Nice episode. Kept me on high alert and on the edge. I figure the BD will actually show Yuno stabbing Reisuke instead of completely cutting out.

no, even in the manga there is a black panel, they will just uncensored the knife i guess.

Great episode! I only disappoint at the censor knife scene and how the anime rushed the ending conversation between 9th and Yuki. At least they should include this scene from the manga so that the viewers don't have to wonder why 9th didn't kill Yuno and Yuki

Oh i see, makes more sense now.

This is turning into some serious mind-fuck. The kid's traps were a bit too well set up, but this episode was brutal as hell.

"She's your greatest enemy" By this I guess the fourth means that Yuno will always know ahead what Yukki will do and where will he be. It's a scary thought really...

Talking about the censoring in this episode, this will be hilarious when they animate chapter 52.
But who knows, maybe it's only the gore they'll censor like that. I at least can hope, can't I?
Yeah I checked. Crazy shit at that point. Crazy! They might not put the details with the nipples but you know they might do it like they did with Minene's breasts. They can do that and that part will not change much. Just for your information from my experience in anime. That part is not explicit like let's say parts of Yosuga no Sora less they do it like that.

Obviously I am all for heightening the scene but more so in the emotional field than anything else over it. That is as of this episode what this series does and that makes it better. Tsubaki's arc is the best example for me of that effect being a fan boy of hers.

DAYUM, very nice episode!!!!! Full of action, and full of win. I mean REALLY FULL OF WIN!!!!
I have no clue how a kid got that kind of knowledge about controlled, and lethal poisons, let alone know where to get them, but meh, makes things interesting. And that diary was.. WEAK!!!! But the kid is smart though, very. Loved it!

So... Where can I buy a pixelated knife? LMAO

Okay so what the heck was up with Yunos meditation thing? She like had a vision or something. Whats up with that? O__o

So why does it seem like a lot of anime shows are being censored nowadays? Or am i just bad luck?

Its highly unconvincing that kid would be that smart ¬___¬

You see that often in dramas. The running-out-of-breath-and-kiss-to-give-you-my-oxygen routine.

Awesome episode. I was cheering the whole time.

Sorry but i found this episode weak. First because that kid was easy to get rid off in many ways and they made things more complicated than they should and second for the ending. Why the hell did nine simply left two of her most dangerous antagonist live when they were right there and easy to kill? It makes no sense.

Jkunjp said:

Saying that she will be Yuki's worst enemy?? ~ I'm thinking that Yuki will fall in love with Yuno and BAM, he'll have to kill her or something along that line vice versa if Yuno was gonna kill Yuki.

I think Yuno is fine giving her life for him so is not that she's his worst enemy because she's gonna try to kill him in the end. I think maybe she's his worst enemy because as you said she will make him fall in love with her and maybe kill himself to save her in the end. On the other hand she's crazy so she might decide to kill him and herself so they can die together or something.
Another scenario where she might actually be fine killing him is if she is thinking of killing him becoming a God and bricking him back.

i was thinking the same thing, but it seems kind of farfetched too. And I have to agree I also found this one of the weaker episodes still very good though. Alot better than most of the stuff airing lol. Mirai Nikki's still my favorite of this season and it looks like it'll become one of my all time favorites.

To the people who wonder why rei is crazy messed up with an amazing knowledge on how to kill people remember that his parents are mad gang-raping cultists that liked to beat each other up. I see this as a good reason for his madness and violence.
I wasn't there, man
I didn't see the look on his face as he was dying

This...there a distinct reason why she like that. Just give it time.

Also she and the fourth have some sort of weird partnership....his diary probably showed the death of yukki and yuno by the hand of rie or some shit. He asked her to help them out...for helping her out.

Good episode, but i had a few gripes with it.

To start things of, Yuki was shocked when he saw all those bodies at Yuno's house, and he wanted to distance himself from her. However, his mother got hammered by her this episode, and he didn't give two shits about it.

Second thing is how he claims he's not in love with Yuno, yet he randomly keeps kissing her. First time in the car, and now on the stairs. It makes him a hypocrite, not including all the other annoying character traits he has.

Lastly, that knife censorship was fucking stupid. At first i couldn't make out what the hell was censored, so i thought maybe his guts were sticking out or something, but then i realized it's just the knife.

Other than that i enjoyed this episode. Yuno makes this show. I would of dropped it if it weren't for her.

Unconscious body =/= skeleton remains. Still though, I would have slapped Yuno or something if I were him.

He was transferring air/oxygen. When Yuno was shocked, she took in a deep breath with the gas still in the air. What, you expect him to give her air through her nose?

Agree, though you don't usually see underage (not loli's) children getting stabbed like that. It's usually something like a OHKO and thier body remains are gone (Kurokami).

I hate to be mean but your viewing comprehension sucks.

There was no reason to be as shocked about the hammering of his mother because it was obviously an accident. He knew Yuno wasn't going after his mother with the hammer but after that kid.

