| So Ram’s alive somehow. Maybe Rosewal did the duplicating soul spell or it was just cop-out healing. I still do not care about Beatrice. This season has not changed that, so I didn’t really care about Subaru trying to save her by spouting corny line after corny line. |

| Thats pretty high praise coming from Puck though. But Roswaal's skill at magic certainly was impressive. But this tragic battle provided an interesting opportunity to see Roswaal's human side and the fragility that lay there when cut off from his book. That was quite the speech that Emilia gave though. Betty's last moment with her mother sure was a sad and traumatic one. But it was nice seeing Betty's past at the mansion after taking on her role as was the insight into her turbulent emotions on meeting Subaru. Subaru's speech to rescue Beatrice sure was a grand and heartfelt one. The escape from the mansion and the sudden arrival at sanctuary to reinforce Emilia really was flawless in execution. Overall a fantastic ep as always that combined excellent tension with emotion. Can't wait to see how it ends next week. |

| Beatrice's first monologue was so cool, but also sad. Now that Emilia has managed to liberate the sanctuary, and Subaru has managed to liberate Beatrice from her denial and forsaken hope in the library, I wonder how they are going to tackle the fight with The Great Rabbit in the season finale. Subaru has already managed to eliminate one of Daphne's great mabeasts, The White Whale, so I wonder how he will fair in his second mabeast battle. |

| Betty is saved after a beautiful scene and Subaru crowns himself as best boy once again. We are at the climax of the arc and next episode they will fight against the killer rabbits. I do hope for an amazing arc closure either way. Only one episode left tho :( |

| Re.Zero proving again why its the best Isseki. Its absolutely miles ahead in terms of writing and White Fox have done a fantastic job adapting the LN. One question though, what's Roswaals plan in all this or are we not supposed to know yet? He's kind of a bad guy but kind of no at the same time. |

| I'm glad Subaru was able to save Beatrice, seeing her crying made me really sad. She had been waiting for someone to save her for a really long time. |
