BRS, what did I tell you about spouting useless one-liners and making comments about series you've never seen?

You keep saying you'll do better, but every single time this 'doing better' lasts maybe a day or two before you revert back to exactly how you acted before.

Next time you do this you're getting a strike and from then on, it will be strikes if you continue to do this. You have been warned countless times. I'm sorry to call you out in public like this but clearly me discussing this with you in private isn't leaving a lasting impression.

Yeah he means the anime. =D

My guess is that now that the big tournament arc is over they realize they can do fillers. Where they were stopped before there was no actual way to even do filler episodes because it was right smack in the middle of a tournament, so they had no choice but to put it on hold. After reading all the chapters that just came out, however, they could EASILY insert a filler arc in right after Fairy Tail gets home. It's almost like it was set up for filler. Let's just hope it's better than Key to the Starry Skies (which I guess by filler standards could have been much worse, but still wasn't great).

I officially BLAME FT for getting kissmanga closed down in my country! (apparently for having either pornography or racism)

I just finished questioning the authority responsible for banning all those "negative" websites in my country about what the reason for the ban on kissmanga
and their reply goes something like this: "It is banned because it contain some inappropriate comic, which shown nudity and hence is a bad influence for the younger generation of our country. For example one of the popular manga, I don't remember the name, that having magician and dragon, do you know what it's name? yes, that one has a lot of nudity and since that kind of comic is really popular especially among children and teenager, we were obliged to ban that website. thank you for your cooperation" .........

If... IF other manga streaming websites will be banned for the same reason...

Uh yeah you realize that KissManga has Aki Sora on there, right? Which may as well be labeled a hentai manga because all it is is sex, sex, and more sex. It also has Sengoku Rance among other essentially hentai titles.

I see what you're saying though and I do have to agree, Fairy Tail's fanservice factor has just skyrocketed for no reason. It was sort of out of the blue too, and the manservice has gone down significantly so it's no longer equal.

No Sushi, I didn't play the VN (Nor would I and I really dislike when guys try to convince me to play harem eroge VNs and it's ONLY EVER GUYS that do so) and I haven't actually seen FS/N. I have heard plenty about it's sexism but I was more making that comment because I thought it was funny. Also Fate/Zero was insanely sexist and flashy so that's where the comment came from. So yeah.

Of course I do. I mean, I also checked and read a lot of ecchi mangas back then in the web...... forget that.
I only got a bit annoyed since the authority just had to pick on FT, not to mention I have been fond on kissmanga ever since someone recommended it in this club.

Then again, I really wondering as to why the sudden increase of fanservice on FT... It's like the author is hitting another puberty

Yeah I'm wondering about that. It's really starting to bother me. And it's not just the fact that there's more of it- The tone has changed as well. Characters like Wendy are becoming subject to it which REALLY bothers me and the way the fanservice comes about is a lot more akin to an ecchi harem, and it isn't as silly and self-aware about it's fanservice anymore. Before, all the FT fanservice was REALLY self aware, so it was hard to be mad at it. There was also plenty of manservice as well so everything was pretty equal, but the manservice has been toned down considerably. I miss Natsu being essentially shirtless. D=

Now hope I ain't get in trouble on saying this line because of I knew I haven't seen the show and don't want to get another strike, but I want to get something out of mine chest on Fairy Tail that I can't hold it longer. When I first see the show with the pics, it looks immature series with too many fanservice out of a big 3 shounen shows. Just wondering in what episode does the episode fanservice goes down? Not interested, but just wanting to know. Hope you understand what am I saying.):

It doesn't go down. Fanservice (including manservice) is almost always present in Fairy Tail. Naturally, there are episodes in which they tone it down, episodes with hardly any fanservice, but there are also episodes which are full of it. In short, while fanservice is not always prominent, it's there throughout the series, and, as far as I remember, never completely disappears. It's part of Fairy Tail.

It is a SHOUNEN series, targeted to teenager up to 18 y.o , why should it be "mature"?

That doesn't mean there aren't shounen which can deal with some serious subjects/issues in a rather mature way. Same goes for shoujo or even some kodomomuke titles.

I know it's shonen with the whole age part. Why? Want it to be less fanservice for lesser fanservice comedy and more on to serious stuff, but this one looks to be more fanservice that can't take seriously to watch.

I've watched the whole thing and I LOOOOVVVEEED it. REALLY loved it. It's up there with Kaichou and Ouran for me and between them it's probably the best of the three, MAYBE tied with Ouran but in terms of consistency and sticking to it's guns it's better.

Edit: @BRS

Yeah, see, here's where you never seeing the series becomes a problem AGAIN.

Fairy Tail doesn't take ITSELF seriously, so YOU aren't supposed to either. That's why the earlier fanservice is fine. The more recent fanservice though doesn't have that same spirit, however.

Random question: How does everyone feel about Tokyo Magnitude 8.0? I've seen the first two episodes and I can say confidently that they were the two most terrifying episodes of anything I've seen in ages. Not stupid horror, like Higurashi or Elfen Lied or something, but truly scary because it's something completely uncontrollable that can and already has happened in the world, multiple times over. If it keeps this quality up throughout the whole thing it will probably become a new favourite for me.

This right here. Cipher has the best OST of all time, the greatest dance moves of all time, and the best documentary of all time.

Also, for all the terrible anime I've watched, and forced you guys to watch, I still haven't seen MD Geist. I should probably stop slacking and get on that soon.

I legitimately enjoyed Inferno Cop, the satire and commentary was outlandish, I wouldn't call it too much of an ironic inclusion. MD Geist I have yet to see, but I imagine it falls into the same boat as Cipher with being on the lists.

It's a very good watch. The real science and thought they put into the series helps make it feel like a more believable disaster story. Also, the ending has a very emotionally tolling/AND rewarding outcome. It'll get a little boring in the middle parts, but I promise it'll be worth sticking it out until the end.

Also, Forgone, Angels, Emmrys and myself embarked into the world of Mad Bull 34 last night. What a glorious creation. I am genuinely enjoying how over the top and stupid everything is.
