My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (light novel)
| Totsuka maybe? I'd love to see that ruote instead. Or Iroha? Or maybe we go with of "Nobody" instead? Wouldn't be great if Hachiman deosn't end up with nobody? I have no idea of the Light Novel state, I don't even know if it is already finished, but as far as I can recall, the third season of Oregairu should be the last one and therefore we will be able to finally see our boi, Hachiman decides with whom to end up. Light Novel connoisseurs, where are you? Someone needs your help. |

| I sure hope it's neither and he ends up alone because there has not been enough romance to justify shoehorning in such an ending in just one more season without it feeling forced and awkward. And it would definitely make me appreciate the show less if it went for such a cliché way of ending it. Part of why I like it is that it did not give me the impression of being all about random teen romance but more introspective than that so if the final season turns that on his head and ends on a 'It was all about romance, romance solves all the personality issues anyone might have out of nowhere!' type ending, I'd be very disappointed. |

| Endings are always the worst part in these kind of shows. There's just not enough romantic development from the past 2 seasons to justify any pairing. Although Yukino and 8man did have their moments and Yui is pretty hopeless at this point lmao so it's either Yukino or Iroha. I'd prefer if 8man just doesn't end up with anyone even if it's cliched af. |

| This would be massively controversial in my eyes, I don't think there is any other choice than Yui and Yuki although I absolutely love Iroha and it is a good route but it just wouldn't work. When we saw Iroha and Hachiman go on a "date" in the OVA it's obvious we all loved it but Iroha has her eyes set on one man and I don't think that's gonna change |
| Rest in peace my dream on having another character ending up with Hachiman rather than Yukino. How sad and how convenient. I've been always wondering, why is the same stuff? Why the most obvious ending? What exactly happened between those two, happened between Hachiman and other 2-3 girls as well. I guess the author knew there were a lot of fans who were worshiping Yukino-Hachiman so he went that way too. |

I wouldn't hate anything that happens, but the ending would suck a little bit if it isn't Yui for me tho lmao. I'm leaning towards it being nobody though... |

Well, I haven't seen it in so long so I don't remember specifics but u got the girls having feelings for hachiman and then MAL lists the show as romance too. |

| Hachiman x Yukino is the only pairing that makes sense both for their individual arcs and character development and as a conclusion to the story. Everything else is just "muh subversion". |
| Hopefully, characters are more realistic than in "Kimi no todoke", so these 12 additional episodes should be enough for some decent romantic developments. Remember the part when Yukino says "Itsuka, watashi wo takete ne" (One day, save me) to Hachiman? Since he is a member of the volunteers club, and considering his way of reasoning, he will save her almost surely. Then I leave to the experts to determine what it means considering romantic relationships... For sure this eliminates her big sister. Otherwise, she is the only character who has a younger and an older version of herself (Tsurumi and Hiratsuka sensei). I think that it says enough about her importance. Yui does not really need help, and Iroha certainly not. The latter is a pleasant joke, nice and everything, but closer to a recurring joke in my opinion (bag carrying and recurrent refusal phrase). Furthermore, she also wants to stop working early (like Hachiman, at least in the novel), so we will have a contradiction if they end up together! I would personally prefer having him with Shizuka (sensei), but this would not be so coherent with the overall story development for the above reasons. Finally, I am glad to see that no one mentioned Komachi. |

| I expect the end to be with a long Hachiman dialogue that everybody will have no other choice but to accept. I also find a bit weird that the final volume doesn't get published at the same time as the anime's ending as it's often the case with such adaptations: they could've waited a few more months for this. If the author isn't tired of those characters, I'd expect the end to be a bridge towards another period of their lives. I have a faint memory of reading something, a few years ago, mentioning that Hikigaya would become a therapist later (EDIT: or maybe it was for the Haganai LN?). As for the "end up with X/Y/Z", I'd like to see him send everybody away, saying that he understood that the girls were competing between them (at least Yui/Yukino) more in order to "win" against one another than really for him, so there would be no sense in developing a relationship from there, as the foundation would be built on lies. Despite his respect/admiration for Yukino. And he'd leave saying something like "damn I didn't know being on this side of the rejection sucked too, but now I'm a master at both rejecting and being rejected" and concluding with the series title. Cliché, but effective. |

| Going with this series' theme, I'm betting on him not ending up with anyone, unless we get a timeskip and he miraculously finds a girl thats not named Yui/Yukino/Iroha or any of the girls we've met in oregairu. Not to beat around the bush but... Yui and Yukino deserves better and you know it. But hell, at this point in time all the hype I had about this stupid romcom ended at season 1. Season 2 had too much unnecessary drama and pretentious dialogues for a highschooler. Its like the whole "My Teen Romantic Comedy" aspect disappeared and was only heavily in at season 1. I hear that after the events of season 2 this shit goes way more pretentious than it already was so.... god bless what we're about to witness in S3's edgy supposed romance comedy show. All I care about now and why I'll still watch this is because I've already stuck with its season 1 and 2 and I hear S3 may adapt the whole thing to its end so just to put a nail on its coffin Ima finish this, AAAAND the seiyuu's! Hayami Saori+Ayaneru+Nao, my ears wont allow me to miss these 3. |

| (Spoilers kinda?) Well I've read the manga and the light novel and so far nothing has happened ever since Yukino made her request. (Spoilers ahead you have been warned)  Other than this one scene nothing 'romantic' really happened. Yukino's request is well not that easy to explain as she doesn't say it directly but indirectly. If you want to really know yourself I suggest you read chapter 60 if you want to find out or wait. Also when Hachiman was in Mcdonalds with Kawasaki and her little sister he described them as one happy family. The light novel hasn't ended yet and if I would say more It would just be spoiling the story although for the time being there aren't any confirmed ships.
