| Hirono is a great male lead. He isn't clueless, he actually already knows the answer to his dilemma. The problem is that he didn't want things to change and he is usually half-hearted when it comes to making important decisions. Yuko didn't tell him the answers to his problem due to him knowing it already, but just nudged him to act on it. The irony of the whole thing is that both Kei and Hirono were both contemplating on their relationship before, but their indecisiveness prevented them from confronting their budding feelings for one another. If only they weren't so half-hearted, they would be a couple right now but we wouldn't have such a great story arc =P Pity...xD |
| I also greatly enjoyed this ep... this ep singlehandedly boosted up my opinion from a 7 all the way to a 10! good thing there were two emotional moments, since the first one was ruined by an AIM jingle from my friend :wtf: |

| hey this was a great epsiode. I liked how they ended the love triangle. Quick question...does anyone know the title of the music piece that was played during the Kei and Hiro scene? Or does anyone have a music score or anything lol |
| I was very happy with how the triangle finished, Miyako forever <3. I'm amazed that the two best scenes in this show cost SHAFT fuck all to produce, great originality from SHAFT and great work from the VAs. I think I've watched the 2 phone call scenes 3-4 times each, just great work. @ premi3re The soundtrack for ef doesn't come out to Feb 8th IIRC from looking at Nipponsei's site, Tenmon has done a great job with it imo and also composed the OP which is quickly becoming my favorite this year. |
| Bah, I've always been intrigued by Ef's description, back when I was looking for Fall anime to watch 3 months ago. But Blue Drop, Shion no Ou and Ghost Hound sounded even better, so I left ef alone until these last couple days. If only I started ef sooner... This episode finished the Hiro-Hiro/Miya-Miya story spectacularly. Nuff said, everything has basically been said already. |

| This was a very fitting ending to the Kei/Miyako/Hiro story. I'm looking forward to seeing how Chihiro and Renji will fare next. |

| I rather enjoyed it, I've liked Renji's ordeal a whole lot more but this was still pretty nice. I thought that the whole phone sequence was done extremely well, it added a ton of suspense for just using one scene of a cemetery and the counter. |

| The countdown was pretty epic. I didn't think the result could end like it did, but it was well executed. Hirono has become my favorite nonaction male character. It was that random girl that saved the day, the blonde one. |

I got used to there being 2 stories told with each new episode, but I liked it that they finished it all without a cliff-hanger in one episode, even though they didn't include Chihiro-chan in it. :) Therefore, Next episode will be devoted to her story I believe. This anime so deserves a perfect 10... |

| Yaaaaaaaaaaay~ I'm so happy Miyako gets Hiroko's heart, she deserved it. I didn't expect it after the scene with Kei, but I'm glad it turned out this way. The phone call was just beautiful, reminded me of the calls in episode six. |

| Miyako's decision was a little rash, unexpected and selfish but it's understandable where it's coming from. Kudos to her; Hirono's a wreck right now. Loved the "half-assed" scene and the Shindou Nagi-manga scene. Genius. Pure genius. That build up on the phone conversation was so well done, too...gosh it's perfect. But someone explain to me what's going on? It seems like Hirono chose Miyako but what was with that scene right before it...? |

| The Kei scene was really intense, the background music complimented it justifiably. The rest of the episode was nice lol. It instantly went from a 9 to a 10 for mine and I have scarcely given out perfect scores. How the ending plays out will decide it's final rating however. |

| Glad to see that Hirono has found his resolve, incredible closure this episode, typing up of loose ends and emotional stages throughout, an incredible episode, the count down initially irritated me but then I got caught up in it and the ending was just ... xD |
| Counting down for so long was so annoying at the beginning, especially when you could still hear the beep. but as the conversation got stronger and the beep faded away it really got intense. im glad it went how it went |

| As it is, yes the episode was intense and amazing. The only thing that ruined it for me was the fact that they jumped into bed so fast. If they hadn't done that, this episode would have made me a Miyako and Hirono fan most likely. (Especially with the countdown part.) While I was watching the episode, I just couldn't get past that part. It made their love feel... I don't know, impure? Stupid? I don't know, those don't seem right but that's the closest I can get to how I felt about it. But seriously, this show would be a 10 for me if the bed scene didn't happen, because this episode was very lovely. |

| The beginning was very depressing. For, I was glad that Camera Guy gave Hiro a little taste of real life. I know he's better for Miyako, but he's hurting Kei, and he needs to fix that! Oh, and I lol'ed when the blonde girl told Hiro that Nagi's work is getting worse. It was like a wake up call for him. Ohh, and I got chills when the mysterious blue haired girl gave everyone advice. I was like, man, without her, the show would crumble as would each chracter. And surprisingly enough, this was the ONLY episode I have cried in so far. And no, it wasn't during the phone call. It was the Kei and Hiro "break-up but I still love you as a sister" scene. That seriously tore my heart apart. I'm probably one of the only ones who actually appreciated Kei as a character in the story. I'm probably one of the only ones who didn't say "She's such a bitch!" I actually truely admired her personality, because that's how teens act in real life. Jealous. The ending was cute, though, of course(: I'm happy for Hiro and Miyako. I'm glad that Kei said "I'll be hurt for awhile, but I'll recover." | Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Hiro looking for a threesome? Or was Kei dreaming? Other than that it was an interesting episode. I almost got that feel of sadness that makes you want to cry but Kei and Hiro did not kiss, so it killed it. Also I was expecting them to jump to bed soon after she confessed. I have to admit I was looking forward to that. |

| BRAVO.. This was my FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE WHOLE SERIES.. I think I said the same thing for Episode 7, but hell, this episode just had to put in the phone-call situation again. The phonecall between Miyako and Hirono was the 2nd BEST scene in their arc (the 1st being Miyako's voice messages to Hirono). Even though I still didn't get to cry to this show yet, I was still watching this episode with my jaw wide open. |
