| Ngl I decided to try watching this because it's made by Studio Bones (my favorite studio) and the MC reminds me of Lavi from D. Gray Man, but wow the animation surpassed my expectations. Very clean art style and watching them skateboard is fun. Reki is exactly how I pictured him to be but Langa threw me off, I thought he was gonna be snarky and arrogant but I was far off. I cracked up when he used his hands at the beginning of the race. But man Shadow pisses me off, he's your stereotypical bad guy who's fucked up just because. So annoying. I hope he doesn't make a lot of appearances in the future. It was entertaining enough, but I honestly don't have high expectations for the story...hope I could be proven wrong in the next few episodes. |

| Extremely stupid, but so much fun. The character designs and surely the "villains" are completely over the top. The animation was rad as hell as well. Pretty cool to see a Canadian transfer student. Idk if I've ever seen an another anime to feature one. The preview about "sorry" and "pountine" was a good meme. |

| not bad. Animation is on point as expected of bones. The tricks were really well done. Idk about a mysterious "underground" mountain where cosplayers (shadow) skate and do extreme bets but I guess it works if it's an anime. A little stereotypical though because I've never seen a skater dress as over the top as reki. Snowboarding is nothing like skateboarding but as the dude said "its vaguely similar" so okay. Also I have no idea how his board isn't broken considering how high his jumps were especially at the last stage and if the board is in repair lol. also, idk how he is not losing balance because there is no way that his board is still going straight ahead if he's leaning that much unless the trucks are really tight. It's kinda like initial d where of course it's fiction but it's still kinda based on real things so yeah overall it's good. |

| wtf I’m actually really surprised on the quality of this show. the art, the animation the voice acting all exceeded my expectations. and god damn is the music good. as someone with skateboarding experience I found the comedic bits about Langa riding the board for the first time actually relatable and funny. the ED is great and couldn’t help but imagine all the times i also wiped out skating. this is a watch for me 100% |
| I know nothing about skateboarding but yo this had me hyped from beginning to end. Winter 2021 anime are really serving this season! The animation and action in this anime is impressive, as expected by studio bones. Love the art and colour palette as well. And wow our eyes are really getting treated this season. It has my 100% attention *cough* ikemen *cough* Will definitely keep watching! |
| Wow! Sugoi! This is really fascinating! OP & ED are both bop! Langa, a snowboarder who is new to the field of skateboarding, is actually more interesting than Reki. lol. That flip inhe end is really cool and awesome! Langa and Reki are completely opposite, but their friendship looks fun. Looking forward to more skateboarding matches.  |

| This is an offense for those who like Skate! Just to start, the aesthetic doesn't match Skate, most of the characters are "cute" and they don't even seem to be Skateboarders, seriously, whoever is doing this anime literally doesn't even know what Skate is right ... I'm just going to watch this, because it's the first Skate anime. But I guarantee that it will be something bad, just for what I mentioned above, already shows how much who is doing this anime, is very impotent. |

| Better than I was expecting. It is very over-the-top, but it compliments it with some good art and great animation. The characters seem pretty straightforward, although I do like the whole “living double lives” thing because it add to the over-the-top nature of the anime. Looks like this will be some good fun. |

| Damn holy shit, I did not expect it to be this good. Cause that was dope. I already like the main characters especially Langa. I thought at first he'd be a serious emo-esque character but, he's actually a cool ass dude. OP and ED were great too, out of all the new shows that came out this season, so far this is one of the shows that really got my attention. |

"it's because I suck" ?? dude he threw firecrackers under your skateboard. how is this "anything goes" shit supposed to prove you're good at skateboarding? maybe reki should've just yanked dude's cape to make him fall. |
| Man, probably my favorite premier of the season. Dumb fun is something i very much love, and the animation is probably the best of the whole season as im a sucker for great 2D and 3D integrations. Bones truly never fails. |

| I mean, snowboarding and skateboarding is similar, but there are some pretty harsh differences that would kick your butt pretty hard if you tried to switch on the fly like that. (With one you can literally turn on a razors edge while the other one has the limit of wheels.) |

| Yo, I really enjoyed this episode! I've been looking forward to this series for a while now and it looks like it won't disappoint. The pacing is great and so is the animation. Really digging the skating choreography and I feel like the use of CGI is taste full and now too distracting which is always a plus. |

| It's cool to finally have a sports anime centered around skateboarding, and what a first impression this one made. This was much better than I expected it to be. I'm just curious about what exactly the "plot" will focus on and what the end goal of the story will be, but hopefully the rest of the season is as strong as the premiere. Also, that ED is one of those feel-good, relaxing songs that just puts you in a good mood, I really liked it. |

| This was so enjoyable much better than Skate leading. Skating choreography is smooth too and the OP is so good, it reminded me of Taisou Zamurai. At first I thought Langa would have that “easily irritated” personality but actually he's the dumb type with stupid funny reactions XD But damn Langa was so good and that was his first try...so is he a professional Snowboarder? |

| Pretty entertaining, i didn't like the characters that much but goddamn the visuals was so fucking good, great art and the skating choreography was so amazing, Bones did a great a job again. The premise was interesting, i haven't seen any skateboarding anime this is my first. Op and Ed is also top notch. This is looking to be one of the coolest or maybe the coolest anime this season. |

| I knew this anime wasn't going to just be about street or vert, and they were going to add some dumbass element to it.. but I still like this dumbass element! It's a whole ton better than whatever the hell they're doing with another sports anime that's airing this season (Skate Leading Stars), so I'm happy with it. Loving the character designs, music, and art. As a skater, I pray for the day we get an anime that is about realistic skating, but until that day comes, I will be watching SK8 to fill the void >:D |
| Damn, I like what I see! Good lord, that sequence of Langa showing off his snowboarding skills was out of this world. Bones, hats off to ye! To be honest, prior to that, I was indifferent to the episode for the most bit. A couple of comedic moments made me smile a little but that was about it. Op seemed pretty cool though but by the time the ED came around, I was a lot more interested lol. |

| the fact that that one dude said he got his board "tuned by a pro" says enough about how much the writers know about skateboarding.. pretty sure anyone that likes this show doesn't actually skate. cause its the whorst interpetation of skateboarding i've ever seen. |

| It's nice to see studio Bones back with an original anime, but that's not the only reason I'm watching this. I'm here for the sports, the vibes and the dudes! The aesthetic of this anime looks nice – I'm a sucker for anything vibrant, and this anime is certainly not missing any colour. Especially the skate shop background looks so cool on it's own, even if the characters look kinda out of place there... The atmosphere is cool, it's exactly the kind of urban hype I was expecting. The songs featured in the first episode also support the mood, and they're some real bangers too. The commercial skit was fun! And that mascot character fennec is pretty cute. Looking forward to next episode. |
