| THANKS GOD, they didn't give us recaps of Rukia and Chad! If I heard "Glutoneria" again, I'd probably die. And while I love Orihime, she annoyed me so much in this episode >.> I hoped that she will finally stand up, reverse time or something... it was like a perfect moment to make Orihime badass. Why, Kubo, why? Can this pink-haired dude die already? YAY, ZARAKI! Hopefully Hitsugaya will arrive too :D |

You're never going to make it through the anime this way. The fandom on bilibili started counting together and made a joke of it. You gotta laugh at it instead of raging at it. My fav was the comment about how Matsuoka Yuki sure knows how to earn easy cash. Anyhow, I couldn't help but laugh at the part when Peche pulled out his sword. Reminded me of Gintama so much. (Didn't help that it was Madao who saved Ichigo in the end xD) On that note, sorta knew from half way through that they were going to get rescued. And then near the end, the spoiler comments started inevitably coming (“大白！” [Nii-sama's nickname in CHN] “人家家长要来啦！”[Rukia's guardian is coming] during the Rukia scene. And then Kenpachi's name started surfacing and stuff~ so yeah Still interesting, though ^^ |

| This show has really mastered the art of dragging things out unnecessarily to the point its almost on par with DBZ in that regard, The bits with Pesche and Dondochakka were good but the stuff with Ichigo got on my nerves as they were wasting so much fucking time throwing him about and then conveniently deciding they were finished with him at the end. |

| I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to react to Nel's release, I personally expected something way more badass, but I guess I can settle for a centaur although, that was a tiny bit disappointing. That moment where Uryu broke the fourth wall and made that TV broadcasting joke was glorious, great reference to star wars my dude, and even more so, an amazing reference to Scarface “Say hello to my little club”, way to go. Thanks, god, Kenpachi is there, I don't care how he ended up right there at the right time, and I don't want to know, I'(m just glad a tough guy is finally here to kick so butt. I can confidently trust that he's beating up number 5 up mid diff at best, I would even argue that Grimmjaw is way stronger than number 5, I just can't see how he's numbered above him. |

I also think Inoue is not a fighter character, but in my opinion she's not a cheerleading character either. She can heal deadly wounds and she saved her friends so many times! They're not quite healing powers, it's actually a reversal of change, but even so it has the same effect. Even Aizen thinks her talent something of great value. That reminds me about "Naruto" when Tsunade said that it's critical for each team to have a healer among them if they want to survive. That's why I think Inoue is rather a very critical partner. |

One reason is that I find it easier and more exciting watching the anime. I can dive easier in the story. Another reason is that I found that manga can often be much more captivating than the anime (I know that this may seem contradictory, but it's what I feel) and I find in it things that I missed in the anime. Somehow I feel the manga is better than the anime, and if I'd read manga first I'd be disappointed in the anime. Also I can think more thorough on what's happening and my imagination expands quicker when I read the manga. And I shouldn't forget that I can analyse expressions, gestures and subtle things at my pace. |
