But i just hope that the anime will show off Saburouta's artwork <3 |

There is a real dirth of good yuri manga at the moment, at least longer running ones. The one really good yuri I'm following at the moment is Yagate-kun ni Naru (Eventually, I Will Become Yours). Can't wait to see Citrus and Netsuzou trap get animated especially citrus, but to be honest I wished they had chosen a series by Milk Morinaga to animate as well instead of NTR (some parts of NTR will hurt to watch) since she's so good at writing really great yuri romcom/drama but I can see why citrus and NTR were chosen, they would both attract more viewers even those who are normally not into yuri. I've been wondering why it's been so difficult lately to find new English translated chapters of NTR and why there hasn't been a new chapter for Citrus this past month, but I guess it's starting to make some sense |

Citrus shows an actual lesbian relationship (so you should check it out) and it shows how the characters get there (to the relationship part) and how they deal with it (being attracted to a girl and being in a lesbian relationship or relationship in general), Netsuzou TRap on the other hand is hard to say, it does show girl on girl sexual relationship but so far in the manga both main girls are still struggling with what it means to be with another girl and revealing their true feelings plus they both have boyfriends, that's why the NTR are capitalised in the title and it gets annoying sometimes (well most of the time) |

It also an active-agressive try at NTR, so there is that. So after 22 chapters there is next to no progress and all that's left is some yuri fanservice every few chapters. Pretty weak if you ask me. |

ACTUAL lesbians with mediocre or irregular writing quality is still better than "JUst friends" implied queerbait subtext shows, even if they are better written. We need more adaptations like this as a way to break the mold. |

I didn't go much into the manga, but the kisses come out of fuckin no where , and you don't expect them cause the 2 girls have a rough relationship at first so it's conflicting to the point i question if it's just done to vent some urges lol. Also the drama is nothing great though it didn't seem bad ... |

| 2017 - YEAR OF THE YURI. I was so glad that Citrus anime is finally confirmed!!! The characters can be a real pain but oh well, they're doing a good job pleasing each other lol This is really a great news, with Netsuzou Trap anime.. Bless year 2017. | Reading through this thread again, I sort of get where people are coming from with the concern of both adaptations being heavy on drama, but that's exactly why I feel like Citrus and NTR are really good choices for Yuri adaptations. The most popular Yuri anime right now are light, fluffy, SOL, ie Sakura Trick or Aoi Hana. They're not bad, but they also don't really have much "oomph". I think something like Citrus or NTR that have a lot of more impactful "Yuri" content (ie kissing, touching, and in NTR's case actual sex) along with heavy amounts of drama (cheating, love triangles, OMG ANGST) will help bring a lot more fans to the genre. My issue with most Yuri has always been how it's either too tame or it's just porn, so adaptations that sort of swing in the middle are a nice change :P |

| Definitely going to watch, although not a big fan of Mei's attitude. Knew it's going to get anime adaption someday. Hopefully the art will be beautiful, like in manga. |
