Damn, Inori can handle herself! Finally we saw Tsugumi's void power as well. That clone/hologram power really came in handy immediately huh? I'm glad Shu is getting more and more confident each episode. His character is really growing on me (unlike a certain Yukiteru from another currently airing series). He's getting more recognition too. They saw what he is capable of against that Endlave and on stage. Let's see how he'll fare as a leader. That Void ranking system really goes against Shu's and the Undertakers morals. Suddenly not everyone is equal, but the ones with the strongest void are the most valuable. All in all I'm really liking this part of the series now. I'm really curious about the plan they'll come up with to escape the quarantine zone. |

InoriYuzuriha said: Love this. Damn 5/5 like ever xDD Inori is scary. AND SHU...BADASS. Yup. I got the same thoughts. I also like how Hare's Void is ranked very high, and how Inori's is "over 9000" (well at least over 2k to be fair :P). Meaning, Hare's "healing" Void has very high capabilities, not necessarily like reviving the dead (though it might), but like being able to restore things like buildings getting blown up, and repairing Mecha (Endslaves)... could be very awesome and useful. Inori's just badass, nothing else to comment on. |

People sure have some funny post about inori, and no this show is just ok now, the first 2 ep ripping off other anime. I fixed that for you... Dredd said: MorningGlory said: ^ having inori as favourite character = stupid? oh lord.... Crazy unofficial rules around here isn't it? lol. Its the same people going on with the Inori attack from almost the beginning. Its funny as hell to see them show so much dedicated hate. Not crazy, she is what I would call a "lemon heroine". She looks very beautiful(that I cannot argue with) but lack inner continents that make her interesting, or even CHEMISTRY with the main character. When the series is so badly handled, we would talk about the characters... Well the character didn't start off exactly "good", so thus all the hate on her, I strongly dislike her btw. Oh, another factor is that a character with seemingly much better chemistry with Shu exists in the series. IMO if I wrote this story I would have made either Ayase or Hare as the main heroine...... I can't somehow relate Tsugumi's void with her feelings inside. :/ WTH?? Inori have to go that far?? WOW, SHU YOU'RE SO BADAS- Wait. You can draw voids without looking and already knew what his void looks like? I was thinking the same about the school personnel. Well it isn't that important, and if the explanation was already given then I missed it, so meh. And I like what Inori did there. I expected it, but it was still nice to see... I'm tired of the heroine being always the damsel in distress. |

Shit show going for every piece of shit low blow in order to catalyze sympathy, stop it with the pointless borderline sexual assault in every other episode. Super convenient voids don't help either. That chick's void makes clones, that's fine, it suits her, she's lonely, so the clones is essentially a manifestation of how she copes with them. Shu pulling out a random void to fend against a gun is bullshit. |

Whoa....never noticed that this show attracts a lot of trolls... Anyway. Shu was pretty awesome with his plan and 'speech' and everything and I'm glad he finally did take lead (even though it was forced) but I sense some bad drama coming up if he really goes with that heirarchy thing. Well....I guess it depends on the specifics of the hierarchy.....but by "worth" is rather vauge....perhaps by category.... Shu! I hope you realize that! D= Aside: I have to agree that bit where he pulled that shuriken-like thing out of that dude to knock the gun away was like "whoa....random luck...." Also....with the hierarchy thing...does that mean he's gotta extract and check to see what everyone's void will be now? o___O Awkward.... |

i liked this ep this series is starting to get better imo, i was wondering when tsugumi would get episode, and i finally see her void which suits her lonely self, and finally shu is becoming more of a leader, i was expecting him to become the leader of funeral parlor but he is also becoming the leader of the school and yahiro is telling him to become a king and rule over the students and use their voids, even ranked them on how powerful their voids are, i caught a glimpse of that in the first op lol but didn't think it had any relevance to the story, shu is now wearing his guilty crown also what is up with inori her void was over the limit meaning that she would be at the top of the list as her void is the stongest but i dont really understand how her void is a huge blade. the thing that made me laugh was when she beat the crap out of the guys who trying to check her back/rape her i mean i totally thought shu was gonna save her and then i remembered that she could take down a armed soldier twice her size without any problems and she was so casual after doing so aswell, i wonder if she killed them lol |

Only one question: WHY IS EVERYBODY IN THIS FUCKING SHOW A RETARDED IDIOT?! Seriously, VOID SOCIAL DARWINISM?! This plot has more holes than the whole cheese in Switzerland and Austria combined. Shu's moms till working for the GHQ despite the things that happened during the past episodes? And the most important question. Why are there still people that think this show is good or even great? They're probably the same people who would support such a void social darwinism or the Nazis back in the 1930s. This just so fucking ridiculous, people who take this seriously should check their brains. |

