Ufotable, but you can really tell that Studio Pierrot has gone all out with this and it shows.
  • It was so nice to see all of these voice actors reprising their roles again after so many years. And Yamamoto's new voice actor nails it too, sounds exactly like Masaaki Tsukada.
  • Some might complain that the pacing was too fast, but if you have read the manga, you would know that this was more or less exactly how it went down. I think there was maybe a little bit more exposition in the manga but I think saving that for later to show us Ichigo and co. fighting instead was a much better start for the series than 15 minutes of exposition.
  • Very excited to see all of my favorite characters on screen again. Especially looking forward to Byakuya and Rukia.
  • Soundtrack is still as good as it ever was.
  • Thank you Tite Kubo and Studio Pierrot for making the 2020s more bearable.

BAN.........................KAI Ah it's back, Production quality was top notch. The OST had me hyped up throughout the episode.
(Bleach anime return, reading One Piece rn & whole Naruto 20th annieversary visuals, Oh man I'm having my Big 3 moment currently.)

Amazing episode 1! I love the use of colors, the animation, the ambientation, the music, all! Episode felt like it lasted 5 minutes, I wan't more!

Yamamoto's reply saying that he was the best security was very cool xD.

Now that Dragon Quest Dai ends, this begins. Awesome productions.
These are great times for anime, one does not spend a moment of boredom.

After the epic battle ,It was a great start for bleach and The ending was amazing , the opening ,ost, ending it was perfect.
One thing that was odd that it was too fast compared to manga , it is also understandable as bleach had soo many fillers so the people tried to make it fast and op.
In the end it was a great experience hope 2nd ep also does the same...

This is everything we could have asked for, Bleach is back and it's better than ever. The animation, the music, the voice acting it all hits. 10 long years and I couldn't be happier. This is gonna be a great ride I can already tell.

Amazing Visuals and ED i love it how ichigo orihime chad and ishida are coming back in this way to safe someone.
I really miss this and the new enemy is showing us how great this arc is gonna be.

Bleach was always the cool kid among the big 3... despite its flaws, it never lost the coolness.
And similarly, it made an awesome comeback after 10 years with this cool and awesome episode. Loved it.
