| Black Clover is the most shounen manga ever, it pretty much embranced all the troupes and cliches but they are used particularly well. It like Fairy Tail except that Tabata is actually pretty competent compared to Mashima. I think the biggest take is that there are characters developement even for side characters. Usually, side characters get obsolete after awhile but that not the case with Black Clover. Asta voice actor is alright for me but I can see why people don't enjoy it but that Asta personality. |

Not spoiling I'm literally just guessing but that's how every immature fantasy anime story line goes. For me, this is distasteful since I don't like it when writers portray their characters as overwhelmingly perfect or just flat out unrealistic. You may not buy a car with bad steering, but anime is different. Literally the first 20 episodes of Katekyo Hitman Reborn are shit. The other 183 episodes are my favorite anime ever... |

| With Asta screaming every little thing at the top of his lungs, I can't help but feel sorry for his seiyuu and his voice after every recording session. Must hurt like hell...... That said, they really haven't gotten into much of the world building yet. All we know is that magic is a common thing in this world and that everyone gets chosen by a grimoire at age 15. That and there's some organization with magic knights and magic kings. Hopefully we get to learn more in the next episode. |

| Would have been a relatively nice show if it wasn't for that yelling. I mean the MC already has an annoying, very child-like personality (tolerable tho) and all that screeching just makes it worse. My ears are bleeding. During the show I don't know how many times did I think "Asta, won't you just shut up?". Boy, get a hold of yourself. The only good thing in there was Yuno as I haven't watched anything with Zakki for a while. Unfortunately, this is the second & really anticipated anime this season I'm going to drop (after Sengoku Night Blood) |

| This episode is just the OVA without the ending and some additional scenes. I don't like episode after the first minute, too many things in just only episode. That voice LMAO -.- If the plot becomes a bit decent later, with Asta as MC i don't put more than 3 in list. 1/5 |

| People have to realize the first episode was bad to introduce an anime and if you enjoyed it that's a different topic. Not going to blame VA since this is his first major role but the MC is just a copy of every shonen ever, lets hope for a better 2nd epi. |

| Really not that good for a first episode. The MC would be a lot more tolerable if he didn't scream every other line. Regardless of that annoying voice acting, this show feels really cliche and disappointing. I'll give it one or two more episodes, but so far it's not looking good. |

| Never read the manga or heard about it and discovered it yesterday with Ep1. I like it, but totally Naruto Potter here. Also, the MC voice is an absolute turn-off. Almost wanted to drop the show after a few minutes after he didn't stop shouting with that annoying voice. Hope he doesn't do that in all the eps... |

| Omg that yelling, Asta takes the cake for most annoying male MC this year, definitely the most annoying character I've seen at first glance. Apparently volume control is not a thing. And its only made worse because that was the only thing wrong with this for me, but is single-handedly killing this anime... I'm a watch the next episode, but if keeps yelling like that, I'm out. His Seiyuu doesn't help at all. |

| Trash. Everyone in this show is the worst and they emphasized their shitty personalities on purpose to exaggerate the difference between them and Asta. I've seen this done time after time after endless time and this trope is getting so old. Even their adopted dad was a moron. He did not care one bit about Asta's plight and got too caught up in Yuno's power. I can't wait to see the next episode but with a first episode this bad, I don't think there will be anything to redeem this show. This anime has done a great job of doing everything that's already been done before. Overhyped shounen protagonist with immense hidden potential: check The silent type, edgelord rival always one step ahead of protagonist: check Deranged and power driven antagonist with no given reason for his actions: check Beautiful love interest who's not interested in protagonist: check Two obligatory buttholes to underestimate the potential of the protagonist and inevitably have their ass kicked: check Giant ass sword: check Oh, and he's also a demon: check Could this anime be any more generic? |

| Whew I actually enjoyed the start. Sure, MC screaming around was annoying but tbh, I'll get used to it, unlike to an edgy explosive retard from a different anime. At least, MC's shouting is directed towards positivity and not like that of edgelord's full of malice. Heh. Visuals were actually nice. Story, well... can't say anything atm. Hope it doesn't falls into depravity of mediocrity later on. |

| If someone were to tell me this was written by Masashi Kishimoto, I'd believe it. I haven't watched Naruto in 10 years and I STILL got some serious deja vu. Little bit of Fairy Tail influence as well, which is eh. Despite this being by the numbers shounen so far I'll continue to watch it just because I'm not watching anything else right now and this is the first anime I've started in over a year. |

| hmm.. the art style looks different from the standalone special, yuno looks a lil uglier. it was alright, i think the special gave more impact but they're basically the same except for how it was executed. not sure if this will be my thing now. |

| It was alright. I may have liked it better if it weren't for the loudness of the MC. I can't stand his constant yelling/screaming. I almost stopped watching it. If he's screaming in the next episode, I'm dropping. |
| It sucked. The manga isn't that great too, but they managed to make the anime even worse with that annoying MC screaming every 5 seconds without a reason. |
