| It depends on what some of you guys mean by "cockblock". If some characters weren't cockblocked, the anime would have been a hentai instead, and of course most of you critics would bitch about that. I guess some people just don't know what they want. |

| Characters that change personality for no reason. Characters like Ganta (from Dumbass Wonderland), Amano Yuuki (Mirai Nikki) and Renton (Eureka 7) who just whine a whole lot and when they get thrown into a situation they just freeze up and start crying and denying they are there in a fit of self-deceit. I hate those sort of people. |

| What makes character annoying? "A Boring Brand of Evil" is the most annoying character type in anime history. So, This one is the best example to answer this question. Let me introduce, Noumi from accel world.  A boring, scum, and pathetic villain. No motives, no facets, and forget dimensions. The so-called force of evil has no personality perks independent from his thin villainous persona, which is played up to such a ridiculous extent. A pathetic bag of tropes made to illicit as much anger as possible from the audience. |
| Tsunderes who are constantly shouting and hitting their love interest. Terribly written characters who only serve the purpose of any kind of fanservice. Perverts and fujoshi characters. |

| There are a lot of things that can make an anime character annoying. Common things I dislike would be "violent for no reason", "acts dumber to make someone else look smart" and "to cool for everything". |

| if a character has inconsistent motivations or reacts to things in ways that contradict their previous motivation (and their change in behavior isn't dealt with by the narrative). characters that are just annoying in a more traditional sense don't really bug me i guess. |

| to me is when: - is rude to other for nothing - screams a lot - does nothing but get in the way of stuff - doesn't accept when things don't go their way but to me the most annoying of them all: when a character is really childish or dumb as hell and do a lot of things that are stupid, negative or bad for other people but no one gives a shit because this character is dumb and everyone is like 'ooh it's just his/her way.. ' god, I don't mind when they are dumb or clumsy or anything like that I just don't like how they are insentive about stuff they do |
It's funny how with the exception of Yoshida (who I don't know), both Usopp and Shinpachi are one of my favourite character from their respective anime. However I can see why you can think of them as annoying. |
