such an amazing final episode, really packed everything up together and showed how far we've come since the beginning. sad to see the big brother go but now we have new people like shiori and even that baby, time goes and by and i cant wait to see where we'll go from here and how they'll all grow up. seeing ren-chon in middle school would be really interesting and i hope we do get to that point, also i guess the big brother really was mute. overall this definitely the best season of non non biyori so far and i thoroughly enjoyed it, 7/10.

Emotional finale.

Overall, a very good season, but Repeat will be always the peak imo.

I don't know, maybe something's wrong with me but I didn't feel anything with this episode. It ended exactly as I thought it would and it still seemed to go out on a whimper. The Shiori character felt like a wet noodle, tacked on with not enough time over the course of the season to develop her so I just didn't care about her. I feel a bit bad saying this, but it was the weakest episode of the season for me.

Everyone is growing up, some of them moving on. A new generation started and things have begun to change.

This felt like the ultimate ending, to which I hope I was wrong. After all, no amount of Non Non Biyori is too much Non Non Biyori.

Edit: so it really is the ultimate ending. I'm gonna miss this.

I'm going to miss this uplifting OP as well.
This episode give me "The Circle of life" feeling. When one door closes another one(opportunity) opens.
nii-chan aka Glasses-kun will be missed even though he has never spoken a word xD

Wow, this was a satisfying ride for sure!

I think Non Non Biyori is one of those SoL anime that really gets better as the episodes go on, and this season proved that imo. It makes me want to go back to my childhood again, no kidding! Best season so far

7/10 for season 1 and 2, 8/10 for the movie and this season

Can't believe the season is completed. So relaxing relaxing, just want the episodic nature goes on forever but all good things must come to an end. Hopefully there are enough content for a 4th season. Still no lines from Suguru. Also the Nyanpasu at the end. The word that started the series and the same word the end the series.

And with that, Non Non Biyori comes to an end. Honestly, though, while this third season definitely maintained some of the charm of its predecessors - most notably last week's episode with Kaede and baby Renge - I can't say I loved it anywhere near as much as the previous two. I think part of that is that the new additions - Shiori and Akane - didn't feel to me like they added all that much to the established dynamics and I honestly didn't care all that much about either of them (besides thinking that it was nice for Renge to have someone closer to her age to play with). Honestly, even most of the established dynamics felt slightly stale by this point, and I think a third season may have just been one bridge too far for this series. And they still didn't let the big brother speak, not even during his own graduation.

All that being said, this was still an enjoyable ride and a nice goodbye for one of the better series in the slice-of-life genre. I'll definitely miss the nyanpasu, that's for sure.

When is Season 4?

NNB is the epitome of the Slice of Life genre.

I feel the need to keep making these until Renge graduates College at least. So that’s about 18 seasons. So 14 seasons left to make?

I had my hopes up for Suguru to FINALLY say something, anything at all, but alas, he kept to his character and said nothing during his graduation. XD

The final episode of Non Non Biyori Nonstop reminds us as to why this series as a whole is special. Just seeing Suguru graduate gave me that nostalgic feeling of my own graduation from school which now feels like a long time ago, but at the same time, it's still fresh in my memories like it happened yesterday.

It also a nice touch to have this episode end on the same path where season 1 episode 1 started at, which was a very nice touch. Renge was absolutely correct in saying that the route to school every day isn't always going to be the same journey.

Overall, this 3rd season felt like a proper goodbye to Non Non Biyori as a whole, which does make a chance of a 4th season incredibly unlikely. Despite that, this 3rd season, for me, is probably one of the best we've had of this series overall, with plenty of funny and emotional moments, Natsumi getting some excellent screentime and character development and the addition of Shiori and Akane to the main cast that we all know and love which made the show feel more complete and at least gave more focus to other characters outside the main four.

9/10 for this 3rd season and, maybe one day, we all can say a "Nyanpasu!" to another season or even an OVA. =P

Pretty emotional ending. A bit surprising that it would come from wholesome show like NNB. Really enjoy the last episode, also in the other hand, I feel sad because the manga itself had ended. It's ok to hope to get another season. Gonna miss them all for sure.

PS: the nii-chan moment when he played piano for his graduation song was a LOL.

I both love and makes me pretty sad when we get to see the passage of time on this kind of shows, it was amazing as always and probably my favorite season, Aka-chan and Shiori were fun additions, we also got a new beginning and some closure with Ren-chon and her friend.

