Mexican.

I wouldn't REALLY want to change it, because it goes perfect with my skin color. It works with Mexican the best since everyone where I live is Mexican, except for, like, three people, lol.

I have white skin, you see, so when people ask me where I'm from and stuff, I tell them I'm from Mexico but they usually reply with "But you're white". Always fun to confuse people lol. Kind of a hassle to explain all of it to them, though.

I am a Chinese/Filipino mix, but I am an American-born citizen, and the only culture I do know like the back of my hand is American.

I wouldn't change my nationality, not even if I were given the chance. I really don't see any urgency in it. People will always be racist, and I will always be equally racist towards them. As much as I'd like to live in Japan (mostly because I like walking more than driving in bad traffic), I can always do that in the future anyways.

No shame in hiding who you are or pretending you're someone that you aren't, that's what I think.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

American. I would never change; this is my home.

Born in UK but have spent the latter half of my life in the US. To be honest I like the US better, but that's just based on my personal experiences in each country. I wouldn't change my nationality, I'm a proud Sicilian-Welsh.

So, can people explain to me why they are 'proud' of their nationality or race?

I think out of all things you can possible have pride for, this is by far one of the silliest.

Assassinating political leaders who didn't agree with the US, supporting brutal dictators in Africa and the Middle East for the past 40+ years~, Drones (especially Drones, more than most people realise) and ever war for the past 30 years were all for economic reasons (and especially corporate profits), exploiting poorer countries and 'stealing' their natural resources (US: 5% world population, uses 25% of the world's natural resources, example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_massacre there are many cases like this in the more recent past).

I think I'm actually feeling patriotic. Seeing it laid out like this...awesome. All of this is awesome.

American. Can't say I'm really "proud" but I like my nationality. Sure there are some things I don't like about the place but I don't plan to leave.

Man, I haven't you forgotten that all Americans start off the day by saluting the American flag and thanking god then go down the road to beat the gay out of someone? Then our way home we go beat the hell out of some minorities because we feel like it. That's the life every American live according to some people.

I think the concept stems from being confident in who you are, but some take it a giant step too far, for example, if you are Filipino, you were susceptible to that "Pinoy Pride" bullshit. In the Philippines it was called "People Power" and that didn't even get them anywhere (I am so ashamed by it, but I can't deny it happened).

American. I find my country humorous most of the time. Not proud by any means; the more information that gets leaked, the less I trust any part of government.

At the moment but I don't think for long. You are taking way too much immigrants to your country. You already belong to top 5 at crimes per citizen in europe and also your pisa scores are going lower constantly.

I'm American. I don't have a problem with the country in terms of location but I can't stand some of the people here. The vocal minority is just so frustrating some times. I don't really want to stay in the US though. I'd love to move and eventually get my citizenship in either Switzerland or Iceland. (I wonder if I could get duel citizenship since that would ideal) I don't know why but I'm really fascinated by those two countries. And you never hear anything bad out those countries which is nice.

Like 70-80% of Sweden is unpopulated, so why exactly are they taking in too many? Plus I can't really think of any example of a country that took in immigrants and became worse.

Although the Government in Sweden definitely needs to implement immigration better, immigration is a good thing, it only becomes a problem when; 1. there is massive unemployment, 2. you have high numbers of 1 nationality in one area, meaning the incentive to learn the language or to integrate is much lower.

Fix those 2 problems and there isn't an issue at all.

Okay, so this is what I got from this:
You should be ashamed of your dirty imperialistic nationality.
But don't be too ashamed, that would be shameful.

Y'know, just stop existing. You don't deserve nationality or humility.

Who cares about nationality? I don't care about it, so changing or not changing it would mean the same to me. It's a drag to change it though, so I'll let it be.