The supposed kiss wasn't just because he felt like kissing her. He was giving her air because she was holding her breath not to inhale the poison and she was out of breath.

The knife was obviously a knife how could you not realize that? Anyway no one likes censorship but blaming the anime about it is ridiculous. The show aired on TV, the TV guys weren't gonna let them show a knife stack into a little kid. If you wanna be mad at someone be mad at the censorship laws and the hypocritical prudence of our societies when it comes to such things.

She's a nice person? She was close to blowing a whole school and killing them before and now, now she's too nice to kill them? I'm nice too but when it is inevitable to fight them for your life i would have killed their asses on the spot.
As about the awesome factor, well being awesome by not killing defenseless people is nice and all but it won't feel so awesome when they waste her ass in the future because she let them live. There is being awesome and being stupid and it seems to lean more on the other side to me.

Saying my viewing comprehension sucks is just a poor attempt at trying to make your argument stick out more.

1. Sure it was an accident, but his mother got hammered by someone who has dead bodies in her house. Also, he clearly stated that he never wanted Yuno to meet his mother, and he's still somewhat trying to distance himself from her. What does that mean? It means he obviously thinks she's a crazy bitch. If a crazy bitch hammered my mom, accident or not, i wouldn't just shrug it off and be cool with it.

2. I've already said i made a mistake on that part. If you actually took the time to read my other replies, besides the first one, you would of known that. No need to repeat what 2 other persons already said.

3. What are you talking about? I said i did realize it was the knife in the end, but the censorship really stuck out, so at first glance i thought it might be more gory than what it ended up being. I never blamed the Anime about it, i just said that it was stupid to be there. I don't have to like it, even though it makes sense for it to be there.

im gonna agree with this, as i said before, this is kill or be killed, your two main competitors and most dangerous ones that killed 4 (?) other diary holders, took your eye out and will kill you in the future are lying unconscious in front of you and you save them?

i havent read the manga, i just hope they have a good explanation for that and they tie it up well.

Yukii's indecisive and idiotic judgment piss me off so much. granted at the last second he does what he need to do. but doesnt he realize its kill or be killed?

what was the point of having rei's diary if they find it anyway? keep him hostage?

Well just think about it. "Simply killing him" and then having to explain the corpse of a five year old boy lying around in your home surely would not be "totally easy". Finding and destroying the Diary and having him disappear without a trace is much more convenient.

Also, I don't get why 9th didn't just finish off the two? Are she and 4th are probably working together to use Yuki and Yuno as bait for the other diary holders?

It was explained in the manga. Okay, more like a one sentence handwave but still better than how the anime did it:
it's about REVENGE. Roar.

i havent read the manga, so i do hope they have a good story on why 9th didn't finish them off (other than making the series longer hahaha)

as for why not just kill rei, again, i didnt read the manga, but from the anime, i think when Yuki said not to kill rei, i dont think he meant to destroy rei's diary either

Really nice episode, although the censoring of the knife was really unneeded. There are plenty of scenes where characters are stabbed and it doesn't censor it, Higurashi is a perfect example. Hmm, maybe it's because Reisuke was a kid. Whatever, it was still a good episode.

manga spoiler

Also, what kind of psychotic killer would want to simply kill a guy who stabbed her eyes when he is half dead? You can easily infer that she probably want to do something even worse to yukki. For example, killing off everyone he loves or taking out his eyes too.

This episode was horrible. Did I miss something, or was there a reason Yuno didn't stab the kid earlier in the absence of Yuki and his mom? Also, even ignoring the excessive knowledge the kid possessed and his access to things like poison gas, his motivation and background story was lacking compared to the previous diary holders.

I wonder how Yuki will explain to his mother why Yuno knocked her out and how the house got all messed up. Yuki should have let Yuno kill the kid earlier and avoided all this. Yuno could have discreetly killed and disposed of the kid earlier without involving his mother or causing any property damage, and explained it away as the kid running away. But Yuki screwed up by stopping her.

REI-KUUUUUUUUUUN! Really liked this ep but as much as I love the boy, his voice was kinda annoying at times. The only disappointing part was when Yuno was apologizing to Yukki for hitting his mom. It was much more awesome in the manga imo.

Oh and yes, the censored knife made me go 'wtf' too. It was sad to see him die but oh well. On to the next arc! :D

I wonder how Yuki will explain to his mother why Yuno knocked her out and how the house got all messed up. Yuki should have let Yuno kill the kid earlier and avoided all this. I Agree, Yuno should of just stabbed Rei from the start.

2. I've already said i made a mistake on that part. If you actually took the time to read my other replies, besides the first one, you would of known that. No need to repeat what 2 other persons already said.

Didn't you looked at times when you posted that answer? My post was only 3-4 minutes after those and quite bigger. So no, i didn't repeat what others said, they simply posted while i was writing. It happens in forums you know.

No, i didn't look at the times, because i don't camp on the forums waiting for your reply. By the time i replied, it only said we both posted an hour ago. Also, there's an edit button on the forums you know, so after you posted you could have edited your message.
