Yeah the ending was great, and the confidence and healthy look of Pierre's daughter's eyes looking at him was heartwarming. Hopefully other members from Veron's guild will realize that if they adopt the medicines and attitudes of Farma's pharmacy they will be more successful and they can all coexist.

Man I felt so good for Pierre and his family. Farma came clutch at the end with the guild partnership proposal. I hope some of the other guild members also learn from this

The lack of details in the anime is probably the worst part of the episode. The manga (Chapter 17) went over the details and the terms of Farma's Compounding Pharmacy/Dispensary Guild. Guild membership is free, formulas are taught, education and training is free (complex medicines require regular educational courses) and supply is sold at low cost. It's essentially a business franchise agreement with the terms largely benefiting the franchisee.

Still an enjoyable episode though.

Thank you for bringing the missing piece of the episode. I was wondering where the heck is Farma's guild policy & terms. The anime might explain it on next episode, but waiting a week for that is a bit too long of uncertainty. I'm not a big fan of waiting stuffs.

Not the best episode in my book. But, still pretty damn good episode with that POV change.

This episode makes everything make much more sense, and why Veron has such a grudge against Nobles, burying your own child because you couldn't afford the medicine you needed. No parent should have to go through that pain. But their scare tactics and destroying fellow pharmacies and revoking their license to operate regardless is not acceptable. I really hope Farma opens some kind of school or sets up a standard practice for all pharmacies to operate under.

Really enjoyed the story focusing on Pierre here, it definitely had depressing moments but once he brought his daughter to Farma and saw his practices it opened his eyes, it’s also interesting to know that in the manga Pierre’s daughter was given a suppository lol, I can definitely see why they wouldn’t include that, we also missed out on a funny reaction from Pierre because of it.

And it seemed dire when Pierre was kicked out of the guild and his shop was trashed, but Farma quickly came in and gave Pierre an offer to join his new guild, to which we get an incredibly wholesome ending where Pierre is given support by his daughter and opens his door to a crowd of people waiting to enter his new pharmacy, very nice indeed, this is one of my favorite episodes so far and it wasn’t even really from Farma’s POV lol.

Also this is off topic but it’s funny how the crunchyroll comment section sparked political debates and mask debates from this episode lol, nice after episode entertainment.

I thought this episode was pretty good overall, it really showed that his pharmacy truly cares about the rich and poor and shows the gild that currently exists is too arrogant about changing their practices to fit what Falma's standards are. Can't Wait for next episode!

The last couple episodes were starting to get a little bit dull, which is understandable since the male lead is a super OP individual. It is hard to play character growth when there is no weakness to target in the first place. It was nice exploring some other characters in this world.

I love Pierre and I think the anime did a pretty good job in character development in the short span of an episode. My heart honestly felt so soft at the end when he was so worried about opening up Dawn Pharm but a lot of people ended up coming to his shop.

I'm really curious if they will build up some more on Veron's character. It seems that on first impression, he is a money greedy, power trip individual -- but we got to see that he has some backstory trauma regarding a time when he was poor and was unable to get medical care for his kid because of it. I think after mourning the death of your own child due to the discrepancy of healthcare between the poor and wealthy, anyone would become greedy for money not just for materialistic reasons, but because you are aware that is how the world runs -- the more money you have, the better your chances of survival.

Really loved this episode, it was pretty obvious that Farma would help Pierre out in the end, but it was so satisfying seeing him so happy opening his new pharmacy, it actually brought tears to my eyes.

If there's one thing that causes drama in this show, it's about the standards between the common and upper class. Seriously, can't everyone just get along..?

Falma stands as the line that blurs between their status. Good episode though. He's still out there helping the helpless whenever someone needs.

There was a reason why the French Revolution took place, in the real world, is because "the standards between the common and upper class" caused some major dissatisfaction among commoners. If the real world King Louis XVI had a "Falma" in his time, a medical savoir who helped the commoners by selling cheap medicine, the French Revolution probably wouldn't happen. An ideal country, where "Everyone is united for the common good," will probably never exist in the realistic sense.

