| Holy crap, Free! actually has female characters!! This anime is seriously for girls I mean there were so many ab shots and the male characters act so feminine. The manly tension between Rin and Haruka was too damn high. xD It was so stupid how Rin and Haruka took their clothes off ready to 'race' before they even realised that there was no water in the pool. The ED is catchy but the lyrics are pretty gay lol. However, I really like the OP. Based OLDCODEX :) If it wasn't for Gou, a potential love interest for one of the male characters and a potential tsundere, then I probably would have died. In all honesty, Free! isn't that bad except it's more targeted for the female audience. Us males had K-ON now it's for the females to fangirl over Free! xD |

| I generally liked it. The brief flashback in the beginning with them as cute, young boys made me feel awkward since the fanservice later on.. But I knew there would be some fanservice ( It's KonAmi. I watched Hyouka and that even had some! ) I was a bit miffed the Megane character isn't in this, but I suppose he's going to be the sixth ranger or something. |

I may have not expected it to turn that way since my first reaction was "What's that? They sound like they'd never hit puberty! If they all sound like that I'm not even watching-" That moment when Makoto walked on Haruka in the bathroom...this went through my head is.... Then I was really anticipating that Haruka wore something- I totally didn't want to see his junk. Other than that I think Haruka is the personification of my obsession with water. And if I were to suggest a pairing I'd go for Haruka x Water. -shrugs- Haruka & Rin work fine too... |

| I liked it. It looks really interesting, and I'm proud to say as I guy that I'll be following this anime and watching it to the very end and see what happens. The characters are so lively and interesting, it's nice to see something a little different once in awhile :) some guys in here need to man up, srsly get some balls. whining like a wuss and complaining about how 'gay' it is isn't making you look manly at all, if anything, you look pathetic. I don't see anything of this gay crap you guys are talking about and yes I see FANSERVICE, but fanservice directed towards girls does not automatically make it gay. |

| I liked the first episode. They didn't make the story so clear but I liked the start. The main characters were nice. I really like Haruka and Makoto. I can't wait for Rei. The animation was gorgeus. It dropped a little from the PVs but it didn't bother me. The water looks very realistic. The OP is awesome. I really like OLDCODEX and these rock-type OPs(like GRANRODEO). The ED was fabulous. The song is a nice pop song and the video is so random that you just have to like it. It was also catchy as hell. I liked the fanservice (I'm a girl.......heheh). I really like the fact that we girls got this type of anime. Now we can enjoy butt shots and not pantie shots! I think the fanservice wasn't that distracting but I think almost all guys disagree with me....At least you know how it feels to watch HOTD as a girl even though it was worse on fanservice(I know that even some guys couldn't watch it)! I can't wait for the second episode! Hope they get the plot going a little bit. |
