| Kinji could have known there was something wrong with the waitress judging her by her behavior since she didn't wait for him when closing the door and she was back way to fast. This is pretty much till as far as i read the manga and Riko being the criminal didn't come as a surprise i wonder how she got an the plane faster then Kinji tho. I am also wondering to how much truth there is behind Riko's words there seems to be some things that don't add up and it's still to early for the main villain to show up. And Riko's seduction was pretty nice and interesting to see that Kinji didn't fall for it. Aria was surprisingly cute being afraid for lightning. And nice of Kinji to comfort her. I wonder what will happen next with this major cliffhanger which seems to suggest that Kinji will come in his Hysteria mode again. P.S. Since when is the European Union a criminal organization? |

| For you guys who wonder why Kinji stopped at Riko's throat: It wasn't mentioned in the anime, but according to Butei Charter Article 9, Butei cannot kill, regardless of circumstances. I really didn't expect her to be the villain. What I think is weird, is that they fought against the main enemy in the 4th episode, in most shows it's the last fight. I expect more enemies to appear. And also, EU? I assume it's not the European Union, but it is the same abbreviation. J.C. Staff is conspiring against Europe? | Riko's obviously the only good character on the show so far (not counting Kinji in his Hysteria mode, but I don't think that's ever going to show up at a "proper" moment) and now that she's been revealed to be a villain, she's not going to be here for a lot longer. That being said, 3/5 for the episode. It was a lot better than the last 3, but that isn't saying much, considering the "quality" of the series so far. Wasabi said: What. The. Fuck. Did. I. Just. Watch? Holmes? Lupin? Really? Really? REALLY? And then.... GUNKATA FIGHTS? What? And then.... MAGICAL HAIR OH BAH GAWD. So Aria gets shot up at pretty much point blank range but doesn't go down but only at the oh so plot critical moment at the very end. The only thing saving this terrible show is the completely outlandish shit they pull out of their asses during the fights. |

I'm quite sure Arsene Lupin and Sherlock Holmes never interacted with eachother. They're two entirely separate literary works written and set in two entirely separate countries. I'm not even entirely sure the years they were set in overlapped, though I'd have to check to be sure. Arsene lupin was a thief, not a serial killer. How does killing sherlock holmes' descendent indicate surpassing lupin at all? It's not even playing the same sport. I forgive because it's cheezy funtimes. Guns as a melee weapon. Guns aimed intentionally at the bullet proof garments (the entire fighting style was based around that). Admitting ammo to be the biggest limitation, yet not acknowledging how much better this would work if they just used knives. Doesn't aria have those katana, or did they not let those through airport security? Yeah, there's not a single part of any of that which makes sense. I forgive because it's liquid awesome. Kinji's deductions took leaps in logic that would make a vulcan cry. I forgive because it's badass. Prehensile hair? Ridiculous. I forgive because it's par for the course really. Also, pretty neat. Wonder what else she can do with that hair? Just according to keikaku was farfetched even by the standards of such things. I forgive because it pretty much had to be her based on the evidence, so the goals were kind of superfluous. Who the hell did Aria's mom piss off to get that done to her? The EU I guess. Whatever. I forgive because I'm pretty sure that's a future plot point. All together, it was a very fun and awesome episode. Cheezy in the way the best of B movies are cheezy, and fun in a comparable manner. Having fun with this, but definitely interested if there was ever a time that a moment of this made sense. As is it's like chewbacca on endor. |

Plus, Riko I assume doesn't have hysteria mode and she dodged bullets in today's episode, so we've pretty well established that this is something a skilled enough human can do in this series.
