| The animation is great. The soundtrack is pretty amazing. Characters I like surviving. It was a good episode. Why all the hate? It's been mentioned before, but even with our current medical advances, a person can survive a shot to the head, depending on the trajectory of the bullet. People who put a gun in their mouth and shoot have been known to survive it. And Inaho isn't a robot (even if he has a robotic eye.) In all likelihood, he has something like Asperger or R.A.D, which is kind of cool. |

| I really don't get the hate for this series. I mean, sure it's not like greatest anime ever made or anything like that- but you're seriously going to call it a trainwreck and hate on it because the main characters didn't die? Kind of ignorant, really. Good episode, good start for the new season. The whole blood spatter/kiss thing giving Inaho the ability to use Aldnoah was kind of expected, considering it was shown in the first series that the ability to use Aldnoah could be transferred by what looked like a handshake. Slaine being the villain is pretty much the way it should be, he was one of the worst characters in the first season. He quite literally made every bad/wrong choice he could all through season one, so this is no surprise either. Inaho shows that he has grown some as a person, being able to make small talk and emote just a tiny bit. But the hate for him will never die because he's not some worthless, weak, walking bag of emotions. No surprise there. Go Go Gadget Eyeball! Gonna give this episode a 7/10. |

| Slaine shows this crazy statement "as long as someone is alive it's fine". Unfortunetelly it works only when the world "alive" is correctly defined. Anyway as for episode, it was "why are they all alive?" Sure I would probably get bored quite fast if there wasn't "Inaho OP mechs with his orange school gear" but this episode took away so much from the ending of season one. |