Season 2 was the high point for this series, I found S3 very lacking in comparison. Most of the humor in this season wasn't funny and the emotional beats didn't resonate. I feel like this season was compiled from the leftovers from the manga after season 1&2 had used up all the good stuff. Renge and Natsumi's personalities seemed to be a bit more exaggerated and cartoonish this time around and the focus on other characters outside the main group detracted from my enjoyment.

One of the most satisfying ends to a CGDCT show, not as emotional as Azumanga, but a satisfying end. These characters won't be separating much, as they haven't moved far away like Hika-nee, but, they are growing up, and things won't be the same.

I felt the same way. After the long break since season 2 I thought they would be pulling out the biggest and the best stories that had happened over the last 6 years but most of these were pretty bland to me. Only the camping segment and episode 9 I thought lived up to the previous season's adventures. The rest were so-so. The continued focus on the two new characters just left me wanting more scenes with the MCs instead.

Can't believe the season is over already! For something called Nonstop, I wish it was. I absolutely loved this season, a great continuation of one of the first SoL's that originally got me into the genre. There's just something so nice about the calm country setting and having a really strong cast definitely helps. I really enjoyed the addition of Aka-chan, and it was super nice seeing Renge having more friends her own age (and she finally got to say goodbye to that one girl!).

I hope this isn't the end for the anime seeing as there isn't anything left for the manga, but I guess all good things have to come to an end. If so, this episode was a super fitting finale. But I'd still want a S4 or OVA. Heck, another movie. Better yet 10 more seasons and really make it nonstop, it's just that good.

Three seasons already *sobs*. Great episode, graduations followed by a slight time skip when everyone is now in their next year in school. I'm gonna miss this show once again! :'( Hope an OVA will show up at some stage, but if it's like a lot of people said where there's not much material left in the manga to adapt another season, then it's an official goodbye to the franchise. Gonna miss all these Sundays waiting for a new episode.

I found much the same. I binged S1 and S2 recently and found myself just not particularly grokking with S3. It felt like everything was a remix of a previous moment, and every comedy/sad moment that felt like it should have landed on paper ended up being a swing and a miss for me. I assume the change of composer subconsciously contributed to this.

Also, waaaaay too much focus on side characters. The side characters like Hikage and Konomi work well when they pop in and bounce off the main cast, but we really don't need them being there every other episode, particularly when the main cast are barely getting enough focus as is. Konomi straight up felt like the perspective character in the fi so episode, which is baffling considering every other season that’s been Hotoru.

Bawled so hard after hearing Renge's quote "It's not the same route every day. When it's rainy or cloudy, it's a little different. That's what's fun." It hit me like a truck. I have been so bored with my life for as long as I can remember, dragging my sorry ass to work every day. Just work my ass off to pay the bills, with no friends to hang out with. Plus this pandemic made it even harder to go out. I'm sad that I can no longer watch new episodes every week, but also thankful for this wonderful experience. Definitely one of my favorite series in the last 10 years.

I really love Shiori (love her VA too).
I miss the photograph at the end of each episode but a picture of the school was nice.
As Renge said they should thank Suguru she paused on front of him and in my head I thought she was going to say "arigatou onii-chan" (but she didn't). it was still wonderful to hear Hotaru say "onii-san".

As the title of this season, I want Non Non Biyori Nonstop. This show has grown to me so much. In times of joy, partings and new beginnings, it has been there all the time. The characters have grown so much from Natsumi's playfullnes, Konomi's worries, Ren-chon's growth and the characters new bonding, it has been long. Hope they carry on the journey in years to come. Till then Yabure Kabure Nyanpasu~

Its about time nnb get out of the repeated previous wholesome loop. The oldest one got out. The unspokeable glasses onii-chan kept calm and silence, even at those sacred moment. I can't help but laugh when Natt-chan said 'he's playing his own graduation song' line. Omg. Why you always like that, even at those supposed to be a sentimental time? XD.

In the later scene, Akane also met the other gang. The first met with Hikage surely hype. Then, the way they played along together, as a big party. Hell, its about time to say sayonara, eh?

Shiori entered the missing slot. Her baby sister also born safely. More slot for the future member. But, the end already sealed. Like Ren-chon wise words, even though its always the same daily countryside lifes. The path of it always different every day everytimes. So, yeah, always have a fun with that!

Gonna miss you all, nnb gang....

