I find, for myself at least, that, it's not particularly hard to feel it out when someone is going to die. There has only been ONE character thus far that I've thought was going to die at a certain point, and I was fortunately wrong (at that point and time), although that character has set themselves up for death later on. I don't think the author does that great of a job hiding it as you stated. I think he's done an OK job concerning character deaths. I enjoy the rest of what he has done (minus the comedy, which I found White Fox made it much worse in the show/has become much more apparent animated). I'd garner I'm not the only one either. |

You've watched the show right? You've seen the way Chelsea kills, correct? That is what a true assassin would do. They wouldn't burst into a building and just kill everyone like the NR cast usually does. Well I guess they are more murderer's than assasins. Altough assasination does not really have to be stealthy - placing a bomb that blows an entire bulding along with a target is assasination as well. I suppose it depends how you look on that. I have to say her way of killing was in fact my favourite one. Changing appearance, gaining trust, then striking - that was really what I enjoyed. Besides, Kurome has hax. How would inserting a needle into your spine NOT kill you? The logic of this author fails. She said that you need to either behead her or crush her heart - I would think a needle to the spine would be more severe than crushing a heart or at least harder to regenerate but it's pretty hard to speculate on that. I will just base off of the fact that heart transplants are common while spine transplants aren't. I don't think you should use that logic anyway - especially towards someone who commands the undead. |

| 5/5 Episode that left more or less, to understand the course of the story, very well scripted. The plot proves evil and sadistic, and given the short time, it should speed up and departed the characters, what a shame. Drawings and animations good. The next episode looks very interesting. This for me is the best series produced by Studio White Fox. |

| It would be game of thrones if Akame or Tatsumi die, but they won't . Most of the dead is unnecessary and nothing to shock about. The death of insignificant character is insignificant. |

Thats one of the things that Akame ga Kill does so well, is showing that even the people considered monsters aren't completely black. Nothing is completely black and white in this show, the good guys kill people too. I don't understand how you couldn't like the part when esdeath convinced him to take off his mask and eat with them. It was all very touching, but at the end of the day yes, he did bad things and deserved to die, he knew that, and accepted it, but loved his family so much he wanted to be with them. Also, his family is probably the reason he kept doing his job even though he knew it was bad. His family is safe in the capital while he is high rank in the military because the capital needs him, by defending the capital, he defends his family. He is a soldier, just like American soldiers in Iraq. Obviously they lived well too, his family had a pretty big house. They were the most important thing in the world to him, and he probably felt they wouldn't be safe in revolutionary army. So even though I dont approve of Bols actions and am on night raids side, I do feel for him as he meets his end. I guess you have a point and I did feel bad a little bit. I would just rather die then serve people who make me kill the innocent. And Esdeath doesn't make any sense to me. She has a caring heart but loves to torture people and laughs at their suffering? I can't find anything to like about her at all apart that she looks great. >.> I just feel like Night Raid has the worst luck ever and things should just start going their way a little bit. |

Except that';s not how revolutions work. They are woefully outgunned and outnumbered and so far behind enemy lines that the only reason they started taking casualties so fast is because they've gotten too brave and went after higher tier targets to the point that the PM took notice of them. |
| Am I the only one annoyed by characters getting killed? But well, I do agree that Chelsea had to die, I mean if they had her weapon, victory would be much easier. She'd just transform and trick whoever she wants I guess. |

| I... actually really really liked this episode. Probably my favorite. We didn't have to listen to Tatsumi that much, we got to see Chelsea's awesome assasination skills and none of it was ruined by some awkward fanservice scene out of nowhere! If the series keep this up I'll end up enjoying it for real. |

Fuck man, Bols death was sad, but I already considered him dead so it didn't bothered me that much, but Chelsea death was just so sad when she said : ''I wanted to be praised when I returned... «What do you think, Tatsumi? Didn't I do great?»''........... Man, we could see her death from miles away when she separated from Lubbock, but it still hit me like a rock in the face. At least, Leone didn't die, but it only make the delay even more painful. Damnit, I'm being such a little bitch right here. The death in that show are so brutal. At the same time, I like the fact that this is pretty uncommon to have brutal death from main. They often die in a cheesy way, leaving hope to their next generation, etc, etc. Edit : Woah, now that the adrenaline have passed, I love this show. It's manipulative as fuck, but show that can shock me with dying character means that there able to make me cares about them. I'll just wait for the doujinshi to drown my tears... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |
