I've put Standalone Complex and Monster on hold because they bored me.

Fma:B and HxH had also many boring parts and they don't deserve so much praise. Yes, they are really good but not as good as people say they are.

I consider starting the One Piece anime as one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I kept pushing myself to watch the whole thing because everyone is praising it so much but I just ended up wasting my time before eventually dropping it in the Dressrosa arc.

I fucking hate Yuno's guts. I don't care if she was abused when she was a child, if I were in the position of the Mirai Nikki MC I would've ditched her the moment I realised she is crazy.

Monster Musume is fucking disgusting.

Snafu is too much of a melodrama for my tastes. And I also think Oreki from Hyouka destroys Hachiman.

I agree with you when it comes to Gintama, I haven't watched much but I don't think it's good enough to deserve #1.

I also got bored a lot while watching Cowboy Bebop.

However I'll have to disagree with you on 3 points you made:

1. Ufotable makes extremely high quality shows. If you don't like FN then it's your opinion I guess, however as adaptations they are quite good. Actually after seeing your profile I have to admit I'm quite confused. Is this supposed to be an April Fool's joke or serious? Well whatever, doesn't matter anyway.

2. I think the "fillery" episodes of Steinsgate were successful in developing chemistry between the cast and thoroughly enjoyed them.

3. I don't know why you think the TG manga is shit. You are free to believe whatever you like and I don't know how much you've read, but I can assure you it's godlike at the moment. Yes the first half of the manga was slow and uninteresting but you'll understand why it's necessary to establish a solid foundation if you ever read the whole thing or so I hope at least.

Bokumachi's Kayo x Hiromi end was not NTR
Yashiro Gaku deserved more screentime and explanation than he got, manga did him better justice on all accounts
The only redeeming part of Bokumachi's ending that didn't feel rushed as fuck was seeing Yashiro emote i love when psychopaths cry about sappy shit and Satoru have a fairly happy end but shoehorning Airi in there despite her having far more integration in the manga

in other words the Bokumachi anime suffered from being rushed as fuck

Durarara Ketsu had the same problem of being rushed as fuck
It was not that great

All this talk about action scenes smh. As if action scenes were the highlight of the show.

OT: Steins;Gate is seriously a shitfest and I can't wrap my head around the fact that it's one of the most popular show here. The animation sucks, the soundtrack sucks, the characters suck, the plot sucks, the meta jokes suck, and it's outright offensive as soon as it touches subjects like sexual orientation or skin color. It sucks. Elfen Lied was more enjoyable and less offensive.

The plot does not suck, unless you just hate time travel in general, Okabe is great, the rest are meh, the animation sucks, but it doesn't matter, because it's not the selling point of the show. As far as being offensive goes, Steins;Gate has a very good approach to skin color. Okabe tries to act like a hood motherfucker because the guy he wants to talk to is black and the dude is just like "Hey", and Okabe feels like a retard for being so racist. THE SHOW POINTS OUT TO YOU THAT OKABE IS BEING RACIST, HOW CAN YOU EVEN HAVE THAT OPINION? JFC, I think you're just looking for reasons to be offending

Monster Musume's only appeal lies in the girls faces, but even those are completely obscured by how weird their monster bodies are. Especially the spider one and the water girl, I can tolerate the mermaid and serpent tails, but yeah, eight fuzzy legs and gelatinous blobbiness? Pardon the intrusion, but how, why why why would you want to get off on that, no matter whether their faces are attractive or not? any of the sex appeal is completely canceled out by those fucking… ew, gtfo.

I hate sexual BL stereotypes unless there's some fucking role swapping involved. Like give me two psychos who can alternate between the sub or dom roles or get oooout

The artstyle of Junjou Romantica and its sister series whose name I always forget is hideous as f and I hate how their chins could cut fucking wood

GL is much better at handling story and not relying on stereotypes than BL is. BL is best when not too hardly sexual or at least overbearingly psychologically grating, if not fluff, but not with such great emphasis on who the fuck is the seme and who the fuck is the uke cuz who the fuck fucking cares

Durarara's ending sucked ass, it was both rushed and incredibly generic. That goes for the novels too, I was completely underwhelmed by all variations of the ending. Total copout on the part of Narita.

The fandoms for sports anime are cancer and their interpreting everything as being "yaoi subtext" bothers the crap out of me. can you at least enjoy a series for its story and characters and not for shipping potential, ya twits? maybe it's cuz I'm not always wearing yaoi goggles but not everything's fucking gay. I'm a bi person who wants to see representation as much as anyone else but nothing abt these dudes is inherently gay besides the fact that they're attractive and play sports, so stop reaching… the shipping feels incredibly forced at times esp for ships I despise

There needs to be more hot deviants in anime. Give me another Yashiro or Nasujima and I will be goddamn gushing

I concur with Rakugo
Rakugo wins AOTS hands down and nothing else came close, give even if I haven't read the source material and can't exactly gauge how well the adaptation is transferred it's still amazing on its own accord without feeling rushed as hell and has its own unique allure. I never would have expected DEEN to actually get an AOTS accolade from me, but here they are. Good job DEEN, good job.

Kanbaru is obviously best girl and Hanamonogatari was one of the best arc in the franchise.

Izaya Orihara is not that great. Nor is Shizuo, really. Neither of them physically or personally appeal to me

Reverse harem adaptations also end up being shitty way too much of the time

Diabolik Lovers is the worst reverse harem franchise to ever disgrace the name of animation

Harems are often graced to be bad, I've liked a few shows with harem ish elements but they also have okay comedy to back them up. Generic ecchiharems have almost none of that

Cannot for the life of me get into the Big 3

Nadeko is worst Monogatari grl if I had to pick a Monogatari girl

Hana is one of the better side arcs of the Monogatari series and I enjoyed it more than Tsuki or Neko

Rouka Numachi was awesome and deserved more screentime #JusticeForRouka

The ending for the usagi drop manga was not that bad people

EDIT: One more "controversial" thing about anime I wanna add to this thread: Avatar, Boondocks, RWBY and it's ilk is not anime and they never will be unless it's produced by a Japanese for the Japanese market. Anime is not an art style nor is it a way of writing a story, it's just what the Japanese use to refer to animation in general. We just happened to import the word into English to refer to Japanese animation, so shut up.

I've kept Grave of the Fireflies at an 8 out of mercy, but frankly it was a very underwhelming experience in retrospect. I will never understand how people cried over it and I'm a fairly emotional guy myself.
