| It's a bit confusing as to what exactly is going on but this anime is great! It's a bit strange and it gives it a really creepy feeling, I love this! And what exactly was that like box sized house? Creepy but great. |

| Yeah, this is definitely addicting and the dialogue is pretty compelling. Hope that it stays interesting and that things will wrap up nicely. |

| I think Amemiya is Kanako's fiancee from an arranged marriage. There some subtle hints that bring me to this conclusion such as when he hesitated to call himself her "guardian," and when he said their "family arrangement is complicated." Yoko is lying about being her sister and is actually her mother. It would explain why Kanako tried to kill herself too, to avoid the marriage. The age gap might be questionable but this is set in the early Showa period of Japan so could be possible. |

| Facts: Cicadas are a must in any rural summer anime; Local police is always useless; Yoriko is unbearable; Kanako is alive; Kiba is hot. Ah, short-haired cheerful nosy girl with exorcist brother. Really now? Wonder if it's a Clamp-put memory of Tokyo Babylon (reference) or a plot point in the original manga too (rip off). Literally nothing happened in the first half and the slow pace seemingly won't change anytime soon. What was that sunset drive with badly chosen light-hearted music while discussing murder and mutilation? |

| I'm still very confused lol this episode went by quick, but I feel like not much actually happened. We were also introduced to like 5 new characters, maybe 6? Unless two of them just look really similar but they're not the same characters. I have no clue, and I have no idea why that antenna at the end was important. Also Yoriko is pretty annoying. Please tell me she won't be like this the whole show. |
