| @MingA- I think you may be looking for the signup page. Click here to go to the signup page For #68 find an active staff member you like, then pick a favorite anime from that person's profile. For 74: Go to your profile where you listed your own favorite anime. If you don't have any listed: go do that first. After that you pick one, preferably the one you like most. Go to that anime's page (its MAL entry) Then go to the "recommendations" tab and watch one of the first 5 recommendations for that particular anime. |

Genshiken is a comedy anime from mid 00's, and it influenced a lot of otaku-centric comedy til this day. Ben-To is your typical battle shounen, except it's not typical because of a weird setting. Yuru Yuri is a cute girls show, and unless I missed something you haven't watched any of those yet. Little Witch Academia, because good anime should always be recommended. |

I haven't watched enough niche or old anime to be able to give a proper recommendation myself, so instead I looked at what the critics have been talking about in their 100 or so most recent videos and cross referenced it with your completed list. That's what you tried to do.), or simply ask someone else/pass and wait for someone else to do the recommendation for you. What you shouldn't do is recommend something based on a list made by another person you don't personally trust (and even if you trust them, I'd use this as a last resort or watch a couple episodes before recommending). I want a personal recommendation made by a user, if you're the one answering I want YOUR recommendation. If I wanted a critic video I would go ahead and watch it, I have no reason to ask for a recommendation for this item whatsoever, there are 33 easy challenges and I only need to do 8 (in fact, I could stick to what I had watched before the 14th of August when I finished the challenge for the first time). Would something like Claymore whose popularity number is #100-something (which is obviously lower than #2,001) be valid for this? I think they mean just the opposite. The more anime popular is, the higher the number. I think you should look for something more than 2001. (2002, 3000 and so on). Exammples: Switch (2721) Ou Dorobou Jing (2305) Wagaya no Oinari-sama. Since you have a yuri signature and some yuri-friendly anime in your favourites, you may want to watch Maria-sama ga Miteru for that one. Apart from that, I've used Azumanga Daioh and Sailor Moon for that item, but examples aren't really hard to come by, especially if you don't mind watching older anime. Idol and mecha shows also frequently have a lot of main characters, most of which have vaild hair colours, so you can do your research from there. If I had to recommend someone with 1.3K anime watched, with most of it from a genre I'm not familiar with, I'd probably pass or ask for help. In most cases, though, something can be done. I doubt you haven't watched anything worthwhile to recommend someone like me, with an anime count practically the same range as yours. Maybe it's because I'm intimidating in some way (I'm a challenge helper who seems to be always in bad mood judging from my comment section and my scores are kinda low compared to most users), but I can see some anime you have watched and I already had an eye on, like the aforementioned Shoujo Shuumatsu and, to a much lesser extent, Sora yori, or even Kemono Friends. I could even say that you like more or less the same type of shows that I do, but maybe with more of a shounen-oriented mindset. |
