| I called it before. The Council planning to do something to arrest Fairy Tail. Didn't expect that they would really send a person inside Fairy Tail, let alone that person being Mest. Nice twist. Though with his scared face in the last page, I don't think he'll put up a good fight. Still, he managed to fool FT with his magic so I guess I'll expect something from him. Let's see Panther and Wendy fight here. |

| I think Mest being scared/shocked was because of the ship being exploded. I don't think it says anything about his magical strength. And obviously he's strong enough to be in the Council. By the way, how they keep mentioning Zeref's slumber I'm led to believe that Death Kid is not aware that he is Zeref. He obviously doesn't control his powers so he kills randomly, making him want to die. So for those of us who were hoping for the most powerful evil mage to be more than a scared emo boy, we might live to see that day :) |

| I don't really need to mention that the council thing was well played, but it really was. And am i the only one with the tought that Mest will actualy join Fairy Tail, for real after this arc? I actually kinda hope that will happen. I like Mest, and would love to see more of him after this arc. |
| Wow. That was pretty good. I feel bad for Kana. I hope that after this she gets to be an S class by default over Natsu, or there ends up being two spots open for the position. I can only imagine how powerful these guys are. I mean, a battleship like it was nothing? That's impressive. |

| So while most shounen authors have enemies prove their power by easily whipping a main character, Mashima has enemies blow up battleships. First Oracion Seis blowing up Blue Pegasus' Christina, and now Grimoire Heart blowing up the Council's battleship. lul "I sank ur battleship." |

It feels like an exact replica of the Oracion Seis arc. Blowing up a vehicle and having the few but insanely strong members. Well this time at least it's just Fairy Tail fighting them. |

| - lol'd at people thinking mest is weak because of his facial expressions. I fwe learned ANYTHING about him during this arc is that we can't trust whatever he does. I would not be surprised if he defeated this guy by tripping and falling down. - Awesome twist. It was quite ingenious to place the huge panel of Mest after talking about one of purgatory members being on the island already, leading people to believe it was him. -So I guess we will have a council arc latter on. Its quite clear that the guys are shady and FT has to get a clause to get Gerard back. - Still intrigued by Zeref and his connection to Natsu. Hopefully we will learn at least SOMETHING about the built up mysteries of the series. - Betting on Caprico being a stellar summoner and at least one of purgatory members being Archer-class-servant ala Erza. - Could it bet that the one who died in Female-Cat's foretelling was Makarov? 5/5 |

| So Mest was a son of a beach but not the one who came from Grimoire Heart. I wonder how will this turn with Makarov taking the lead in the counter-offensive. PD: You can't hide things from Erza... you just can't XD |

| I don't want Makarov to die. Don't get me wrong, I think the occasional deaths can really improve stories. But we haven't had a lot of depth from Makarov yet. We know he's strong and all, but there's so much more potential in him. But then again, it depends on how the story goes. Maybe we could have Gildarts as the new Guild Leader :D |

| In my toughts, Fairy Tail is way better than Naruto right now. Actually, it's the manga i look the most forward to read, after One Piece at least. Cause Naruto is totaly balls right now, to be honest... |

| Azuma reminded me of that Naruto character, one thats always popping out of everywhere, plus looks like a plant in the beginning but thats just me. So Mest 'The Rape Face' is just a member of the council, now thats unexpected., but hes still a freak. Looks like we will be getting some Makarov action next. |
| hell ^^ Just read about 50 chapters in one run. scaryly addicting. My guess is, that Mest will get owned, lie around, and then save one of the characters. Just to then be saved by .. Natsu? so in the end he can step up for them in front of the council. Natsu and Zeref are maybe linked by the dragon.. I would've guessed they were both apprentices - just too bad that the death kid is 400 years old. and yeah, that also reminds me of the oracion seis arc - a limited number of "unbeatable" enemies, with something far greater going on in the background. |

Now Mashima just pulled of TWO major twists in a row. First that the feared Zeref actually does NOT want to hurt anybody, and TWO that Mest was not a member of Grimoire Heart but a member of the council. |
