What do you think of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) OST/Soundtracks(?)

Hey don't get me wrong I meant that Shingeki's soundtrack is by far better and so is the anime than DAL.I think you misunderstood me lol snk fans in charge of reading comprehension. anything remotely resembling non 100% praise for snk is automatically disregarded as hating or trolling, even if its the opposite. for the sole reason that you arent praising SNK as the second coming of christ its funny, reading the snk threads with posts like this is more enjoyable than the show itself on topic. the only track that really stood out for me was the one in episode 1 where the titan kicked down the wall. had a sort of 'o fortuna' / rebuild of evangelion vibe. other than that, nothing special. inb4 delusional. |

| Can't say anything other than epic. I've always preferred Yuki Kajiura's works, but the OST to AoT is not that far from being as epic. |

| Listened to the whole soundtrack now and I have to say it was ... slightly above average. I'd maybe listen to 6 of them again (2, 5, 8, 12, 15, 16). On a sidenote it took me two minutes two actually notice that "Bauklötze" not only has a German name, but is also sung in German. After noticing that I listened to "Vogel im Käfig" again. To find out if this was sung in German as well took even longer. There was only really one word I could clearly make out (Which was "Schicksal" btw). |

| Honestly one of the best OST's for an anime I've ever heard. It's so epic and always sets the mood for whats going on in the show. It really shined in the new episode. DAMN I got chills when I was watching XD |

I didn't like 3.0's all that much in comparison, but I have to agree it was the only highlight of that film. yeah, angel of doom was easily the stand out soundtrack for 1.0 infact, that and the ramiel fight bumped my score from a 9 to a 10 2.0 just went all out though. destiny, fate, sin from genesis, the final decision we all must take, keep your head above the mayhem. easily the best single soundtrack for an anime movie. hands down. 3.0 had the wrath of god in all its fury, and sakura nagashi, but the second one doesnt really count since it was done by hikara utada. |

| I don't like how the tracks all go on for like six minutes and change midway into music with a different beat... sometimes just like entirely different music altogether. It comes across as if it's.... uncoordinated; like the composer just kept going until he got bored. A piece of music should have meaning and end when that's fully expressed. I like in the series when short bursts from the OST get used, and I liked the sample version of the OST for the same reason, but with the full OST I find myself skipping to certain points, or ending halfway. And that isn't how it should be. My favourite track is the 10th one: "E.M.A". The chanting has this tribal/physical thing about it that, for whatever reason, reminds me of Ben Hur during the ramming speed part. Pretty cool. |
