| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- such a waste of panels in this chapter. it was less of Dietrich relaying a message to Miria and co. an more of an actual exposition. since the first page hinted that the Alicia/Beth plot might get moving, a switch of POV just ruined the pacing of this chapter. and damn that Yuma for being dead weight again for Clare. she might have improved her abilities but with what they are facing now, she just no serves other purpose than to slow down the the rest of the Ghost 7. I would have preferred if Duph killed her on the spot. =/ |

| well i was reading it with bigger curiosity but in the end it wasn't anything special ;p just normal chapter about nothing ... only 30 pages ... 1 month of waiting ;/ at least we saw claire she's gonna head to Ritful cave i suppose she will find some info about raki from Rene ?? (or whatever :P) well i would like to see Raki ^_^ i almost have forgotten about his existence ... -_- if i were him i would implement yoma's cells and become Claymore ^_^ what is pissing me off are Claymores from organization they are so persistent ;/ i am sick of this blind obedience ;/ |

| First half of the chapter was pretty much just a rehash of what happened in the last few. The second half was pretty interesting of course, involving Claire and find a lead to Rafeala. Should be interesting to see how things develop from here. But man, all these Claymore names....I'm getting confused. |

| I agree the month waits are killer. When I marathoned to catch up, it was awesome. Oh well. Chapter was ok: lots of rehash, some action and a little progression. Claire cutting off the leg reminded me of Speed, "What do you do, hotshot?... Shoot the hostage" Only this time it was cut off the hostage's leg. It'll grow back anyway. |
| hmm... Riful, Rafaela, Claire and Alicia and Beth going to meet up? Sounds very interesting. And while Alicia and Beth are strong, they do have their weaknesses. for example, when Alicia awakens, if you were to take out Beth, then that would be the end of them. of course, that doesn't mean this is an easy task, but it is still possible. Just saying. but yeah, this chapter was such a tease. |

| At least its not your typical manga where " oh you are an enemy from the past, ive been training so ill just own you and move on" clare still had trouble against Dauf and had to retreat with her little weaklings. Looks like everything is being pulled together with characters finding out whats going on with everyone and hopefully Riful will show her face. |

Its nice to see this manga focus more on skill and tactics than strength. Especially Claire, who before could be considered "dimwitted" & "green" before the whole War in the North arc. |

| A rather fair chapter, it wasn't anything too bad, but compared to the last few chapters it was practically nothing. Nothing much to say about it except that I'll be seeing my favorite, Riful in a bit. |
| It kind of annoys me how Clare and them are played off as being so much stronger now than they used to be, and yet Duff is still a problem for them to the point of them having to flee. When you consider that Riful is much stronger than Duff, Clare and everyone are still far too weak to be the main players in this story. I hate when the power hierarchy of a manga or anime starts to not follow itself. Regardless, I still like the manga, but I'm more interested in seeing the Raki plot play out right now (And with Clare going to save that other Claymore, maybe she'll find out a little information leading to him?). With the month-long waits though, it could be a half a year or more until anything significant happens for all anyone knows. I wish manga these days didn't act on an such an endless and unknowable timeline. I don't really think that it should take decades to tell a single story, unless in the case that the individual parts work as a stand-alone story as well, such as a Star Wars type series. |

Is not that they aren't stronger that what they were is that there are certain circumstances. For example one of them got caught by a surprise attack and they had to leave so they can heal her. Also they wanted to avoid a big conflict at the moment. There power is obvious since they could easily escape him carrying a wounded one. Waiting for him to die with one move is too much since he is a very powerful awakening being. But if they had to stay there and fight him they would have done a lot better than the past. Let's not forget that Claire fought him with two very strong Claymores last time also. In basis is more like they couldn't afford to fight him at the moment instead of not being able. Anyway this chapter wasn't bad but it felt like it was more of setting the ground for what is to follow. I have one question. If the whole group gets together and they have Galatea with them how strong of a force are they all together? |

| Not a bad chapter. The Duph encounter is a bit odd, but eh, I agree with whomever said that they likely just wanted to avoid a big conflict. After all, you fight with Duph too long and who inevitably shows up? Riful. That equals not fun for three Claymores, no matter how strong they've become. The thing that bothers me is that this manga has a proliferation of very slight inconsistencies that become annoying after a while. For example, Cynthia says that Yuma isn't very good at regeneration, yet she's a defensive type, now obviously stronger than a level 14, as seen earlier, and she was the one in the War of the North whose entire left half got destroyed in the initial skirmish with the three awakened beings and she had to regenerate it. So, what the heck? Years ago, when she's a weakling, she can regenerate half her body (granted in a fairly long time), but now, when she's supposedly much stronger, she can't handle a leg? Yeah. Little stuff like this is littered throughout this manga and it's just sort of a let down every time I come across one. |

| I see people's point about Dauf, but his biggest strength is his huge armored hide. Strong as they might be, Clare and the others can't just cut through it. They probably knew it would take too long to fight him, and then they would need to deal with Riful, so they ran. |

Dietrich fulfills her promise and informs Galatea and Miria about the death of Isley of the North. I forgot the name of that bumbling giant but that was a crazy fight. Claire cut Uma's leg off with no hesitation, love that. I hope Renee survives this ordeal, I like her design and personality even though she didn't have much screentime.  |
