| I like how they are gradually changing the ED, gradually adding more characters. So far Tsubasa being very annoying character but he served well as catalyst for deepening mutual relation of Rokudou and Mamiya. In the end it was nice date and amusing park episode. Loved how Rika was stripping Rokudou-kun of all of his money. Dat plush panda though, I lol'd :D |
| Don't really think Rokudou was really ever jelly here. He was more worried about his job and his wallet more than anything else, plus, he still doesn't understand what the bitterness is, or why he was so happy that Mamiya said she'd treasure his er.... Dolphin... mehehehee..... Tsubasa is good foil though. He's more comic relief than actual rival, considering how completely oblivious Mamiya and Rokudou were of his advances on her. Good episode, I'm glad the megane-kun passed on. |

| The anime isn't particularly anything special so far yet I find it quite enjoyable. Though not much happened in this episode action-wise, it was still fun. I hope I have time to read the manga soon! |

Nowadays it's all about the "edgiest" series you can make. This series would be called "generic shounen" by many. In contrary, I like series that are simple and back to its roots. I don't need every single series to be mind-blowing philosophical debates or GoT-style character development. I appreciate simple lighthearted comedic stories such as this. I like the subtle hints embedded to the story. | I didn't take Rinne to be the romantic type. But it seems he has more in his heart than he lets on. Looks like there will be both love and business rivalry between Juomonji and Rinne. This has gotta be fun. Juomonji looks a lot like Miroku. But their personalities couldn't be more different. He's more like Ryoga than anything. Speaking of Ryoga. There were SO many little cameos in that UFO catcher scene! It was a goldmine with characters from both Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura. Though I gotta wonder, why is Lum's hair color purple?  Even in another cameo in Inuyasha, I think her hair was blue or something instead of the usual green. This episode was a lot like The Last Date chapter from Urusei Yatsura with the main characters trying to help a spirit to go on a date and move on from their regret. Since this anime is focused on ghosts and spirits I guess we'll see a lot more of these types of stories. |
