This series has I think 3-6 episodes. Each episode is a new short story with different characters and plot. The episode I remember most is there is a 20 something guy with some other female. His grandfather/maybe father had passed and he has left him some sort of treasure hunt to do (no actual treasure, but sentimental object etc). The grandfather in flashbacks is unforgettable because he was this long, gray-haired gamer (think it was like a Super Famicom he was playing) and wore a backwards cap.

Those are most of the details that I can think of. Any help would be appreciated!

Eva-01 (pre-Rebuild looks) against some freaky angel I've never seen in any continuity, it's probably fan-art, but it looks pretty animation-like, more than expected for a fan-art, I just want some confirmation in the unlikely case it's something else (art of one of the many AU mangas, early draft, etc,)
and if that's indeed a fanart, I shall say that the OC angel looks pretty convincing (for an early-series appearance, before the angels get more... complicated)
