| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting, they got Egyptian context into this episode. Wasn't expecting it but interesting. Kinda liked how they added a touch of supernatural asthestics to everyday items and setting. That snake shaped bath...lol. This finale felt really relaxing, just everyone haning out as usual. Nothing groundbreaking but I think it works. Overall, an alrght series. 7/10. Edit: it's not the final episode, my bad. |

| I kinda dislike that they animate chapters out of order, it leads to skipped character introductions like with Anubis this time and some logic discrepancies from time to time. Plus, this season is having some pacing issues. That doesn't make me too hopeful about another season, although I sure want one. Another thing I don't particularly like, although it's not about the show but about the subs, is how the subs translate Hoozuki's position, 'Hosakan', as Chief of Staff when it's actually First Adviser/Aide to Great King Enma (there was a chapter that revealed that Enma has 5 such advisers, among which Hoozuki is the first and the boss of all the others who all report to him rather than to Enma directly) Oh well, I guess it's still always fun to see the extend of Hoozuki's weirdness reflected in his tastes and hobbies and confirmations of his major sadistic streak. The guy probably could take over Hell if he wanted. |

| So the only negative point of Hell's Hot Spring is its regenerative/healing ability unlike at the Heaven like Hoozuki said earlier. |
