I can safely say technology has advanced us as humans, but in my cases, it has also made something simple become a hassle. This obviously does not apply to every thing of course but I sometimes think that technology has made things more of a hassle, and we simply get used to it and consider it "easy".

well technology has enabled us to become more precise, so that we need to control more things. in that sense it's more complicated.

but from day to day life, tech has definitely made life easier
Now I see the secret of the making of the best persons.
It is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth.
-Walt Whitman

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

It's made our lives easier, but it's also made us stupider. We don't have to think or memorize as much now, which might be a problem.

Depends, with new advancements comes new hardships. When ever something new is made that can be "good" there is always a bad that comes with the good. Also sometimes I feel like we rely to much on technology.

I think it's made my life more difficult.

most studies i do at school find that technology as a whole, made us a lot smarter, but sadder

e.g. take the industrialization era. what happened after that was modernism, where everyone started wondering about existence and stuff because their lives felt empty. and now that we're in the digital era, studies prove the average person on social media platforms like instagram become more depressed because they tend to compare their lives with others and feel like other people are leading better lives than them.

so yeah generalized a lot there, but i think technology made us more emotionally complex in a negative way.

It has made out lives easily complicated.

By each let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword!''

Technology solves old problems and creates new ones.

The problem is, a lot of technology does things for us and many people find they got nothing to do. Technology is a tool, not a servant. It should make you able to do more, not necessarily make life easier.

Pretty much this and i am affraid that someday reality will turn into psycho pass or ergo proxy version of reality, where people will kill themselves as population due to over tech rely incapable of living properly .

People are already killing themselves a lot.

Psycho-Pass' reality looks good to me. Sure, some people suffer but it's far better than ours.

It think it's made our lives a little too easy for the most part. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years from now, technology is doing most of the thinking for us, it's already starting to look that way.

Overall definitely easier.

There's much more situations where life is now easier than situations where life became more complicated. Some obvious ones: Microwave, cars, elevators, vaccinations, etc.

But that's how it is really. In order to use technology efficiently,
you need to learn it in depth. If not, you experience difficulties.

I think we've come to rely a little too much on technology. If we suddenly found ourselves without it we'd probably be scrambling for a nice while.

the benefits outweigh what we see as "a hasstle" so much that its not even a comparison. most of the time the "hasstle" is just the operator not knowing how to use their tech or them expecting the tech to do it all without them.

I agree with what you said in the OP. As a whole it's advanced us greatly with medicine, communication, ext. Certain things it has caused more harm then good though.

I disagree. I think it made us advance our thinking. We're no longer focused on calculating large sums of numbers. We're focused on more complex mathematical problems. Because it does some types of thinking for us, we can do others.
