| Before anything else I must say: Shima is so CUTE! xD And he's so sweet~ He only gets to appear in two episodes, apperently, but I love him already :3 It saddens me that not many people comment on his cuteness/sweetness. But, moving on... Gosh. Even I can sense tears coming and I don't even know what happens >.< *gets tissues ready for the next episode* I can't help but wonder if it really will be a Makoto repeat...I mean, after looking at the cat and looking at him, they do sort of...resemble eachother. A lot. Surely that couldn't be unintentional. And the cat has to be there for SOME reason o_o;; I thought the cat was kind of random. But if there IS some kind of connection, then it'll make sense. Plus, she hasn't made her wish yet and she's upset right now....huh... Can't wait for the next episode...Hope it'll be up and subbed soon so I'll be able to resist spoilers xD It'd have so much more of an emotional impact if I don't know what'll happen first. |

| A great episode. Teenager Misae-san is really cute, a mix of Kyou and Kotomi in my opinion. Kinda sad anyway, and unfortunately, next episode will be even more :( |

| Episode was okay. Started out interesting and good, but the ending - come on! I think I'm the only one that was bothered by the end of this episode. I'm not exactly sure what it was exactly, whether it could of ended at a different spot or the fact that she just ran away. Anyways, I'm not gonna let one poor ending stop me, I'll definitely look forward to the next episode! |

| Uwah~ su-te-ki~ Misae's face when she was swinging Sunohara around =3 (+the battle screams XD) Poor Sunohara gets slapped, swung and divine punished for reasons such as being excited about Obento-san, and trying to sell someone else's Neko-san~ 0.0 Anyway Misae is becoming more popular with me every second, though...the end was great and I loved it, t'was still a bit...weird>,< Nothing to cry about =_= ne? | Watching this makes me glad that I chose the series. Clannad is great at showing emotion through characters. now that there's an Arc about Misae, it kind of adds her to the main characters. In the beginning of the episode, we saw the new world scene, and after seeing Okazaki thinking about "Granting a girls wish", the mystery of the "New World" came together rather fast there. I'm really looking forward to the next episode, it's too bad I wont be around to watch it though. And... Divine Punishment!!!! |

| Gah! This episode was amazing! :) Normally, I wouldn't pay much attention to Misae and she was just another side character. However, this episode (arc) is building up to something really good~ Jeez, poor Sunohara - he always gets beaten up! I loved the way how Tomoyo was falling asleep while looking at the cat and then we dissolve into Misae's past~ Shima is by far the most intriguing character I've seen in Clannad ~After Story~ so far! He's extremely sweet and cute - and I can't help but think that Misae's kitty is Shima... Uh, I can't wait for the next episode! I really want to watch - expecting something beautiful :) |

| woah. is it just me getting the sawatari makoto vibes here? one ultra cute cat suddenly starts staring intently at a drowzy tomoya, and a disembodied voice natters on about a wish. next moment, we get a GREEN-eyed guy popping up in an extended flashback talking about the One Wish. if this arc makes me cry as much as the makoto arc in kanon, clannad AS will be instant 10/10 for me. yea agree with the guy above me, misae is hot yea |

| here i am thinking this next arc would be pretty boring(shame on me) but damn it's another tearjerker! if this goes on, i'd probably be crying man-tears again by the end of this series. a few points again: - i agree that misae is hot(both the present one and the past one) - i agree that she is like tomoyo(hmm but she doesn't give off that kyou aura..actually she's more like tomoyo's blue haired clone) - and i also agree that shima might be that cat. for some reason at frist i was thi9nking that couldn't be possible seeing that clannad very much goes more into realism, but then i remembered fuko's random appearances in season 1...which makes nekko-shima a possibility. bt still, im hoping it isn't him and that misae soon meets him again(or at least i hope he doesn't die or something) |

| I did always like Misae's character, but I never planned on being so interested! This whole episode was eye catching. I think Misae's cat is giving him the visions, maybe thats how they will play it out. That way, Tomoya can help Misae. & since the beginning of Clannad involving the mysterious girl and the robot, I have always wondered what those flying orbs were. Am I mistaken for remembering Kanon having such? Could there, somehow be a relation to those lights, Shima possibly being Misae's cat and I've always wondered why they played such attention to the little kitty, always curled into Tomoyas lap...I wish I were he, and, is Shima the cutest effin thing everrr? It may be his amazing eyes and adorableness that somehow remind me of Honeyyyysempaai! +, the ending song is cute...but it irritates me how it plays after such a dramtic ending, seriously ;__; 'dango' would have been perfect, lolz. |

| I think she reminded me a lot of Chidori Kaname, but I think it was the rowdyness added to her voice. As a matter of fact, her younger self is like a middlepoint between Kyou and Tomoyo. About time we got actual drama instead of forced and complicated series of events. The ending was kinda odd... why's she running away? |

But I feel very nostalgic just thinking about it... Well Kanon was the same, I did not cry, but rather enjoyed everything from it. Mai-chan ftw!! ...I love Key! I wonder if their 2 newest games will get animated by Kyoto too... Rewrite and Little Busters!. |

| Well, this episode made me very sad yet happy since we get to see Misae's past, even though I already played the game and I know what it's going to happen... I wont tell the rest, but this is suposed to be the spoiler of what happens in the game, but let's see how they manage to tell us the story. But still, I love to see this arc animated ;_; and I already love Shima-kun. |

| So they couldn't think of a better way to transition into the real story than to just abruptly go there in the middle of a conversation? Unless that cat has something to do with this story, that was just very lazy, and horribly lame. Not a fan of Misae's story either, there seemed to be something between her and the ex-musician guy, but I guess it is "better" to introduce us to this "too nice" Igarashi. |

The song isn't bad, but definitely too happy for this anime. And they skimped on the animation. I think they need "hopeful" song, not a happy song, which fits the mood better. I found the dango ED and kanon's ED were "hopeful" songs and even fit in when the more dramatic parts of the series were presented just before the ED song. Too bad because the OP is gold. |

| Wow is KyoAni planning to do an arc of the week type of thing? There was no buildup to this arc at all. That was just a bad transition of stories. We have Sunohara being completely out of character the previous episode, then we have him back to his usual antics the next. I'll withhold judgment for this arc until it finishes, but it already gets a minus for the bad transition between the previous episode and the start of the actual story arc. The question I was asking myself as I watched this episode was "where the hell did this come from!?". 2/5 |

The question I was asking myself as I watched this episode was "where the hell did this come from!?". 2/5 i have to agree with pimptoad. while it has been some time since i watched the first clannad, i *think* the transitions were smoother there; there was some indication of a upcoming change in focus before the current arc has ended, so it all nicely shifts to the next arc. In ~after story~ it was almost 2 short stories with the only commonality being tomoya and nagisa's presence. Sunohara reverts back instantaneously, Mei disappears off to wherever it is superfluous little sisters go after they've fulfilled their storyline requirement. Another little peeve i've had so far with the series is how the 3 of the leading girls of the first season: Kyou, Ryou, and Kotomi ONLY appear so that there are people to deliver the requisite dialogue in the scene. About the tear-worthiness of clannad AS so far, in my opinion, it hasn't really delivered so far. the sunohara arc was kinda far-fetched, what with sanae posing as the girlfriend.. but the current arc seems to have potential. will just have to wait and see |

| Young Misae is very cute. Awesome episode and I enjoyed it. I lol'd at Misae treats Sunohara the same way as Shima. When I saw Shima at the first time, I have a feeling that cat is Shima. |
