What do you think about them?
Do you like it? dislike it?
Do you think it's a good storytelling shtick?
What are your favorites scenes or shows that shows this theme?
Do you want to see more of this theme being used in the future?

--

Me, I personally like the stories where there are other non- human entities with a different and somewhat malevolent nature(for example, they see humans as a source of nourishment etc.) and how those stories explore that particular idea. Good examples of this are Parasyte and Shiki(Tokyo Ghoul has potential but failed).

My favorite scene that shows this is where:

That made me hate and view the humans of Shiki as the real antagonists.

I certainly like more of these kinds of stories ala Shiki or Parasyte....(but not Tokyo Ghoul)...

Ajin, with it's portrayal of most humans as unethical/inhumane beings, is the closest I can think of.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it made me Hate humans though.
No anime has managed to make me feel that way yet.

I recommend you watch Shiki... haha!

There's a scene in Parasyte that will make you at least question the humanity of the humans in that show.

Oh, I remember that scene from parasyte. Probably one of the best scenes imo. It didn't really make me feel hate as much as empathy/sentimentality though.

Haven't had a chance to see shiki yet. Maybe I'll give it a try :3

Why should a story make me hate humanity? How does it help me to contribute to my existence or is insightful? Sounds silly to me.

Yep. That really shows how effective it explored the themes of "Can we judge a non human who act like human with our morality?" (at least in that scene).

I like these shows because they give me the a very good aspect on how almost every human being is. I think they're showing the real humanity and Ajin has shown us that in the two episodes.

It doesn't make me hate humanity but it makes me wonder, "Would I do the same thing(wrong) or would I do the right thing?." And that is the scary question here.

Jigoku Shoujo ( Hell Girl). That show brings out the worst in humanity .

Just a few of the many scenes that made me rage at humanity :

Don't talk to me about character development if Kaizuka Inaho or Slaine Troyard are in your favorites.

That's a good answer.
Ironically, those series try to show the viewer that there is a grey area when it comes to morality, but in the end they portray the sides either black or white. I'm referring mostly to Tokyo Ghoul,in witch both sides take turns in being 100% scumbags.

It's actually a movie written, drawn & animated (I think) by one dude. And it's straight up fucked in the ass.
It is worth checking out but I don't guarantee you will like it..

It is a problem in shows which are generally far too dark and portray all sites of the conflict as unredeemable pricks. Humanity in general isn't worth saving in such a shows, neither are the protagonists of the show. Worse examples are never punished and poses a more plot armour than protagonists so we can loss any hope in better development. In the end, it actually doesn't matter who wins and who loses.

Shows like Berzerk, Attack on Titan, Cross Ange, Akame Ga Kill etc. are heading this way and everything is so irredeemable that only happy end is extinction.

If I really had to give an answer... probably, Death Note. It's one of my favorites, though.

I didn't like the humans supporting Kira. I didn't like Kira and Misa.
For them, it's that simple and easy to pass judgment on humans, when it shouldn't be and they should know it because they're humans themselves with weaknesses and strengths and different situations in life. For me, they have a shallow concept of justice and poor understanding of what really corrupts the world and hence of themselves. I'm more of a Death Parade kind of justice girl, you see. XD (So yeah, i don't hate humanity. i'm just frustrated over the humanity in the Death Note world. XD)

I was also frustrated over the bias of the Kira investigation team towards Light.
Misa and Takada were disappointing female characters. And Sayu was too weak.
Only Naomi gave me ray of light, but Raye Penber limited her role and insisted on her being his fiance, neglecting her being an outstanding FBI investigator.

And although I like L and Near and Mello and (let's just include XD) Matt, I dislike their snottiness and apparent self-centered motivations (although I'm not feeling it's 100% that way, for you see, they're covered by this membrane of aloofness, pride, and savantism).

I was frustrated over everyone. Even over Yagami Soichiro for not being relatively intelligent enough. lol.
Probably, I only wasn't frustrated over Ryuk. lol Oh oh, I liked Shido! XD

And this is one of the reasons Death Note makes me sad. Not because it has poor characters and story (i think it's greatly written), but because the story depicts a sad state of humanity.

Death Note makes me ponder a lot about justice, humanity, etc. And the mystery and ambiguity in the characters, especially of the Wammy boys, really gets me and makes for a lot of pondering. I find myself delving a lot into their characters, which to me are more than just simply 'interesting'.

I hate any and every show that does that. I , as a human , want the human kind to be superior than all other kind . I don't care if it's fictional or not. I'll probably hate any show that states otherwise ( except DBZ ) .

One of the reasons I totally hated the 3d Avatar movie. It's not anime though.

For me it would have to be Guilty Crown, you basically end up by the end of the show hating most of the cast excluding a few. The humans in that show turn into the worst people and basically betray anyone and everyone.

Eve no Jikan's robot ethics committee. There's a lot I have against how robots are portrayed in fiction. We always have almost no control over their actions and no way to monitor them... isn't it weird, considering pretty much stupid information like a robot cleaner's schedule is linked to our smartphones nowadays? That's completely unrelated to how artificial intelligence works. It just feels bad. Humans should not be afraid of robots and humans have amazing control over robots. Why is that world acting that way?

Haibane Renmei's discrimination. The humans there are just disgusting. I'm glad it isn't worse than it is and the poor winged souls at least still have relaxed, enjoyable days.

I love stories of grey morality, but often they're not meant to make me hate humanity. They're meant to make me more sympathetic, understand all sides rather than one.
