Yeah, i know but what i meant by shutdown was like hit her in the head and make her go unconscious and then do whatever they need to do. I think that would have been the best outcome.
yeah they can try it but i doubt they would succeed. After all, we saw it in Krone's flashback. All the mama candidates were trained like military soldiers. They can fend off a few kids no problem. Look how easily Isabella lifted Ray up by his collar and threw him away and how she broke Emma's leg with one hand. What a beast.
Not necessary. She is much stronger because boys are before puberty. If they had been teenagers with all the training in the world she would still have had her ass handed to her by the boys. But again those kids seem on ritalin or something. Even as an introvert kid I would still use sticks for mock sword fights , still would throw rocks at stuff. They seem a bit too docile to me. I mean no one thought of taking the knife from the kitchen to cut some fruit? No one throws a tantrum while throwing stuff? Is a bit weird to me. If they had a tv or computer I would understand those things can fry your brain especially if you are an unsupervised kid but they have a forest in the back yard.

This was best episode yet, krone didn't deserve what she got loved her from very beginning and rooting for the kids to break through was really emotional, ost was on point. Really liked the mama in this episode how she was controlling the kids that there is no way of escaping and the home they live is the best way of spend there time be happy.

People may complain about the cuts but what choices does the adaption have? They somehow have to fit a whole arc into 12 episodes and I think they are doing a fantastic job especially in this episode. The tension was on point and I as a mangareader didn't even notice the cuts.

Am I supposed to hate Isabella? Because I'm not really feeling that. She's obviously a villain, but that doesn't even need to be said. I very rarely hate villains anyway, as long as they can show some reasoning and motives, or anything of that sort.
I believe her when she says she really does love the children, and that she thinks living short happy lives followed by painless deaths is a good thing. Is she messed up? Yep. But that's fine.
In other words she's the best character the anime has presented at this point. I'm more interested in her than the kids.

True but then again, they are kids fighting an adult that was trained in self-defense and those kids barely train. I practice Ju-Jitsu and my academy has a girl that fights pretty good for being a girl, she's been training for a while and can give untrained newcomers a run for their money even if they are males so I can see this hot "Mama" handling those untrained kids easily and to make matters worse the one that tried to stop that hot "Mama" was an untrained girl which happened to be a kid... yep, no chance there.

They would have a better chance if they all attacked her at the same time but leaving Emma handle her by herself was a bit too much for her, maybe if she had a knife she could've done something but without weapons it will be almost impossible.

I don't know about that dude, the little girl from the first episode appeared to be somewhat "beaten up" with all the bruises she had on her so it wasn't a painless death, she probably felt a lot of pain there. Is like the monsters were pummeling her before killing her with the flower thing, that's pretty sad.

You have a point, her death might not have been instant. Well even Krone's wasn't, but Conny looks more beaten up for sure.
And if it wasn't instant, that means Isabella lied about that part at least.

Isabella has been lying to them from the beginning since they were toddlers, I won't be surprised if she was also lying about that part. At this point Isabella can't be trusted for anything.

Those kids needs to somewhat cut her feet tendons with a knife behind her back so she can't walk again and proceed in cutting both her legs and arms while trying to leave her alive. It will be brutal but those kids needs to do it if they plan to survive because it isn't looking pretty good for them and that psycho hot "Mama" kind of deserve it.

not necessary what? Anyone with ALL the training in the world can obviously beat her. Isabella only received hand to hand combat training. There are a lot more types of training she doesn't have. She isn't perfect or the strongest.

Also in the manga Ray and Norman have talked about killing mama, doing the slice throat motion while carrying a knife. That was b4 they found out about the device in their heart. The anime just didn't add that part.

On a side note, even if u find out ur beloved mom is an enemy, it's still hard, mentally, to decide to kill her. Killing a stranger is hard enough, killing ur own mother is even harder. Not to mention they are 11 year old kids. The anime may show mama as super evil, but in the manga, we see short 4 panel manga of their daily life b4 everything happened. And it was so full of happiness and love and normal. Even when mama turns evil it's hard to forget the happy moments they've spent with her.

