Everyone in Romdeau is born from a tube. Oh.

Wait, no, if everything is manufacturered in a perfect, systemized manner, how are there still deviants? Also, why is Re-l suddenly infatuated with the outside world? Her interactions with the outside world includes trying to get Vincent back into the city, being in bed dying, walking around dying, and eventually getting sent back into Romdeau. I don't think there was an instance of her realizing the manner which people outside the city are trying to live. Maybe when she met Quinn briefly? Was that the moment? It was hardly an encounter though.

Also, we found God. In the 7th episode. Followed by that ending. Well now.

Vincent is the only human left on that ship and Re-L (ReaL?) is supposedly dead.
So they're manufacturing "perfect" humans to keep Romdo afloat I guess ... not a lot of difference between "humans" and Autoreivs then ..

The directing for this episode is gold, it really gave me the creep when the mysteries are slowly being unravelled. Vincent's crew suffered a lot and the narrating for that part is somewhat deperessing. And the final scene also hit me pretty hard, Re-L is infact REAL? Something is amiss here, she was once a real human but then she was tunred into something i assume.

Vincent is losing everyone. His scenes were pretty depressing.

I guess the system that aims to raise model citizens isn't quite perfect. Re-l is obsessed with the Proxy, so she was probably too busy trying to get Vincent back to the city to worry about anything else; I think the sheer fact that there are people living out there was a revelation to her by itself.

The face of complete disillusionment. Her more bratty moments make more sense, now that I know she's just 19.

Ha, I've been critical of this series until now, but I guess it's to its credit that I can't keep myself away from it for too long. And I'm pleasantly surprised to find it's picking up speed in the story once again. Even if some of its dialogue really is on the level of the matrix in terms of spouting philosophical jargon and nonsense in an effort to look smart, at least it's doing so with some charisma.

A few things. I said in a previous thread that the use of philosopher's names for the statue AIs seemed pretentious to me. But as someone wrote they may be intentionally setting them up as arrogant. I mean, what's more narcissistic than getting named after a bunch of different intellectuals without any rhyme or reason. Oh, and there's no way Re-L is actually dead, although if they are I'll find it amusing that they killed off one of their two leads in such a manner so early on.

(Also, I don't to reply to an old comment, but lol at Vincest. Was that a Freudian slip or intentional? Cause if so I don't get it).

This series has been fun to watch but most of the people complain about 2nd half so probably shouldn't get my hopes too high right now.

Faking her death is going to make it easier for her to move around I suppose since no one will be searching for her.

Monad Proxy was taken from Mosk. Vincent was also from Mosk.
It's likely that the immigrants were acquired at the same time that Monad Proxy was taken from Mosk.
This answers the question of where the immigrants came from when the outside world is dead.

Also, womb room.
Confirms what we already knew, but with implementation details.

All of Lil's monologue is something straight out of the Matrix.
Even this human production line is Matrix-like:

Raul, that bastard! He hurt precious Lil like that. Vincent has a better looking face now. More hardened and manly. He almost looks like Mugen from Samurai Champloo now.
Don't care about any of the other members of the outside world, as long as Pino is still there, I'm satisfied.

The 'collective' is so confusing. Why are there seemingly statues of Greek gods governing Romdeau, does it represent the arrogance and ignorance of the city's leaders and the inevitability that the fall with fall, just as the Roman Empire did? Or is that a stretch.....

I also see that Re-l's make up got washed off her face, her city self is 'unmasked' and she now realises the truth.

Iggy quote that I laughed way too hard at "Re-l, are you okay? You look pale?". heuheueh

Maybe they're to represent different gods or heroes? I haven't actually looked to see what statues are which but since the show is angling for a more philosophical vibe it would make sense.

Seems a little silly that Re-l wakes up from her diseased coma only to get stabbed by a robot almost right away and supposedly die. She just can't stay on her feet.

The humans of the city being manufactured in artificial wombs which makes them not too different from the robots is an interesting idea and one that was foreshadowed by one of the statues talking about "increasing production" in response to the people killed by the proxy or how Pino's owner talks of being allowed to have a child but simply has a baby the next day rather than becoming pregnant. The idea is directly explained with a little monologue is simplistic, though. Just dropping it on the table like a sack of potatoes isn't very interesting.

Seeing Re-L without makeup really feels different XD

Seems finally, Re-L is starting to question the status quo and eventually break free of the system.

Seems everyone in the journey with Vincent has died except him and Pino. Can't stand the outside environment.

I'm still not exactly sure how the monad proxy keeps the city alive, that was more bothering to me than the re-l thing at the end, does it have to do with the baby production line?

I find it interesting the parallel between the controlled birth machines in the Dome and Vincent's whole group dying outside making him alone with Pino... anyway we're getting more information especially about the Proxies being somewhat of gods for the city (Texhnolyze reminders?) also Iggy isn't tracked anymore from the inside, though that end what a cliffhanger but I doubt that Re-l could die at this point of the story obviously.

Se conoce el misterio del Proxy y por qué es importante develarlo. Vincent Law está entre Rei-I y el Proxy. En el capítulo se entrelazan todos los elementos que anteriormente parecían fragmentados y poco entendibles
