| Not too many epic scenes that truly capture me in anime/manga/light novels. But when they do, I usually just have a minifreakout, pause what I'm watching or reading, take a few deep breaths and continue on. |

Aside from some well animated fight choreography, that movie is as bland as it gets in terms of pretty much everything else. |

I didn't say the opposite too, but I find most of fights (especially the last) so much better than most of Dragonball-ish, super-stylised ones because It gives me the feel of each hit can be lethal and they have some limits. It's kinda comparing Starwars Episode 4-5-6 fights with Episode 1-2-3 ones. |

| Well I don't find things 'epic' the way others do. I don't give a shit about boring cliche ass-pull predictable fights. Have no idea how everyone loves them. What I find epic are the plot-twists, constant tension, deaths of main characters, mystery and well executed fights [JoJo]. |
This is a good example of how I feel internally . Otherwise I scream like a mad person for a few moments . |

| Okay, so, since this is a thread about scenes, I might spoil something. 1. Most of the Fate/zero and stay night fights, they were fuckn cool, but the one I liked the most was Gilgamesh vs Lancelot (the Jet fight), I was almost literally with my jaw dropped, 2. Angel Beats! final scene, never cried so much! 3. Golden Time, when Kouko broke up with Banri, probably this scene made me cry the most after Angel Beats.. But then I cried happiness, when he remembered everything, what happened during his amnesia and when he came back together with her. 4. Clannad, first, it was a lot of sadness, when the baby was born, but it suddenly jumped 5 years later, where Nagisa was dead.. But tears of happiness came, when she didn't die, it was just "what would happen, if she died" 5. Code Geass, Shirley's death. 6. DxD, how Issei reacted, when Asia disappeared, but she didn't actually die. 7. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso.. That's all I will say. 8. Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai maybe too... That's what I would call "epic" scenes for myself since I'm a romance fan... But I also love actions and comedies, but for me, "epic" scenes are the ones, which make me cry... Or fights like in Fate |

Kinda agree with all, especially for the well executed fights where strategy, brains and tricks are more "cool" than "who put the Nuke button forst". |