Anyway, so the Fat guild-master was responsible for the carriage incident, surprised he isn't executed yet; I expect Karma to hit the fat guy soon. Typical Isekai business tactics where you expect some form of Violence take place to attack your competitors. Expect the fat guild master to find hitman, or any sort of criminal organizations, to assassinate Falma.

For the commoner pharmacist (Pierre), I question why his shop was literally destroyed. When you are excommunicated from the pharmacy guild, what happens is that your shop license is revoked and you are not allowed to sell medicine. So destruction on property isn't supposed to happen. My guess, the fat guild master, and his buddies, casually just sent thugs to vandalize the said store for cheap harassment purposes since, while they can't outright do vandalism on Falma (a noble), vandalism on a commoner is a different story. I am actually surprised that Pierre's wife and daughter weren't harmed; it wouldn't surprise me that, along with vandalism, the fat guild master would come to rape Pierre's wife and daughter for NTR purposes.

I suggest you give Honzuki (Ascendance of a Bookworm) a shot. It has the less OP MC version and the concept is done better in my opinion.

Man, this episode was emotionally driven, huh?

Pierre did nothing wrong at all, as he did the right thing in seeking out Farma's help in helping with his daughter's condition, even if it went against his guild's rules. That's why I applaud him for having the bravery for defending Farma at his guild's meeting, saying that the other members would learn better if they studied how their rivals did things rather than sticking stubbornly to an outdated model which doesn't offer a guarantee in helping a patient to recover.

This infuriated the guild master, sadly. While having to bury his own child due to his past experiences with not getting the help he needed was tragic, it doesn't excuse his venomous hatred towards anyone who has noble status. Not only did he expel Pierre from his guild and ripped his license, but his own shop got destroyed. Thankfully, Farma happened to walk on by and saw what happened and, after hearing Pierre's side of the story, he offered him a place in his own guild, giving Pierre a second chance.

The grand re-opening of his shop was a success and deservedly so. He can continue to do what he loves while being able to sell the products that Farma also sells, which probably was one of the beneficial upsides of being part of Farma's guild. I do wish we got a little more insight into the details of what Pierre has gained from joining Farma's guild, but aside from that, I'm still happy with how the episode ended on a very happy note for him and his family. =)

This show us SOO damn good, it should be more appreciated and rated better. This episode was SOO good, and the emotional weight of the situation with the pharmacist, hus family, their actual REAL feeling conversation about their situation and financial troubles was SOO good.

A lot of times those scenes in anime have zero weight to them and the VAs could just as easily be talking about what to eat for dinner. I knew I'd like this show but I thought it would just be a halfway decent seasonal Isekai but I really love it and am blown away by how good some things are. And the way he helped that guy and brought him into the guild was great, even though I knew it would happen, I still was hoping for it and so happy when it happened.

Oh and also I REALLY liked how they added character depth to the shitty guildmaster. I figured he'd just be a generic bad guy, especially in the beginning when he first showed up twirling his mustache. But to know he's this way because he lost his kid and the nobles wouldn't help and that's why he hates them adds a lot to the situation. I think he'll eventually come around and some if not all of the guild members will come over. I wonder who will be his enemies then.

I wonder if Falma will have some big Covid level or worse disease that is killing a ton of people and it's something he had no experience with. I think that could be a really good arc, and provide some really emotional weight and drama. Especially when you pile on his situation with his sister and not being able to heal her, and now he's got this disease he doesn't know how to handle before he eventually figures it out(hopefully after at least a few episodes and it's not just easily solved).

Oh No I just read there are only 8 Volumes 😭. Anyone know how many they'll be done with by episode 12 roughly?

I think the real star of this episode was the other pharmacist getting ousted and really driving Falma to invite his first partner into the guild. =) The foreshadowing was pretty obvious but seeing how bitter the guildmaster was and the pharmacist shop ruined was an emotional roller coaster with an amazing buildup and satisfying ending. xD