Everyone thanking Suguru-oniisan was so sweet but it seems the wholesomeness wasn't enough for him to finally say a word xD

Ah~ Suguru graduated from middle-school; Shiori became a big sister with Kasumi's birth; Konomi started college and Renge became a senpai now that Shiori started elementary school. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better way to conclude NNB's most likely final season. Everything was so perfect ♥

So... what else can I say about this season? Easily on par with Repeat and even superior given this one featured real plot progression. I watched every episode with a smile on my face, Akane and Shiori were fantastic additions, Honoka returning so that Renge could say goodbye properly was a precious detail and the way in how it all concluded with the "new" gang walking the same path to school as in season 1's first episode was simply brilliant. In the end, it really felt like a cycle was finally completed, huh?

9,5/10 -> 9/10 - Seriously wish Non Non Biyori were nonstop.

Such a touching scene with the tiny graduation ceremony, did the teacher decorate everything on her own? On a sidenote the village is slowly in decline and it gave the scene some bitter taste, since I really like this style of tutoring.

Too bad, I had expected Suguru to drop a cool line in the end, great that he could graduate without talking, I actually think it was mean that they made him a blank paper forever, but girls are cuter apparently, no need for talking males.

Never expected someone would give birth in Non Non Biyori, but the girls only lead her to a taxi instead of having to assist.

I didn't really care for the new characters introduced into this season, but they didn't make the story bad, so it's all right. I enjoyed this season a lot, many funny and heartwarming episodes. Now I am totally sad that it is over

What a great end to the season! My heart!
Seeing baby Kasumi and Shiori joining the school really rounded everything off! It was nice to see a brief look at all the characters, in some capacity as well!

We finish with Renge, as always, having a positive outlook on everything!
(we also saw a brief return of nyanpasu!)

Another great season of NNB, I'm not sure if there's going to be more, but you know that if there is I'll be there to see it!

Last episode was good but doesn't make up for the average season. Season 1 and 2 were masterpieces for me and here I am, hugely disappointed by this third season. Because I have objectivity, and don't put a 10 just because I love the franchise. I don't know if it was more rushed because of covid but it felt like they didn't have enough content to fil half of the episodes. The animation was lacking sometimes and some faces were oddly drawn. I was always fond of the relaxing feeling, slow pacing and beautiful backgrounds but there is relaxing and there is annoying. Sometimes they let us hanging on an image of the sky or a character unmoving face for so long that I thought someone had paused the episode. Some scenes (Natsumi, Renge and her sister playing in the snow) were so boring... It was one of my most awaited anime of the season and I'm sad it's ending (probably forever) like this.

It's been 6 years since the last season and I secretly didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did in S1 and S2, I thought maybe I have grown out of my 2015 self and NNB wouldn't feel as good as it was back then.

I'm glad to be proven wrong. Such a legendary show that deserves a mention in 2010s anime history. 8-9/10

A great end to a series I immensely enjoyed, if it is the actual end. The paused moments that held on a scene for 2 sec longer than you expected, the times you could relate to the carefree liberties of youth and the shared wisdoms and experiences you learned from all the stages of life represented in the show. The human experience.
Plus that POV of Renge in the final scene where the same route isn't actually the same day to day ... thank you all who made this series.

I was kinda waiting for Glasses-kun to give a speech for the final episode, but guess not, unfortunately.
I heard this might be the final episode (not counting and OVA or two) because of the manga ending, which is very sad, but if the author feels done with it, then that's fine.
I do wish we had more year covered and not just one for three seasons. Would have been good to see more developments like Shiori becoming a kouhai of Renge.

On that point, I liked both new additions to the cast, although I would have kinda preferred them taking less screen time, especially Shiori. She was cute but Honoka was better for example. Akane was also quite nice, and I'm mostly grateful for her cause it meant seeing more of Konomi as well, who I like a lot.
I still like Hotaru the least. She is fine but nowhere near as fun as anyone else really, even from the secondary cast like Candy Store, Hikage and Konomi. I'm happy they also appeared much more than previous times, always only appearing near the end or something.

The anime is still just as good as before, I always keep smiling through it all. Wholesome and soothing just as much as it is hilarious. Giving this my rare score of 10/10 like the previous seasons. I hope to see more in the future, but if we don't, that's okay too.

I can't even explain what I like about this anime - maybe it's the setting or the characters- Idk, I just love it. Hoping for a S4, but I don't think there will be. Goodbye, Non Non Biyori....

Starting watching this anime last week because I was looking for something to watch and Non Non Biyori just completed a new season. And immediately I already knew I was going to love this anime when I saw the first scene with Renge playing the recorder while walking to school.

Now after watching three seasons and a movie, I can say I pretty much love every single moment of this anime. I thought I have seen all the best SOL but damn, I think this might have topped all of them especially in terms of wholesomeness. If there are any other anime that can rival this. Please let me know.