This is not new, but the directing in this show is phenomenal, so that's such a huge shame they cut out all the inner monologing, because the psyhological aspects in the manga is one of its biggest strength. It could have easily become a huge classic like Death Note if they adapted it more faithfully.

OSTs in this ep were all great too.

Great episode. They went for a different take on Krone's take. In the manga the moment leading up to Krone's death from her receiving the letter was filled with a lot of monologue. The manga focused on the psychological aspects. Krone sounded like she was angry the whole time. The anime went for a more "ironic" view on the whole situation. The scenes flashed between Krone's backstory, her struggle against the demon and the children's lunchtime. The demon's lunch vs the children's lunch. The "Thanks for the food!" at the end was pretty haunting.

Mum breaking Emma's leg was brutal. The sound effects were on point.

Goodbye, Mama Krone, Wow, Isabella finally showed her character even though Emma was broken by her feet, they didn't give up to run away. Norma's delivery was also determined. I wanted to ask what the meaning of "Red Rose" meant in the dead Krone scene. at the end there are also red roses, do they have meaning?

Sure they probably saw some techniques in TV or WWE but when you are untrained pulling those techniques off is not that easy, a lot of the newcomers are complete amateurs with no stamina and gets tired pretty easy. There are other newcomers that have better stamina and can beat her sure, but my point is that not all of them beats her that easily with submisions.

With punches and kicks everything changes so yeah, I can see them beating her but I won't be surprised if she still beat a couple of the crappy guys out there.

I thought the demons were terrifying, but after this episode Isabella is a worse monster than the demons.
Despite having a very creepy personality, I'm going to miss Sister Krone, Isabella played with her and always had her in the palm of her hand, but Krone will not go away without first leaving one last hope to the children.
Grandma is just as evil as Isabella, that flashback of Isabella trying to escape, it became clear to me how the old woman handled the situation at that time and Isabella learned the same method.
The sequence of Krone's death while the children were having breakfast was great, as well as how they show us Krone's past and all her training, besides seeing the moment when she gets the pen. The part in which we see how little by little Krone's life fades away as the flower turns red while we hear her last words.
Isabella's next victim was Ray and if I'm honest that evil look of Isabella when she tells Ray that she eliminated Krone gave me chills, the worst thing is that Isabella already knew Ray was lying in his reports, so she also ends up the agreement she had with the boy. And finally her last victims were Norman and Emma and I think this part was the best, because Isabella already made it clear to the 5 children that she has them under control, whatever they do.
The part where Isabella meets Norman and Emma was exasperating, i was afraid if she would do something to the kids, besides her speech was horrible, how a mother who loves her children can deliver them as food for monsters.
I love how Norman tells Isabella to rot and he and Emma reveal themselves, but after hearing that bone breaking sound ... Isabella made it clear that she will do anything to keep them obedient.
Poor Emma, her leg and scream gave me so much pain and seeing the monstrous Isabella act as a sweet mother was repulsive, the worst thing is that she tells them they are a special specimen for special clients, but the bad news continues, Isabella informs Norman that cental has already decided the day he will be taken and Norman's hopeless face was shocking to see.

Damn Granny, Damn mom. I hope they rot those damn ones. I'm sorry, I'm exalted a little. Now with the collection of Norman, the children are between the sword and the wall. Everything collapsed in an instant.

I'm finding it hard to dislike Isabella even though I usually hate villains. She's by far the best character of the series and I'm hoping she's secretly actually one of the good guys.

With all the things they've been up to it was pretty obvious that she'd know about it.

Having read the manga and some of the scans, it's an excellent episode! I love the little passage where Sister Krone is murdered with the bloodthirsty flower. We now know the little story of his plush. She already had her when she was a child and so she kept up until she became Mom.

Phil is more intelligent than the trio Emma, Norman and Ray.
