Suddenly Wolverine. Looks like some kind of a teaser before the Wolverine's anime. And who was that guy at the end? I couldn't really recognise his face.

It was the guy who had the coin originally... What could this mean.... Hmm...

Also, Wolverine had a bad voice actor. Should've sounded more rough. Gendo, I mean Fumihike Tachiki should fit the image quite well.

Wow, totally wasn't expecting Wolverine to show up so randomly. I know the Wolverine anime is coming out in January, but I still didn't see that coming. Although Im happy to see him, his personality seemed to be a bit off. I cant quite put my finger on it, but it seems to me that he should be a bit more quote unquote rough around the edges, and not the smooth operator type that they portrayed him as. Other than that, Im interested in seeing what his role is gonna be.

I think Logan was just a cameo appearance; completely welcome though! Would not be surprised to see Stan Lee pop his face in at some point asking for coffee or something.

So at least something to actually advance the plot was shown, and it was nice to see the creation of iron man again. It would be hard to rate this show since you sort of need that background knowledge in order to appreciate Stark.

Damn that news girl is really EVERYWHERE! The driver, his house, behind him... Behind you! She appears almost as nonchalantly as Logan did this episode.

Logan?! That's a nice touch. For a second I was like

The show is slowly getting better, that's a good sign.

Nice to see that they're willing to do crossovers and put other Marvel characters in the show. Hopefully this means we'll see at least another character show up. Wonder if this means that Iron Man will show up in the Wolverine anime?

It was kinda hard to recognize the person in the Dio suit until you go to the flashbacks. Then it's obvious who it is.

Slightly better episode than some of the stuff we've seen before. I found Wolverine's appearance in this show laaaaaaame though. His personality and voice actor didn't really quite fit him, and the way he saved Iron Man and the reporter from that crazed racecar driver was really a deus ex machina.

And then it's totally obvious that this isn't a cheesy reference to the stuff from the Holywood movie. Yeeeeah. It was okay though, the part about Iron Man's backstory wasn't horribly directed. I mean the movie was clearly better, but I thought overall it was acceptable storytelling.

Average show to me overall.

Compared to the first three episodes, this episode really did not progress the story much. Yeah we found out that Zodiac is creating assassins out of people who are all out of hope, and that Wolverine has been keeping tabs on them, and just for kicks we get to see the anime version of the birth of Iron Man.

Seriously though, I got excited when Wolverine showed up, until I realized that he didn't really act like the comic book hero I remembered. He acted too cleaned up and lacked his usual rough and tumble attitude. Furthermore on that line of thought when I saw Yinsen with the coin my first reaction was "How the hell did Harvey Dent get into a Marvel story line?"

Seeing Wolverine was a big surprise but he was a total Deus Ex Machina, popping up twice out of nowhere to save Stark in the nick of time. Interesting reveal also regarding the end, seems they might be playing around a bit with his history.

Also, I felt sad for all the animals on the island that Tony blew up for his demonstration. :(

Lol Logan. He's seriously off character. I think I recognize his VA but I can't remember.
And the flashbacks leading to Yinsen piloting the Dio, I don't buy it. He's suppose to be dead, right? This, plus Wolverine in the story, makes this even more confusing. I don't get where this will go but I enjoy the music and the fights so I'll stick around.
Though Nanami being around every few seconds will seriously get on my nerves.

Iron Man needs Wolverine to rescue? Wel... Wolverine IS pretty epic. Just that his character didn't seem right... for once i mean he didn't even say "bub".

Nice cliffhanger...

I have to say that I didn't expect Ol' Canuklehead to make a cameo appearance but it was really nice to see him, even if he's off character. Nanami is really starting to get on my nerves if she keeps pops out in every scene. I don't think I will like where the plot is going with Yinsen being controlled or revived by Zodiac.

But.. how can Ironman lose to another Ironman (Dio)? He has no more experience with the armor?

What a baffling episode. Wolvering being as tall as Tony and prettier is one thing, but then for so much of the flashbacks to be shot for shot near-ripoffs of the movie is bizarre. And am I missing something, or did they pretty much just say that he's been Iron Man for 5 years and is thinking about retiring so early? Just weird and bad.

While not necessarily a great episode, for me it's a bit step up from the first 3 episodes, which I found totally formulaic. I think the back-story would flesh out the coming episodes.

The Wolverine cameo was kinda surprising.

That was supposed to be Wolverine? Yeah right. His character was off and the voice just didn't fit too well. I think I'll stick with my original decision to skip the Wolverine anime.

As for the episode, this is the first that I didn't enjoy. Mixing the flashback with current events didn't work so well and honestly confused me in the very beginning. Also, retiring after only 5 years is a bit ridiculous :/

LOL @ anime fans trying to decide that a comic book character is OOC.

Only problem with Wolverine was his height. Everything else was spot-on. That berserker crap is over-stated. One of Wolverine's earliest adventures was to Japan where he trained as a samurai.

Epic random appearance, with a nice shout out to the movie while finally establishing the anime as a completely different continuity. The crossovers will happen in every series. This is confirmed.

This two comments say everything i thought about Wolverine's appearance. Seriously since when does the maniac, hairy, animalisdtic killer that is Wolverine became a bishie smooth operator?
Wolverine became so famous exactly because of his rough nature. Destroying that is like killing the hero. What's next, making a Superman that like to hide in the dark and behaves like a cocky ladies man when his Clark Kent?

Anyway despite that the whole plot development of that doctor in the cave being the enemy is a nice development and it was nice how they made the flashback with the creation of Iron Man.

Wow Wolverine O>O i actually like his look even though he looks handsome and quite thinner XD
But the personality seems off, which i didn't really mind anyways.

The CG improved greatly, it looks so much better now, almost like the trailer one ^^

And this show is getting rather good, i am liking it quite a bit so far :D

This episoe felt more like random action scenes thrown together with a bit of back story. Didn't like it and the Wolverine cameo could have been handled much better.

Wow I mean i knew that Wolverine was going to show up but I thought it would have been toward the end of the series though but that was cool to see him in this one..... So yeah this show is looking like it might be one of those last 2 or 3 episodes that everything is finally going to start making sense n that everything is finally explained as well as jumbled all yup for the finale n i really hope that isnt the case but it is just a feeling i am having. Other then that it was a good ep not great but good.
