Actually yeah, some of the transitions were weird, like that part where Haruka suddenly woke up under that tree.

Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

Seems okay so far ed was hella funny reminded me of whatever 200% show from last seasons ed.

as for the show gonna take some time to get used to the crew personality, they aren't like the guys from Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō which is a shame but i get it was shocked it wasn't an all boys school not only that there might be a female lead so that's a plus

Took the words out of my mouth, but I'm not going to say "Gay" as my classification, maybe "Fujoshit."

Except for the little bits of fan services, which isn't my taste, especially when it's boy + boy fan service, it was an enjoyable episode.

6.5/10.

I love how people keep throwing around the word "fujoshi" as some sort of insult or something.

I wish there were some specific term for ecchi and harem fans. Besides "virgin", that is.

If I had to put my finger on what I didn't like about this show it would be that if all the characters were girls, they wouldn't have had to change one bit of dialog or (outside of changing the gender) the animation. It seemed as if this was originally written and drawn to be a standard KyoAmi feature with the typical KyoAmi Moe girls (including the glittery eyes) and then at the last second some marketing person decided they should make the characters male.

To be clear is isn't as if they guys were acting like girls, that isn't what I am saying - it's more that they ARE girls, just drawn as boys.

"Oh no. They aren't abiding by the stereotypical gender roles set out by society. That makes me uncomfortable."

But I would disagree with that anyway. Rin was pretty stereotypically male, and Rin and Haru's competitiveness was characteristic of typical male aggression or whatever.

I didn't mind it so much. It does have a lot fanservice and typical KyoAni moe but with males, but I'd feel like a hypocrite if I made that into some big negative considering I easily watch the reverse. I dunno if I will watch it till the end, but I'll give it a chance.

I may watch it just to see how girls into anime/manga/games feel when having to deal with all of the fanservice for guys.

That is actually an exact quote in episode 8 of railgun, Kuroko said it twice to Kiyama sensei.
While we had Kyon's voice-over narration, that was obviously what Haruhi's fellow female classmates would have said to Haruhi when she began to change for gym class in front of the boys.

There is two examples just off the top of my head, so it seems that it isn't as "rare" as you think.

This episode was hilarious. I didn't think kyoani would put in so much blatant fan service, but my jaw dropped somewhere between the absurdly dramatic shirt stripping and the unnecessary nudity (or hints thereof). What have you done, kyoani. You are about to make fujoshi ism mainstream.

It's stream of thought comments about the show with random Japanese thrown in (a basic mistake hints that his Japanese isn't that great). He's probably reading the various confused responses his post has generated and is feeling quite pleased with himself. It'd be best to ignore him, now and in the future.

Yeah, pretty much. If this were "Swim Girls," at worst we'd get a lot of eye rolling. Though, I almost expect that the show's creators were fully aware of this. Hell, when I saw that almost-naked apron after the bathroom thing, I thought "okay, this show is screwing with us."

Okay, so one girl changes for gym class in front boys...would KyoAni girls do that? I think not, or at least I hope not.

Actually, I don't think any perfectly sane girl would, to be honest. You'd think most girls have a least a little modesty. And privacy. And aren't complete attention hogging girls who literally are that desperate. Or that stupid.

Haruka has no shame, he will take it off no matter where he is, no matter who is front of him, no matter what
anyone says to him...he's definitely a guy xD

Ahh, this was so much fun! The boys are all so cute!
Ya know, it's good to watch anime full half-naked guys every once in a while. That being said, fanservice alone can't keep me watching for long if I'm not interested in the story. Fortunately, the relationship between Rin and Haruka has me interested for now.
I'll have to see where the rest of it goes though.

Yes, you are correct. This is anime, however, this is a KyoAni anime we're watching.
I'm pretty sure if a female character had chronic stripper syndrome it would kind of ruin the moe and
innocence they create in almost every show if you know what I'm talking about. Just a little.

Uncomfortable? Hardly, I don't have your hang ups. It would help also if you got rid of your bias when you comment. I specifically said I had no issues with boys acting like girls. Please pay attention.

As for Rin acting like a stereotypical male. Name one place. Typical Tsundere attitude.

Go back and watch the animation. Watch how the characters move. Then substitute female shapes for the male shapes. The hunched shoulder balled fist agitated figure is there (from two of the characters), the bending forward looking longingly into the other's eyes is there, the drooped shoulders apologizing to the teacher is there, the sharing of lunch is there, hell they wouldn't even have to change the characters names (indeed it is stressed that all four have female sounding names) - how much more obvious do they have to make it? The use of the ~chan between high school males?

If they were working at a Japanese inn instead of it being focused on swimming this would be Hanasaku Iroha.

Ecchi and harem can't compare. To make it equal, there should be a special dirty word for guys who like yuri. Something that can be flung around with the same amount of vitriol as the term fujoshi. In this way the world can become a better place.
