| Meh. It was fine. Would've been nice to see what Megumi and Takumi made. The episode seemed like it was stretching a small amount of content to fill 22 minutes. At least the format of the competition round was unique. |
| This is not a competition it's just a circus... a fake. Why Erina would need to do all this fights with so many of losers? Does it mean she will fight Yukihira and lose to him, Tsukasa will lose to the beer guy, and then beer guy will lose to Yukihira? Anyway this would never happen in any real situation. Also we keep seeing impossible things done like solo chef serving 100 people in short amount of time, or making many things at once in less than 60 minutes like Souma or fighting 1 vs 200+ like Erina without rest... total bulls*** This anime is not about cooking anymore it became fantastic Shounen for kids like DragoonBall, Naruto and others |

| With the Noir members put on the backburner, the show got more interested when it focused more on the competition plot. The return of Tsukasa was unexpected, but his landslide of a victory was. But now with everyone catching up to the other Noir members at the third gate, maybe we'll get a closer look at their supposed cutthroat culinary skills up close and in more detail. |
| Yukihira is the 1st seat yet everyone has their hopes on Tsukasa lmao I mean he is a great cook but Yukihira beat him so xD Tbh i enjoyed this challenge a lot, pretty creative. And what was that at the end? A chainsaw? wtf? |

| I knew that Souma was going to fail in the first try the moment they announced that everyone gets two attempts. Stop making it so obvious. The formula for these cooking contests are feeling repetitive now with predictable results. So that is the infamous chainsaw cooking at the end. |
| You know, I'm liking this arc. Except for the Noir crap, these last 2 episodes with the different cooking trials is what I wish the show had more of. And I said it before but I really like the new judge. I don't know, I like haughty anime girls, I love her design plus Yuka Iguchi, she is a 10/10 for me. That foodgasm... YES! Nice to see Tsukasa again... oh no, is that the infamous chainsaw I've heard so much about? xD |
| I kinda like this BLUE thing it's pretty amusing actually. I take back what I said on the last forum that she had an easy win, what she did is really tough. Souma stripped that loli really hard, where is the FBI? |

| Alright now, this is more like it! The same good ol' cooking challenge! Done properly! The moment I hear 'convenient store' I knew Souma is gonna get an advantage one way or another, although while he did mess up on his first try, he nailed it on the second try with a meal from his diner. Who's bankrupt now huh? Aint no bitchy customer can say no to Souma's exquisite dishes! Still, him holding the number 1 seat in the Elite 10, I wish he would make a much more sophisticated dish for lack of better words. Sure his style is diner dishes, but you know, it'll be cool for him to serve up something more exotic with a hint of his traditional diner style. Well, I digress. Imagine eating a $500 dish... |

| Better challenge than the first one, but I feel like more could have been done with this kind of challenge, as well as just pacing itself. Kinda felt flat, Soma just failing instantly and then winning instantly. That's really about what happened in that challenge other than Eishi's dish being showcased. Solid idea, lackluster and uninspired execution. And the whole Noir element of this whole storyline seems so dumb to me and miscast with this kind of series. Central makes more sense, and its the same organization that makes not much sense too. |
| So I guess even as number 1 at the most important school Soma still has to struggle with stuff... well at least Tsukasa completely dominated, which makes sense. Realistically he should be the strongest on in that competition and those mafia scrubs shouldn't even have made it to third round. |
