| hmmm...not sure about this known for a long time how much people loved this webtoon and noblesses but i could not get into the writing format of webtoons it just feels terrible to read so when this got greenlight i was hoping the pacing would translate better in anime ,uhh not really lol too many times i thought to myself what's going on are they gonna explain the thing they just mention? i'm i suppose to find it out later but the moment they leave you questioning what's going on 3 other things have happened ,pacing is hella fast yo i didn't dislike it but it just felt strange to watch ,art style it's like a very rough looking seraph of the end,and i enjoyed the bgm, that op though.. don't mind K-pop since it's a Korean work but that kind of credits work as a intro to like a movie not a anime opening that you'd be watching each week constant cuts to black is jarring (say that as someone that gets excited for op&eds) this is one i never want to watch again |

| I thought the first episode was a mixed bag. The art seems alright but yet not quite where I would want it to be. Same with the animation. The OP sucks imo. The episode seemed ok overall. I went and saw the corresponding chapters in webtoon. I feel that they rearranged/skipped too much from the yuri scene to the descriptions. Overall, it's an ok start but i'll keep going back to the webtoon after each episode to see what I missed cuz that's probably going to be a reoccurring theme here but I won't talk about it beyond this episode tho. |

| Looks like budgeted Hunter Hunter, with those unfinished/unrefined character design, though not that bad since it has moving animation unlike those seasonals with static frames. Background soundtrack is good, it got some mystical feel, kinda reminds me of that Kanno yoko song in GitS innocence movie. The OP and ED looks like those kpop dance songs where kpop boys are dancing to, yeah looks really wierd in this anime. Of course I'm not fan of it, and guess I belong to many of those who aren't into it too. As I've said above, feels like budget Hunter Hunter, MC looking for someone important to him(a parental figure) and goes through a test.(Gon looking for Ging/his father, and he took a hunter test/exam). But here it's fast pace straight up to the exam, dropping those terms and exposition, popping characters, kinda overwhelming to audience. I feel like this episode should be two episode. That next test we also seems like getting a Killua here, oh boi the blatant similarities. For me, MC looks pale in comparison to Gon, I guess I'm not into his gloomy innocent vibe unlike the happy go lucky innocent Gon. 6/10 |
| Outside from Kevin Penkin OST, nothing in this show have made me interested. Fast pacing and the art style wasn't the problem. The problem is the story is completely expository so far. MC is definitely gonna use plot armor excessively and I really couldn't connect with this Rachel motivation (it gets the plot going, but I couldn't care less). So if all those things are generic, the only reason for this to be that famous is fighting and/or battle shounen challenges. I thought since this was a famous Manhwa, it would be at least engaging, but so far it's just an average story that got famous because it has Shounen formula. Not sure if I'm gonna continue watching. |

| Not bad. Compared to the first stages of the comic, this adaptation is good enough. All I wish is for those who dropped the anime because of its graphics (just like how the comic readers did) to regret dropping the series. I will tell you, as many others will do as well, that this series worth your half-an-hour. P.S...... I'm fangirling so hard whenever Yuri appears (and later Endorsi). |

Man,it ended in such a good moment. I'm really glad I never read the Tower of God webtoon,I wouldn't have enjoyed this ep as much as I did otherwise.Its so mysterious,I can't wait too see how this all unravels. Also,the op is a banger. |

I hate the anime community so much. Please overhype at least somewhat interesting series. Some creators are actually trying out here ugh anyways.. The writing so far aside, at least the soundtrack's great and I quite enjoy the visual direction (can't speak for everyone by the looks of it). Like the OP and ED - the songs specifically but that's probably the kpop trash within me talking lol - they're nice. Would be cool if the sequences provided the visuals to match.but my playlist will be happy. Hopefully, the strengths in production can maintain my interest cause the story and characters don't. seem to be the selling points. The writing is actually very good. (I read the webtoon) As a reader, I can tell you that they did skip a few parts in the anime that could have been used. But I think it's too early to call the story bad based on one episode. |

| When I heard Rachel's voice OMG... why did they have to use Hayami Saori.... Then I heard Khun's voice then ahhh... That is much better... love Okamoto Nobuhiko's voice Very hyped for this as someone who reads the manhwa. I don't think it's that rushed, contrary to what some other would say. I was expecting some Rachel scenes in the tower but I guess they'll postpone that for another episode. |
| Seems like your typical generic shounen, pretty boring first episode tbh only the last bit when he reaches the second floor was a bit interesting, which atleast tells me that it only can get better from here. |

| I felt that they were a bit too rushed with the beginning and the whole "enigma" element. We got virtually no background (I'm fine with no explanation, but no perspective just kinda sucks) for a lot of things in this episode, and then we were thrown into a traditional battle shonen format. At least the cinematography is good, even though the opening feels cheap and just doesn't seem inventive or creative. I quite like the animation style, but between the sudden shifts in tone and perspective and a main character that I just can't "get", I'm not too sure how this one's gonna go. |

| Can't wait for the developments! Also, I actually like the ending song better than the opening one. And it's weird hearing a VA I like coming out of someone I don't like;; P.S. I highly recommend sticking to the webtoon if you're going to be disappointed about an anime adaption, it's never going to satisfy you and others have to read your comments on ever episode wondering why you're bothering. XD;; |

| The episode isn't a great episode by any means but a good one.It was so fast paced that I found hard to breathe.Unusual artstyle but could easily get used to it.The OST is amazing as expected by Kevin Penkin. The tower seems interesting and there's mystery surrounding the world. I found the character motivations to be quite lame.Rachel wants to climb the tower which is full of dangers only to see stars.That's pretty lame reason to put your life on.I can understand Bam's reasoning though. I hope the motivations are explained propely as the show progresses.I don't want it to end up as Boku no Hero s4 or Fire Force which never reached the level they were hyped to be. |

| I'm assuming since the Webtoon is so popular and long running that the plot gets a lot better. But the first part of this episode with the backstory and first test was just... confusing, weird, and boring. I know the source material starts a certain way, but when translating to another medium, you should be able to shuffle things around in order to not have such a weak start... Really hate watching random side characters (who's motives for caring this much about Bam's test are not explained) doing that typical "sports announcer" thing from the side lines à la shounen cliche. Why were they so invested? I was rolling my eyes every time they were taking up screen time. Apparently their motives get explained a lot later on in the Webtoon, but that just feels like the author retconned it. The moment the second test started my interest immediately piqued. The first part was weighed down by empty exposition that achieved nothing, whereas the second part was much more fun. |