"Void Social Darwinism" is to rank people acoording to their strength. It's only natural, since in War time we can't call the combat ability of a cripple and a trained combatant on equal levels. It's hierarchy, not Nazism or BS. Void is basically a new frontier of weapons, like when Airplane was introduced, except you cannot improve the Void you have, so having one of that is only natural. Especially in wartime, you wouldn't want to have a guy with half useless void next to you do you? Especially if you are the "'king" So yeah, show is getting better than the first half at least. Also the plotholes exist because they messed up the director lineups... At least what i think, the Head directors is not excising his powers enough, the series should be consistent at least |

It gives her a dark innocence. I totally understand that as that is part of the reason i like her too. And she's not totally void of feelings as just she don't understand what she's feeling. I wouldn't say she's my fav character in the show as Gai was actually that at the time. But its just hilarious watching folks put up unofficial rules on liking a character on a anime forum.lol. And attacking folks for liking a character, wtf is going on here?.lol. |

Trolls or people with common sense? If you watch the show again from episode one, this show makes absolutely no sense at all. |

And not only that, it literally fills someone with rage who much they ignore certain points like the whole deal with Haruka for example. |

I watched it from episode one on a whim and so far almost everything makes sense. I repeat Almost. Yes there are a few black spots I am curious about but nothing to automatically shelve the series into the trash section with all of the other Anime I've loathed. |

Granted, there are a few legitimate plot-holes here and there, but not as many as people like you (with "common sense") are "pointing out". It's because of these plot-holes and small inconsistencies that I am not rating this a 9 or 9.5 right now. |

Maybe in episode one I was a bit but after that I didn't see anything stellar. The music is good you can't gripe on that so what's wrong with enjoying it? Lol I stopped caring about fanservice ages ago. I'm sorry that you are one of those people who need to have every step anatomically explained for you to enjoy a journey. |

i dont think inori is as bad as people are making her out to be, she isn't my favorite but i cant seem to hate her and i sorta like her, i think she is alot like shu in many ways as she is unable to express her feelings properly and show much emotion and she can only express them with her singing and her songs she is somewhat mysterious as not much is known about her past all i know is that she is a clone or vessel created specifically to host mana and had no other purpose until gai gave her a name and a purpose, i think that is why she is the way she is, also im a bit curious as to why her void is so strong and why its a huge blade |

There is still much we don't know so to pass judgment so soon is simply biased and retarded. I don't hate her, I like her a bit cause she interests me like the cat in the box. An interest to see what truth she has lingering underneath. There is clearly more or else the show would have ended on episode 12. |

@Darklight0303 No-one cares a shit if you enjoy it or not. Guilty Crown is objectively horrible, and some people actually care about the quality. Only uneducated plebians rate this highly. |

Also here's some food for thought. If even the slightest imperfection makes a work unqualified as a masterpiece, why is The Venus de Milo still considered such a valuable masterpiece hmm? I mean it has no arms. By your logic it is now a piece of trash. A masterpiece =/= Flawless. I admit the shows I have watched have flaws. But not enough to make me feel any less about them. The rating system is meant to be used to reflect YOUR personal opinion. If you wanted it to reflect the oh so high standards, then it should not have been made available to all. |

Not going to quote everything I'm responding to because it'd take 8 years. Inori has had some sort of superpower deal going on since episode 4, where she fuckin' FLEW LIKE SUPERMAN. Explain. They pan to Haruka when they're discussing who exactly is piloting the mecha. If they weren't implying she was partly responsible for that, then it's just another point against them for terrible story telling. We know Shoe cares about his friends, but that's not going to all of a sudden make you talk like you're the biggest BAMF to ever live. I never said anything about Shoe being the one who proposed the Void ranking system, now, did I? "A FEW legitimate plotholes"? What show are you watching? Darklight0303 said: 14 episodes--over half way through--is PLENTY of a foundation for judgment.Exactly. There is still much we don't know so to pass judgment so soon is simply biased and retarded. There is clearly more or else the show would have ended on episode 12. Mentioning episode 12 reminded me of that catastrophe, where they pulled another dozen cliches out of their ass and tried to explain/reveal EVERYTHING in 3 minutes, and shove metric tons worth of plot-critical information into your face in no time. Good story telling would forshadow things gradually beforehand, and reveal plot-critical points over time--rather than stuffing EVERYTHING into a 21-minute span. Now, if they had actually spread all of that over episodes 3-11 and stayed consistent and cut the asspulls (Deus Ex Machina), they might had something good. But they failed. Because the Venus isn't a shitty clayman a kindergarden kid made in 5 minutes. Monster could be compared to the Venus, Guilty Crown is just really bad. And that just now made you sounds very pretentious. You have D.GrayMan in your favourites ffs and dare to try to about arts? Don't make me laugh, you illiterate prick. Read some good books about dystopian societies like Brave New World before you try to argue for this piece of shit anime. |

Hungshu said: I like most of all this ep but at the end I find rank person by void point was really ridiculous casue every void have diffent effect it can be use in diffent situation how can he made rank like that... *nod* It's very situational. Water would be the best thing in the world for someone dying of thirst in the desert, but to someone drowning it would be worthless. It's hard to rank voids for the same reason, each of them are so unique and specialized it's hard to compare them side by side and judge which are better. |
